T Meer and toil McCain hello welcome to this edition of the message of life I'm Pastor tar McCain and without any hesitation Lord Jesus open the hearts of the people that they may receive the words that are coming forth in this hour right now work through me Heavenly he Holy Spirit work through me so that I can deliver your message to your people and help them to have ears to hear in Jesus name I pray let's get right into this message it's called measure up measure up just want to tell you a little something you see my wife and most of you have met her that if you've watched this program most of you have met her pastor tsila she uh she she can look at something and measure it in her mind and then she'll go get you know one of those measuring things to measure out what she was looking at and most of the time she's right on the money I mean like right on the money when we even when we move from one house to another because you know throughout the years we've moved from place to place she would ask the Holy Spirit to go before us and measure out wherever we're going to move to we may not even know where it's at but she asked him to go and measure it out and then when the Lord leads us to the place that we're moving to everything fits he always go before us the Lord had been ministering to her concerning measuring measurements you see many times when it comes to uh to measuring life we tend to measure things wrong because we sometime measure things according to our opinion or the opinion of others or according to popularity fads following the crowd you know we measure that way because we we we are in fear of going against the grain we don't want to go against the grain so we play it safe in this election we are measuring one Fallen natured person against another Fallen natured person neither one are perfect but that's all we have that's all we have to deal with but still we don't always measure what each person truly stand for we only measure according to appearance if they're white if they're black if they're male or female or if they're Democrat or if they're Republican we must measure which of these candidates are standing up for the word of God understand that no truly to understand this that to truly measure life we must measure upward upward using God's standards of what's right and what's wrong it is important that we do that we must consistently well you know here's the thing we measure consistently every day every day at some point we have to measure things at the store going shopping choosing the right Insurance choosing the right car the right house we measure our girlfriends and boyfriends and you know to see if they measure up to see if things measure up that's why you hear people say sometime you know he or she didn't measure up for example I'm going give you an example when a young girl have a crush on a certain young man well she doesn't really know him she just like the way he looks and and because he may uh have a certain Talent you know he's on the basketball team or on the football team or maybe he's an a very popular band you know and and or he's just popular at school so since she doesn't really know him she creates an image of the person in her mind she creates a personality a character of the way she desires him to be but after she truly get to know him she found out that he did not measure up to the person she had created in her mind she found that he was rude arrogant untrustworthy and disrespectful to his family and many of his friends he didn't measure up many people have images that they create concerning people some you have created some sometimes we we create an image of how you see a celebrity in your mind you created an image you see this celebrity and you created an image of how you how you feel that this celebrity is going to be simply because you saw them in movies or you went to their concerts or or you purchased their CDs or they you may have an image of a political figure that you admire a religious leader and so on these are images that you have placed in your mind of how you think they are so we create the image but when we actually get to know who the person really is most of the time maybe not all the time but most of the time they don't measure up to our image after we have supported their careers after we have clinged on every word they said it is because we have judged them according to appearance as it is written in 1st Samuel chapter 16 verse 7 but the Lord said to Samuel don't judge by his appearance or height for I have rejected him the Lord doesn't see things the way you see thing the way you see them people judge by outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart of the person many times people just don't measure up many times I'll have to say most of the time the Lord expects us to measure measure all things according to his measurements because everything and everyone is measured you either measure up or you measure down God wants us to measure up yes we ourselves Christians we are required to reach that perfect measurement Jesus is our measuring line that we measure all things keep in mind that Jesus Christ is absolute perfection absolute love absolute light absolute life absolute righteousness absolute truth absolute knowledge and wisdom and all understanding absolute power Jesus is absolute uh might and strength he is absolute goodness and Holiness therefore all things are to be measured through and by him even ourselves we must measure up Christians we must measure up all of us and God is so faithful to help us that he has taken it upon himself to give us assistance to help us measure up by giving us people in our lives to assist us with our walk until we measure up to the full stature of Jesus Christ see God has placed people in your life to help you measure up as it is written in Ephesians CH 4: 11 through3 and he gave some Apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some pastor pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the Saints in other words to make us perfect for the work of the ministry God's Ministry not your own it's God's Ministry that he's given you a position in and everybody has to do their part for the and it's for for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ we are to be the body of Christ yet but for how long Lord how long have you given all of these people prophets evangelists pastors teachers and apostles and all of that for how long how long Lord shall the apostles go out build churches and be leaders in this hour how long shall the prophets continue to prophesy and preach God's word how long shall the evangelist go out spread the gospel and and do Miracles how long Lord shall the pastors Shepherd the flock of God and prepare them to meet the Lord and how long shall the teachers teach and give us the understanding of scriptures and by the Holy Spirit give us the revelation of Jesus Christ how long Lord how long how long are we to wait well the scripture continues to tell tell us how long it says till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God that's deep a lot of us think we have the knowledge of the Son of God but it's deeper than you could even imagine the true knowledge of the son of the Living God unto a perfect man we are to be a perfect man Perfect People unto the measure get this unto the measure measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ that's how long that's how long that God is going to keep people in your life to prepare you for that we must continue to grow until we all fulfill the measurements required to be like Christ we must measure up we will be measured but let our measurements be good measurements as as we go along and the Lord measure let him see growth as as he measures us just like when Zachariah saw a man with a measuring Rod or a measuring line in his hand to measure Jerusalem God said that he will be their wall of fire Zechariah Chapter 2 verse one I lifted up mine eyes again and looked and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand then said I whether goest thou and he said unto me to measure Jerusalem to see what is the breath thereof and what is and and what is the length thereof you see he had to First measure Jerusalem to see if they measured up but God's plan for the Jerusalem in this hour which is God's true city of peace is for her to measure up and behold the angel that talked with me went forth and another Angel went out to meet him and said unto him run speak to this young man saying Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns Without Walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein you see Jerusalem in this hour God's people they will multiply to the place that no human wall can hold them God will have God will have he will have to be their wall and the glory within them he goes on and say for I sayth the Lord will be unto her a wall of fire round about and will be the glory in the midst of her in the midst of his people as a whole and in the midst of his people individually he will be the glory in the midst God's last day Church must be measured in this hour to see if we measure up to the Divine measurements of Jesus Christ Revelation 21:1 15 through 17 and he that talked with me had a golden Reed to measure the city and the gates thereof and the wall thereof this golden Reed represents Divine measurements and the city lith four square and the length is is as large as the bread all sides are equal which means this is a well-balanced city or a well-balanced people having all things in common and he measured the city with the Reed 12,000 furlongs or in the natural 1500 miles but remember this is a golden re so the these are Supernatural spiritual measurements the key is the number 12 the number 12 means leadership Authority multiplication and renewal for example J Jacob had 12 sons they became leaders they had Authority and they multiplied into the nation of Israel Jesus chose 12 men and gave them Authority they became leaders and they multiplied to become the nation of Christianity 12 also means renewal the the 12-year-old girl that that Jesus raised from the dead renewal and the lady with an issue of blood for 12 years this is a revelation for us today for God's last day church today and it's concerning us his last day Church which shall come alive we shall go through a renewal we will come alive in this hour and be free from the Fallen nature blood of Adam to take on the blood of Jesus Christ it means being healed and renewed reborn born again I mean really born again not just saying it but really being literally born again he continued the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal and he measured the wall thereof 1004 and4 cubits or in the natural 216 ft but but remember these are Divine measurements it's not going actually in what's in the natural is spiritual measurements according to the measure of a man that is of the Angel the Angel's measurements of 144 carries a powerful message of Spiritual Awakening and Enlightenment 144 we're going to get to that what does 144 mean God's church we we are to be the light of the world we shall be lights in the firmament of Heaven to give light to the world as Jesus said himself Matthew in in Matthew Chapter 5 verse1 14-16 he says you are the light of the world he said the light of the world because his light is in us and we shine we outray with the out raying of Jesus Christ we are the light of the world a city that's on a hill cannot be hid neither do men love light a candle and put it under a bushel but on a Candlestick and it giveth light unto all that are in the house and in this hour we are to go outside of the Four Walls of the house or or or the church and in this hour we are to go beyond the four walls so that our light so that people can see your light let your light shine so so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven you see when you add the numerical value to numbers in Hebrew 144 equal light light that's the 12 times 12 number it equals light light 144 is a perfect square the angel was measuring with Divine measurements he was measuring God's last days Church the Bride of Jesus Christ and we measure to up to Perfection we measure up hang in there because we will measure up if you hang in there don't let go we will measure up keep in mind that the world measures us as well Christians did you know that you being measured they are measuring all Christians the world is looking at all of us and measuring all Christians because the world believe it or not want to see the sons of God they want to see something real if you say God is real Christians we want to see him we want to see him and we want we want to see him in you as it is written in Romans chapter 8 verse 19 for the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God that the world you see the world wants to know if you Christians if all of us if we really have the juice if we're really anointed and they know if you don't have the fullness of God the world can see it it's plainly seen if you don't have it even we have to be truthful with ourselves and know that we only have the spirit by measure a little here and a little there the spirit comes on us we feel holy we're praising the Lord we feel good and then the next day we're ready to fuss and cuss and fight some somebody because they did something wrong or said something wrong to us we only have the spirit by measure Jesus didn't have it by measure he had it in fullness therefore when the when the Holy Spirit uh descended Upon Jesus he remained and we want the Holy Spirit to remain upon us you see we're only walking right now in this hour in ankled deep Waters of the Holy Spirit we need more that's only a measure or the earnest or a down payment of God's spirit but we know that we need more Ezekiel 47 verse3 as the man went Eastward with a measuring line in his hand he measured off a thousand cubits and led me through ankled deep water you know but however even in this hour there are some Christians who have obtained a larger measure of God's spirit Ezekiel 47:4 again again he measured a thousand and brought me through the waters the waters were to the knees again he measured a thousands and and brought me through the waters and they were to the loins you see we want to keep moving forward knowing that there's still more more of God's spirit that we need in this hour as it is written in Ezekiel chapter 47 verse5 afterward he measured a thousand and it was a river that I could not pass over for the waters were risen Waters to swim in a river that could not be passed over people Christians that's what we want we want the spirit without measure we want the Holy Spirit to fill us up to overflowing and then we give him out all over the world so that the spirit of the Lord is so great that it will be like a river of life that the world will see and swim in that's God's will that's our job to be vessels for the Holy Spirit to move in we Christians must measure out our days the time we're living in to see if we measure up we must see if we have enough of Jesus in us do we have enough love enough unforgiveness enough faithfulness kindness in other words do we have enough of the Fruit of the Spirit spirit in us we must take the time to measure ourselves we are living in a time of spiritual warfare therefore we must count the cost of the battle do we have enough Faith love and trust in God to sustain us during the Long Hall during these rough times we must learn to measure all things according to the word of God let's learn to test or try or measure all spirits with the word of God as it is written in 1 John 4:1 beloved be uh beloved believe not every Spirit but try test measure the spirits whether they are of God because many false prophets are going out into the world and you know there's many liars out there so we have to measure use discernment measure test try the spirits use Jesus Christ who is our measuring line to see if they measure up these Spirits or people that come before you claiming to be this or claiming to be that we must follow the example that Jesus laid before us Jesus measured the he measured every word that Satan said to the scriptures in Matthew 4:3 through four and when the tempter came to him Satan when Satan came to him he said if you be the Son of God command that these Stones be made bread but Jesus came back and answered and said it is written he went to the word of God man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God he measured his words Jesus measured Satan's words with the word of God verses 5- 11 then the devil taketh him up into a holy city and sth him on a pinnacle of the temple and saith unto him if you be the Son of God cast yourself down for it is written he shall give his angels charge concerning you and in their hands they shall bear thee up lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone Jesus said unto him it is written there you go again going to the word of God measuring it Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God and Satan didn't even know how deep this was you see Jesus Christ was and is the Lord God and Satan believe it or not was trying to tempt him he didn't know it what he was doing and Jesus told him don't tempt me I'm the Lord your God Don't Tempt the Lord your God it is written again the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them and saith unto him all these things will I give to you if you will fall down and worship me this is what Satan was saying Satan wouldn't give up but the Lord continued to measure his words against the word of God giving us an example how to combat Satan then saith Jesus unto himg thee hence Satan for it is written there it is the word of God Thou shalt not Thou shalt it is written Thou shalt Worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve then the devil leaveth him and behold Angels Came and ministered to Jesus you see unlike Adam and Eve they would not have fallen if they would have measured the words of the serpent or Satan to the word of God that's all they had to do God told them this was the word of God he told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or they will die Genesis chapter 2 verse1 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil Thou shalt not eat of it for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die this is what the Lord told them but they listened to a lie Satan's lie Genesis 3:4 and the serpent said unto the woman you shall not surely die that was a lie a straight out lie God just said you will surely die if you eat of that tree but but the serpent or Satan said no you won't die you see they did not measure the words of the serpent to the word of God therefore they ate and they did die according to the word of God we must measure ourselves to the word of God to see where we stand in this hour where we stand in the eyes of God our Father are we being obedient to his commands are we walking by faith and not by sight are we looking I mean are we loving the Lord with all of our hearts Souls mind and strength and are we loving our neighbors as ourselves are we doing this are we doing this let us measure ourselves now so that when God measures us we will measure up and not measure down God wants to see Jesus in all of us he wants his love in all of us when he sees that when he sees that we and and know when he see and know that we have loved then we can enter into into his kingdom because it is then that we the whole man body mind Soul and Spirit measures up and then we can be changed renewed refreshed regenerated reborn and that's when we live forever amen that's
