along with Stefon Diggs Joe Mixon was the other addition to this Houston Texans offense that's going to be a big part of what their aspirations are going to be in 2024 and unlike Stefon digs as well Joe Mixon hasn't been able to participate in training camp thus far he's been out mostly with that quad injury and just got back to practice last week and now this week back on Wednesday he just started getting back into the flow of it and getting involved in team drills as well which is pretty quick a pretty quick progression over the course of two weeks but Joe Mixon mentioned it after one of the practices this week that he feels great the quad injury doesn't seem to be bothering him and that right now his main goal is to just get on the same page as the offensive line the wide receivers and obviously CJ Stroud because like I mentioned having CJ having Stefon digs tank Dell and Nico Collins is all great but you need to run the ball and Joe Mixon is one of the most underrated guys at doing that
