good evening my name is ner Carpenter I am a fourthe strategic Communications major from CW Amica our country is at a Crossroads last night the globe watched as former president Donald Trump and vice president KLA Harris faced off for the first presidential debate in the 2024 election this debate was more than just a display of political differences it was a watershed moment that revealed each candidate's vision for America's future revealing the economic boom National Security and energy independency we all enjoyed while Donald Trump was in office president Trump delivered a persuasive speech he emphasized the terrible effects of the Biden Harris Administration including the present border problem job losses and inflation he was transparent straightforward and utterly dedicated to bringing back America to his former glory Law and Order American families and the preservation of freedoms and sovereignty are all top priorities under his leadership however vice president Harris presented other failed initiative that that have undermined our country her vision for the future lacks tendency and determination that America requires from the mishandling to the economy to the disorganized approach to foreign policy she may have slammed people but what she did not provide was a concrete workable plan for rebuilding our country in 2024 we will decide whether to keep going down the wrong path or revive the greatness of our country Donald Trump is the fighter we deserve the leader we need and the president we will organize we we will prioritize America First once more thank you and God bless America all right
