yes on [Music] good after or morning everyone mediologist Jeremy Baker here hope you're having a good start to your Thursday or Friday Junior as I hear a lot of people calling it since tomorrow is Friday uh it's a decent day outside not too hot I think we've shaken the 100 so far uh for the year I think we're done with those thankfully have any questions feel free to ask I'll follow along on my phone or any jokes or anything you want to talk about all right here's the aquifer uh picked up a little bit in the past 24 hours of 4/10 of a foot to 6288 that 10-day average still well under 630 so water restrictions won't be changing we still have stage three watering rules but we do have some rain on the way and you can see the drought monitor this is updated every Thursday so this is updated as of today very small area of extreme drought conditions in Kerr County uh moving up northward towards Bandera the rest of the area mostly severe to moderate drought conditions or abnormally dry our Eastern counties look good though so if you're on our Eastern counties you're all right but definitely need some more rainfall pretty much from Bear County Westward especially in the Eastern Hill Country that is for sure and we have lots of rain chances on the 7 day there's a look at the airport a lot of clouds out there we'll call it partly to mostly cloudy 82 at the San Antonio Airport Stinson is at 83 winds are at 7 mph mostly out of the East for the most part and the barometer holding steady at 106 miars and do. 73 with that humidity of 74% so it's a decent day outside not too hot 82 an Eagle pass 83 Del Rio still the 70s in the Hill Country 77 in kville 75 Rock Springs Pleasanton 79 and Floresville 83 sigin you're at 82 Gonzalez 86 factor in the humidity does feel warmer feels like 95 in Gonzalez 87 in Del Rio San Antonio 87 and a few 92s for peera and catula as well as hallville so we still have that humidity out there we are still in summer even though kids are back in school we still have a few weeks of Summer to go here's the radar you can see not a whole lot on the radar itself just a lot of cloud cover off towards Houston we do see a few showers and thunderstorms working their way in from the Gulf that's about it though but as we head through the day we are expecting some to develop here in South Central Texas here's the water vapor imagery you can see all most of the moisture right now is in the Gulf of Mexico but you have a spin a upper level area of low pressure right around Dallas you see that that's going to hook up some of the moisture and bring it our way and another weak system off to the West so no major weather systems but enough instability and moisture around to give us some rain chances here's the future cast breaking down for you hour by hour this is at 1:00 p.m. so most of us dry Eastern Counties have the best chance for any rainfall today at about 20% and there's the afternoon by 4:00 we're into the load to mid90s and not much rain out there only about a 20% chance but if you get some lucky you and as we head into your day on Friday Friday morning is pretty much starting out the same way partly to mostly cloudy could have a few areas of spotty drizzle especially toward the coastal plane and then by Friday afternoon a lot of that clears out but you see the flow coming in out of the Northeast around that area of low pressure I was showing you and that's going to drive in a little bit more moisture around that area of low pressure and send it our way not great chances on Friday but they will be there and they go up as we head into the weekend and unfortunately for Labor Day too so if you have Labor Day plans to barbecue make sure you're covered if you see lightning of course you want to get inside or just do the cooking inside there you go all right so the forecast is actually today uh we're going to see sun and clouds by noon about 89° 5:00 p.m. a straight shower and could see it isolated thunderstorm too again best chance at our Eastern counties this evening's forecast a 20% chance of an evening shower otherwise mostly cloudy low of 77 East Northeast winds at 5: to5 and sunset now at 7:59 so now before 8:00 as we get closer to that first day of fall almost said summer all right so here's the 14-day forecast 20% chance of rain today and tomorrow highs in the mid90s Saturday it goes up to 30% Sunday the first day of September up to 40% highs of 94 each day and then the best chance for fall 50% on Monday Labor Day and a high of 92 that's why we have a weather impact alert day on that day because of the 50% chance of rain that will definitely affect your Labor Day plans drop it down to 40% next Tuesday and Wednesday highs of 94 each day and then we stay at 20 to 30% chances for rain into the next weekend and highs pretty much staying mostly in the mid to Upper 90s so hopefully we're done with those 100s I'll have more on your weather coming up today on Ken 5 News at noon and Audrey castereno will have your news we hope to see you then bye-bye
