UFC Fight Night Reaction! Burns washed? Lima is next? 👀 Natalia Silva #1 contender? Brady top 5?

what's going on fight fans we are back here again with another fight night edition of Saturday night UFC Apex event and man I got to say damn you know regardless of them being a lot of no names regardless of be it being in the Apex it was just another entertaining card on a nice fight night so I'm going to be giving my reaction to the card or to most of the card the card that definitely had a lot interest in my eyes and before I start off with obviously the fight that you see on your screen I'm going to give a little shout out to jacquelene am Morman a lot of shout out to her she had a really really nice nasty armar sub to get her dubb she's on a three-fight winning streak now so hopefully she can be able to bump up herself in her name to be able to you know get her some recognition in the division that she's in uh definitely make her some noise but moving on up to the card we had yeza versus Gabriel Santos Brazilian fighting out the CH the books uh camp and Santos has had some uh pretty tough fights I mean he fought against Lon Murphy as You' seen he showed his class before with Edson Barbosa completely um you know neutralizing him and also going against David onama who I believe got that uh you know that knockout against him and he had that celebration that he had whatever the case may be but Gabriel do Santos uh looked really really well man I mean he really put on a show he his striking was definitely up to par yea was known for being a a Grappler type had a lot of first round finishes in his game and obviously having that Sho to bux regime under him Gabriel Santos is really good with the grappling and just with his hands he just shows that he's more of a complete fighter I think the losses are good for him especially for experience and I mean he just landed a lot of right hands had that front kick right to the face that dropped ye and hurt him really bad I thought that was pretty much the end of the story with that fight but he continue want to show a lot of toughness in heart y did uh but you know great win for Gabriel Santos gets his career back on track gets a win in the UFC especially going against some tough competition already before and um a really good win really good win for him in the truth of books Camp mov on up the card we had Felipe dos Santos going against Andre Lima which I could have believed to be the uh fight of this card I mean these two guys are on the up and coming you know Felipe dos Santos is coming off a win and he gave that tough fight to Manel cap and Andre Lima is just a sharp shooter on the feet and especially in the first round I think Lima definitely got the advantage on the feet he really showed more of his technicality and his I guess he was just better on the feet I mean you could say uh but in the second round Felipe dos Santos started to land a lot more shots started to you know get more chaotic get a little more rugged and made it into a fight instead of it just being a regular technical fight Andre Lima noticed that and started to be able to mix in some of the takedowns he did that as well and controlled him for the entirety of the second round and for the majority of the third round and Dos Santos had some moments here and there where he was looking really good and could be competitive on the feed with Andre Lima but uh Andre Lima completely negated that against Felipe do Santos taking him to the ground controlling him and nearly choking him out as you see on the screen with that rear naked choke uh very very impressive performance in my opinion for Andre Lima definitely showed him as a more complete fighter uh a better fighter just in this flyweight Division I mean on the feet you already know he's a sniper could be able to hurt you and it's very very technical but now showing his um his real experience and real problems that he can be on the ground I mean going against a shoot the books guy um you know with Gabriel Santos Felipe do Santos is a really good fighter very very tough and Scrappy uh but it just shows levels that uh Andre Lima is just in a different tier moving on up the card we had Isaac dgeren going against Brendan maroe and uh Isaac doarian was a minus two 2500 favorite and he just completely showed why he's that uh he may have gotten fraud checked in his last fight you know he got had a loss on his record no longer undefeated or undefeated in the UFC as well uh but this is the best of the best that you're going to pretty much be going up against and I mean he just completely controlled Brandon Merl the entire fight first and second round I mean there was a reason that this dude was a minus 200 200 200 2500 favorite um so I mean credit to him back on winning ways still a good Prospect I mean he just completely annihilated that dude moving on up the card we had rongo versus Chris Padilla and this was just a strict standup fight between these two guys these two guys were really throwing a lot of shots Landing a lot of shots I think in the first round in my opinion I think rongo uh did a lot better than Chris badilla he was a favor coming into this fight and was looking really really good but then he started to get a little cocky get too goddamn confident and just like every time he got hit with something good he like was shaking his hand saying no say it didn't hurt and the talking [ __ ] just caught up to him and towards the end of the first round Chris Padilla started to get a lot more success even though I do think rangu did win the round uh Chris Padilla in the second round just completely negated rongo offense especially on the standup uh really heavy base with boxing had some good kicks uh rangu but Chris Padilla second time him coming in as an underdog in a fight against yames lantop got the nice sub and against rangu throws a nasty elbow right on the eye wrongo was pointing at the ref trying to say that he got poked in the eye or something trying to complain or whatever but it was clear as day a nasty elbow on the eye not even on the eyebrow not on the cheekbone on the eye and I mean that freaking swelling of that eyeball was disgusting great win by dog Chris Pia stamping his name in this Division and he shouldn't really be dogs unless he's against the heavy heavy favorite in the division that he's in uh so good win for the dog Chris Padilla looking really nice and moving on up the card we had yanel osm going against Trevor Peak I mean Trevor Peak is the epitome of psychotic and Chaos incarnate I mean that dude was I mean I saw him as soon as he got into the octagon and he just looked like he wanted to murder you know it was crazy uh but in the first round it stayed on the feet Yan know's more of a crafty technical fighter and Trevor Peak as you know is going in there to murder you apparently and uh I think Trevor Peak uh was definitely whiffing a lot of shots you know look very composed try to stay on the back foot make Trevor Peak miss a lot but I think Peak definitely had some success a lot more on the feed in the second round it looked like Peak was starting to land a lot more shots even though yanal was making him miss a lot but then yanal started to mix in the takedowns mix in the grappling had a lot more success for Trevor Peak who his gas tank started to weather a little bit and then especially in the third round it happened again yanal had a little bit more success on the feet Trevor Peak as well uh but yanal just completely just neutralized him with that grappling took him down as much as he wanted to trips uh definitely controlling him and Trevor Pak had some success reversing the taked down having some control time himself uh but yanal Miz uh definitely looking really good mixing in the uh you know crafty little nice pot shots here and there with the grappling as well uh moving on up the card we had Matt Schnell the chinny man of all chiny mans in the lowest weight division in the UFC going against Cody Duran and uh he's a 4 day late replacement as uh I believe matchell was supposed to Face uh uh Alexandro Costa or something like that and and these guys just went in there and didn't give a [ __ ] about anything was swanging and banging like if it was no tomorrow and surprisingly Matt Snell's chin held up to a lot of the damage that he was taking but Cody Duran was getting some shots landing on him too really really nice uh showing by these two guys and then Cody Duran in a scramble in the second round turns on over gets what it looks like as like a guillotine an inverted Guillotine and he just wraps his arms around matchell gets the tap matchell retires shout out to him he's got knocked out a lot but has had a lot of bangers in his career and farewell to him uh moving on up the card we had Kyle Nelson versus Steve Garcia um Steve Garcia is making a name for himself man I mean this is five straight wins in the featherweight division uh he's looking really really good putting in a lot of INRI a lot of wins to his name uh he really just took over and controlled kynon the entire time whether it be on the feet or whether it be on the ground and during the ending sequence landed some nasty elbows to put Cal Nelson away and really is making a name for himself I don't think he should get a ranked opponent as of yet but somebody as a maybe a David onama or Andre Philly or something of the ilk of like that um but Steve Garcia I mean get performance of the night I mean welld deserved he just completely dominated K Ellison there who was kind of ranked around similar to where he is even though there's not an official ranking for both of these guys but I mean five straight wins for this dude putting on the momentum and just making a name for himself really really nice moving on up the card we had Jessica Andra going against Natalia Silva and the same as I could say as the match versus Cody Duran fight these girls went at it I mean they were swanging and banging throwing kicks throwing hay makers Jessica Andra was getting beat up most of the time though I will say that especially on the back foot Natalia Silva has a lot of skill is a well-versed striker and just put it on Jessica gondra who was trying to put on that pressure against her push her against the cage and really land the power and hay makers that that she has Jessica Andra is pretty much that's really just her game plan is she catches you with some power she's going to put you out especially in the women's or WM may but Natalia Silva man I mean has a nice chin and the skill that she has on the feet I mean as you can see these Sidekicks to the face to the body and also with the hand she's really really well versed I mean she's putting on a name for himself she's moving on up the vision especially a former champion and somebody that's you know been lingering around the top of the divisions multiple divisions that she's been in for the I think it's the flyweight division for the women Natalia Silva she's doing great for herself and moving on up uh and up the card we had the main event Gilbert durinho Burns versus Shawn Brady and I mean it's time uh it's time to say that gilber burns is washed he is not what he used to be in his prime he said 38 years old on a three-fight losing streak I think he really really hindered his career even though he tried to push that tremendous Pace late getting those three fights in like three months you know fighting um Neil Magny getting the sub fighting Jorge mazal like like a month or two months later and getting a nice decision win over him and then going against balah like a month later and him being injured in that fight I think really messed him up getting that loss against balah who didn't even look really that good in that fight also as well getting knocked out brutally by JDM and now going against Shawn Brady who had the loss against balah which I guess besides the Leon win is the best most credible win that you can say Bala has um took some time off got a nice nice win against Kelvin Gastelum pretty much just had a strangle hold on him and took control of him the entire fight and submitted him uh but obviously with Gilbert Burns knowing for being a great defensive Grappler and also has some good grappling you know being a black belt and BJJ um Shawn Brady and gilber burns had a stand up fight which is something I didn't expect or didn't see happening usually you know sha Brady is the one that's initiating the grappling has the advantage of grappling most of the time uh but this stayed on the feet and buddy did Sean Brady put a beating on Gilbert Burns good Lord have mercy on my soul sha Brady looked really really good I mean really really good man he has shown that he can be the cream of the crop or to the top of this division um him being number eight I believe and then Gilbert Burns being number six I mean you look at the top five you I think you still have Kobe obviously had the call out of Ian Gary um balage champ he could maybe get that rematch later against another competitor maybe um I don't think they would give him shaat and I don't think they would give him JDM as well um but put him against Ian Gary and I mean I would favor Shawn Brady I mean he looks like a complete fighter this is something I did not expect at all this was completely blindsided by me Shawn Brady looked really really good on the feet man just just completely annihilated Gilbert burns on the feet and don't get me wrong Gilbert Burns still had his moments was still throwing with a lot of power waiting for a lot of shots to come his way and maybe hurt Shawn Brady there was a couple times he had him wobbled but not super hurt um but that's all he did and and he made Gilbert miss a lot and Brady whether it be with the legs I mean he was killing him with the leg kicks I me he just looked complete man I mean if his standup is real like if it's this real and the grappling mixed in as well I mean him against Ian Gary is a complete mismatch complete mismatch uh but great show for Shawn Brady should be top five should take good with burn spot in my opinion um look really good and overall again like I said at the beginning of this video man this fight card was very very entertaining very very surprised in my opinion uh that this card was actually as good as it usually is cuz I mean usually these no-name cards are you know uh you know mid or trash uh but no it was actually pretty decent I got to give a lot of credit to these guys I mean they showed out to fight and they came out to put on some entertainment for us this fight night on Saturday thank you guys for watching man like obviously if you like this video and you like this UFC content that I'm
