about the pressure you guys got on them today and the difference that made uh made a huge difference uh really sped him up made him make quicker decisions and uh I think also the back end too we was covering down and holding routes made him think a lot more and got us a lot of sacks and a lot of you see on your tip to Glenn and how how cool was it to turn around and see see him running down that was uh that was funny I was running I put my hand up I smacked it and like I was like turn try to find it I see his big boy like running past me I was like like he got the ball I was like I was like oh oh oh oh but that was crazy I was kind of I was kind of mad I was like I was like dang it Glenn like you got to take my glory man but no I love it he's he's a bro he's been putting in so much work he's a great guy he deserves it man drones only ran for 19 yards I think he had like 200 or something crazy in the bow game what were you guys able to execute well to keep him from you guys that way uh I mean a lot of it was like our linebackers being so dynamic me and langon being able to play on the perimeter and still fit into the box like it really helped a lot because we were kind of just everywhere it was hard for them to create any leverage or space anywhere on the field coach Le said you guys kind of lost your way a little bit there in the third quarter but what say about this entire football team that when you go down by score in the fourth that you're able to not just rally back but then find a way to win in an over man I think it speaks to how much we've grown like the resilience that we' formed I don't think we would have ever done that last year like just it shows how much closer we are the Brotherhood that we've like manifested over this like past couple months and shows us how dedicated we are to Coach Lee and to each other what did you see on that fourth down Virginia Tech final fourth down in overtime uh actually wasn't on the field in that play so I don't really know I saw I saw us uh covered down really well and I saw us win the game so that's about it how would you describe the validation that especially the defense gets from a performance like this with Coach lead you know leading away for you guys I mean the validation is nice but it doesn't really change anything we knew what we were and uh you know we went out there and performed and when it mattered most we came up strong cration un afterwards because it just looked like exuberance everywhere oh man I was so we were so happy everybody it was Smiles I was dabbing people up it was it was great it was a probably the most energy I felt like being here and even on our WIS any of our other WIS like it felt like I don't know it just felt amazing what are some the things you guys have to clean up into State defensively specific uh I say defensively just kind of getting the calls had some struggle with that over the course of the game you know kind of like not lining up some people being on one page some people on the other but I think once we get that ironed out I think we're solid that third quarter uh you know coach Le mentioned there's been times in the past that teams have not responded well when when a team makes a surge like that you all did fight back what what's the difference right now uh I say difference is our love for each other like we wanted we wanted so bad like we were on the sideline like hyping each other up we're like dude this this is it like this is what we play for this is what we do it for we do it for each other and I think we just didn't have that level of connection level of like love for each other that we have now been a lot of changes I mean is it tough to get that kind of connection when there's so many new faces around the building yeah I would say it's tough if you don't have the right people but I say we have the right people and all all the people who came in they bought in immediately they didn't like push back against anything and so you know maybe it would have been hard if they were different people but with our people it was easy anything else all right thanks Brian thank you
