this is Zoe Boyd who is our um live event or live television intern uh for this year the for the 2024 creative arts Emmys and she also helped out on the LA area emys uh in the early part of the uh intern process so yes she's our intern this year it's actually been a lot it's been super super fun the Bob Bane team is like incredible they're like their own little family and just have been very welcoming for me and I think I've learned a lot just in terms of like pre-production they've always included me on every meeting they've always let me in and welcomed me with open arms and I think that it's just lovely to also like be a part of the academy and be involved with those like student aspects they have a lot of like uh you know they have a lot of like Outreach where we can come in and learn professional development and meet each other and I think that's really lovely I think for me some of my goals are going to be like I want to be a teleion showrunner so not live I love live though too so anywhere anything I'll do anything really to be fair but my goals are to be sort of like late night shows I'd like to do some writing for that some show running some producing behind the scenes um and also be a comedian on the side if they let me incredible this is new information for me I didn't know I haven't told man that I thought you was funny but I he's like this is the time he reveals he's like I didn't think she was funny at all may want to rethink that comedian about it's been great from day one uh she was just very easy to work with and whatever we threw at her she did great and I don't know how has it been for you it's been really fun yeah everyone has just been very like like kind the tasks have been like high level you know it's interesting when I first started it was like sort of smaller things they're like read this let us know how it is and then another person and another person would check it you know and then the longer I went on they were like okay she's got it you know so they would be like she's got it Zoe checked it don't worry it's all said it's been Zoe proofed yeah it's been zo proofed right no one else needs to go that's a great question I would say I would say vibrant I think um it is very like on the ground like moving all the time like at my school all of our Productions like in the television station are live so it's very similar but this is absolutely massive and like tons of things can go like wrong and like the drop of a hat but then you know everybody's recovering every moment it's sort of like putting out fires but it's like fun fires you know um like for example someone walked off stage with our prop Emmy the other the other night and we were like oh bye like wait it's not real and then later at the end he was like I realized this isn't mine and brought it back to us but you know it's just sort of about like thinking on your feet and like moving with like the process and just doing what you can in that moment
