Welcome live to field level. I have a new Co host this year. I'm only kidding. Boise State alumnus Scott Matlock back rocking the blue and orange. This is the weekend in between the preseason and the regular season for you and I just had to grab you really quick. What brought you to Seattle WA today and how much are you bleeding blue today? Ohh you know me I'm. I'm always bleeding blue. Yeah. I mean we had a couple days off and I had the opportunity to you know catch a fly and come support you know my. Teammates and and voices saying so I had to jump on it and pull the trigger. OK First off how was life in the NFL and I gotta say the 99 powder blue Chargers jersey one of the sharpest looking jerseys in the NFL. Yeah, life's been good. God is great. Truly, truly blessed to be where I am and you know it's it's not a privilege you got to work out every single day and earn those things but but it's it's been awesome. One of the coolest stories to ever come out of the treasure. You played at home, Dale, you wind up at Boise State and then you wind up as a fifth round draft pick in the NFL. You have now passed the torch off though to a new generation here at Boise State, Michael Callahan going to get a chance to play significant snaps today, really for the first time in his career. What can you tell us about the boys on the defensive line and can they stand up to the test of a really, really talented Washington offensive line today? Yeah, you know, I definitely passed the torch and they'll that's something that everyone has to do. And I'm excited to watch these boys fly around today and and play with that extra energy and that that extra effort that they've been itching to play all summer long all fall camp. We can finally go out there and hit somebody else in our own teammates kind of thing. So and I know the defense will be ready you know Coach Coach D and and have do a great job getting those boys dialed in and making sure they know what they got to do. And one thing I know is that water is going to play hard. So going to worry about that Scott unbelievably. Proud of you, man. What you did here at Boise State go wreck shop in the NFL. I know you're here to just kind of enjoy game day, so I'm going to let you do that. But thanks for joining us. Awesome. No problem. Thank you. Scott Matlock, everybody.
