rebounds one of the records she broke hold your breath folks don't kill me the turnover record gasp I know the most turnovers in a single season in the WNBA quick get rid of her trade her put her in free agency give the Rookie of the Year award to somebody else is that the reaction you guys want or do you want me to bring some truth to the matter Diana terasi the goat most turnovers in WNBA history LeBron James undeniably top five top 10 player leads the NBA in turnovers want to go to a different sport okay Brett Favre top 10 top 15 quarterback all time interception machine Josh Allen one of the better quarterbacks in today's soft NFL turnover machine Joe burrow not a turnover machine but he holds on the ball damn too long and it results in sacks and when you lead the NFL in sacks your team tends to punt a little bit more so if we want to dismiss Caitlin Clark for having the most turnovers in WNBA history in a single season in her rookie year by all means go ahead but let's dismiss what Diana terazzi has done let's dismiss LeBron let's dismiss all these other great players who have their flaws kayn Clark's turnovers aren't because she's a bad player it's not because she has no handles it's because she tries to do too much it's because she tries to create too many opportunities for her team and we all watch the first 1520 games she probably should have at least 50 less turnovers than she already has Kaylin Clark has about 139 turnovers so far this season how many of those are dropped passes right through their hands not looking not prepared kayin Clark is an elite playmaker in this league one of the best facilitators the WNBA has ever seen of course she's going to turn the ball over but guess guess what the team's winning aren't they in the beginning of the season when she was turning the ball over at a high clip they meant a lot more because they cost the team victories now she's turning the ball over because she's trying too hard to fit it in that tight window that's not there but we can't lie to ourselves and say the turnovers haven't come down we can't lie to her ourselves and say her decision- making with the basketball in her hands hasn't been improving week after week after week after week this past game she had a couple passes that were just maybe a little bit too hot to handle maybe o slightly over their head is that why the Indiana Fever lost this game absolutely not they shot 24% from the three-point line they got away from rotations that were working they played Katie Lou and Alissa Smith a little bit too that's why the history Caitlyn Clark is is a Savage folks we have never seen somebody come into the league with the ability to score at will and the ability to make their teammates 10 times better than what they terasi has been when it comes to 20po games this season as a rookie Kaylin Clark has 13 if you add up all the rookies this year and all of their 20-point games not even close not even close we don't even want to see kayin Clark's assist numbers compared to the rest of the rookies no disrespect Julie van l no disrespect but Kaylin Clark's got you beat she's competing for the all assist record for the WNBA the most assists in a season that's the C that's the record kayin Clark's now going after she's trying to lead the league in assist as a rookie that's what kayin Clark is now going after comparing her to all these other rookies in her class as you can see the separation is apparent but that's not another record that kayin Clark is closing in on last year Brianna Stewart had 12 games of 25 and five the most in a single season with 12 kayn Clark through 30 Games already has 11 we have 10 more games to go for kayin Clark to get two more 25 and five games and break a WNBA record I'm telling you this is as a rookie soon she's going to be averaging 23 8 and5 24 - Six she's doing this as a rookie chasing Brianna Stewart's record chasing Diana terasi chasing subd chasing Alysa Thomas she out here chasing greatness Brianna Stewart last year she won the MVP so you want to continue to tell me kayin Clark's not in the MVP discussion you are out of your mind kayin Clark as of right now is averaging 178 and six no player in his history has averaged that let alone not been named all WNBA first team Cayla Clark has a serious case for all WNBA first team her stats as a rookie she's averaging more points than sub bird she's averaging more rebounds than sub bird and you're damn right sub bird was all WNBA as a rookie so the president is already there I can't wait to see them ho Caitlyn Clark on the all WNBA team I can't wait to see yet another snub take place and the goalpost will continue to move but as of right now it is no surprise to any of us that kayin Clark is playing as well as she's playing we expected this folks we expect her to play so well that when we see 23 8 and5 people have the audacity to say she had a bad game that's how good she's been playing folks think of that as a rookie putting up 238 and five and we're like damn she really should have played better cuz we know it's in her we know she has that ability in the last three games she's put up 238 and5 most recently 235 and9 20 29 5- 10 model of consistency and the team went 2-1 in this stretch folks don't be too don't be too mad this is the first time the Indiana Fever lost to a 500 team in a month and a half six straight times they versed a team over 500 six straight times they beat them until last night so let's not hold our head too much over this loss because this team is seriously poised to make a run I would hate to see the Minnesota links in the first round trust me I would hate to see that but if we make our three-pointers last if we shoot 35% we don't need to shoot 40 if we shoot 35% we're winning that game despite all of the hiccups don't be surprised if we get to late September and October in the Indiana Fever are giving these Elite teams fits are giving the aces fits are giving the links fits giving the Liberty fits giving the sun fits folks we just saw the Chicago Sky nearly beat the Connecticut Sun they should have won won that game any ANF could do that we just saw the Las Vegas Aces versus the Minnesota links the other night they lost as well we can beat this team we just need to make our open shots we need to really iron out the rotations iron out these lineups and Chris decides you're not their friend you're their coach so if you need to give if you need to say hey you're out of the rotation you need to say you're out of the rotation if you need to say hey you don't have it you don't have it tonight but when you get into these huddles I hope that we're holding people accountable and we're not just making generalizations about the whole team because that will be doing the Indiana Fever an incredible disservice Kaylin clork and Kelsey Mitchell every night they're coming to ball Aaliyah Boston as well she's not crushing it like she did before the break she's had a few good games don't get me wrong but those three seem to consistently bring it every game we need others to bring it as well whether it's Lexi whether it's ktie Lou finally getting those threes whether it's dantis getting in the post folks I saw danst post up nafisha ker simply moving her out of the way because she weighs more and can utilize her weight if I was Chrissy sides I would have went back to it oh that seems pretty easy hey try to do that again we didn't see it again we need to identify mismatches and take advantage is it a mismatch with klier on
