A Place In The Sun's Jasmine Harman breaks silence after Jonnie Irwin's tragic death

Jasmine Harmon from A Place in the Sun has spoken out about her co-star Johnny win's death a month after he sadly passed away at 50 following a brave fight with cancer Jasmine who worked with Johnny on the popular show shared her feelings while at A Place in the Sun live she said it's been a month since we lost a very special person someone I was lucky enough to call a friend she added time has this weird habit of keeping on going when it feels like it should stop today am at A Place in the Sun live and it is hard as Johnny is on my mind a lot she continued over the years we were always filming in different locations and so we most frequently got to spend time together at the A Place in the Sun Live Events this photo was taken here last year in Manchester she confessed it feels strange and sad to be here without him he was such an inspiration to so many people and he has missed so much thank you to all the people who have given messages of support and as always my thoughts and love with Johnny's family Johnny who also hosted BBC's escape to the country revealed in November 2022 that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 and that it had spread to his brain in early February a family spokesperson said Johnny had fought bravely against cancer with wavering strength and courage before he died at 50 Jasmine aged 48 wrote on Instagram that she had never known anyone as strong as Johnny she remembered their time as co-hosts fondly saying to begin our TV careers together was a pleasure and a privilege I will be eternally grateful for almost 20 years ago as two nervous new presenters me perhaps more nervous than you little did we know about the adventure we were about to embark on and the friends we would become Jasmine spoke about his joy in being a family man never were you happier than in your role as husband and dad to the most awesome three boys you are a legend
