The AFD and the "Far Right" In Germany

[Music] [Music] good afternoon everybody and welcome along uh you join us today on the afternoon of the 2nd of September 2024 at 5 p.m. in the uh Greenwich meantime Zone um British time so uh today we are here as the title of the live stream suggests to talk about the Electoral success in the elections for the European Parliament of the afd in Germany uh which is uh stands for alternative for deuts land also doing well in this election the the bundis Zara vgan uh which are a uh split led by the aforementioned vgan from the disastrous um fiery pit of Abominations known as the delinker the left who have uh degenerated to the point where they've now openly got uh Zionist candidates running for them and in fact have been going pro Zionist for quite some time so today going to discuss the afd vgan as well a little bit but um mainly we're going to be focusing on like what the the rise of the afd means and why they are derided as uh as far right and I'm going to put the case to you that that's much less about um their immigration policy or their anti-muslim rhetoric and it's much more um about their stance when it comes to the European union now as for vgan uh I'm not going to spend too much time on her and the BSW not because it's not an important development because um it is to a degree but in many respects it's just a repeat of another attempt at a Reformation of social democracy and that's all it is if you read through the BSW platform it is a um really a sort of retread of um old school SP PD policies dating back to like the 1970s and it's thus completely utopian and reactionary a utopian because there is no scope for reform of German imperialism and I I say German imperialism because it is imperialism that is the phase of capitalism we and the Germans are currently in so it's an imperialist system in Decay it can't be reformed you can't go back to the days of vly brt um you can't go back to the days even of helmet Schmidt or even geard schroer those days are all gone the reform period after World War II is over it ended a long time ago so BSW are just another Nostalgia act um R run by a bunch of um opportunists who broke away from D Linka for some of the right reasons but mainly though this is just uh a retread of social democracy um a social democracy whose time has very much passed and just like d Linker um BSW will go the same way it'll find that any reform is impossible so it'll be faced with the same Choice which is either degenerate into um outright um collaborationism with the Bourgeois forces or disintegrate hopefully some who get caught up in it will draw revolutionary conclusions because of the impossibility of of social democracy in this time uh but we we won't hold our breath on that and this is the reason why I'm mainly going to be focusing on the afd because I think to deal with the the vargan organization would probably take a a different kind of episode and dealing with the afd is what I'm concerned with tonight and also as I said I don't think the vargan uh breakthrough is symbolic of anything other than um a uh a lingering Nostalgia for social democracy yes vgan X is offering slightly different things when it comes to Russia when it comes to Economic Policy but these are Le even less Possible's program and the afd's program is pretty much reactionary uh dystopian ISM anyway so what are we talking about when it comes to the afd of course there are a party that's just over 10 years old their support comes partially from people who've drifted away from the old CDU CSU uh Coalition seemingly from looking over their policy platform there's elements who've come over from the fdp as well there's a lot of uh what you would call free market uh policies in their platform so the afd came second in the uh recent uh German uh Euro elections again these are the elections to the European Parliament so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to um share with you a uh a uh particular window here which will show you the results but also the turnout because I want to show you just how uh much lack of seriousness there is when it comes to um the European elections so you should now all be able to uh see that and that's uh from the European Union's own site that's turnout by country in this uh ridiculous fraud of an election again like the overall turnout stands as you can see there from the bar that's in gold at a 51% and that's boosted by some really big turnouts in Belgium Luxembourg and Malta you'll find that the rest of it is either rather middling or average Orit slightly above average below side are Croatia uh a 21.35% turnout so you can tell that the croats are really excited to join the European Union because barely one in five of them turned out to actually look for one of its supposedly key institutions czechia Czech Republic 36.4% again look at this Estonia where uh 37.6% lvia 33.8% Lithuania 28.35 % like the if you believed the the leaders of the Baltic states the Baltic um Bourgeois like the the populations of the Baltic states were ecstatic to be in the wonderful EU doesn't look like it to me doesn't look like we're ringing endorsement when the highest turnout is 37% in a European parliamentary election but let's carry on let's look at some other um places in Eastern Europe Bulgaria 33% uh let's go Greece of course destroyed well by the Greek ruling class on behalf of the German ruling class 41.3 n% turnout Hungary slightly better 59% um probably more reflects the uh the relative strength of or band's block I'm guessing but I'd need to look more into that Ireland 50% not great Italy 48% again Italy one of the big countries of the EU but with the population increasingly turning against it um Netherlands 46% Poland 40% Portugal 36% Slovakia 34% Spain only 49% and Sweden 53 uh again boosted by turnouts high turnouts in much smaller countries I mean I don't know what the hell's wrong with the belgians maybe to could do a whole episode on that but you get the picture uh across Central and Eastern Europe and even increasingly in Western Europe itself especially in the the southwestern Europe places like Italy you're seeing the turnouts for these things collapse and and in some cases like Croatia I people seem to have barely noticed that they were in the EU so this is very telling I mean this is the the even bigger story than the afd's uh electoral Victory and if we look at the turnout in Germany slightly better 64.7% because ger German um participation in and German population support for the EU is still much higher than in places like in in the Eastern European States Luxembourg of course is one of the key headquarters of the uh the EU as is Belgium so like yeah I remember even when last time I went to Luxembourg which was years and years ago um there's it's littered with like EU officialdom um so perhaps no surprise that there's 82% turnout there given the social weights that the um the EU carries there same in Belgium I think might be part of the reason why the turnout there is so high not sure why it's so high in Malta um again merits more research but again just look at the overall Figures it's overwhelmingly a low turnout people just don't want to know and who can blame them quite frankly so moving on stopping sharing that and moving on to talk more about uh the uh the actual election itself and the results in uh in Germany now I'll just go to navigate back uh to uh the place where I can we can see a summary so I'll just share the screen with you again here okay so here we can see again this is from the uh the eu's official website so uh results are in and are as follows Christian Democrat 30% uh and they they came first the single largest party um the single the single large largest group of seats won afd come with 15.9% um just over well half of the votes of the wise of the CDU social Democrats come in third behind afd not as surprised they've been stagnating and declining for years their victory in the 2021 um uh German Federal elections was well more due to the ineptitude of the CDU CSU that it was a ringy endorsement of Olaf the cuck uh the greens 11.9 they lost quite a bit again they are of course a relatively new organization having broken away from Linker fdp 5.2 they lost a bit dinker full below the 5% threshold and um only with 2.7% and that's 2.7% more than they deserved then you got a bunch of minor parties below that but the thing that everybody is focusing on is of course the uh the the Breakthrough of alternative for deuts though it must be said they already held 11 seats so they went up to 15 but I think the the significant thing is they did even better in their their Heartland which is of course the old East Germany the old DDR now I will need to dive in more into the um the results to see exactly who voted for the afd and where and in in in in what kind of numbers but the rise of the afd and other more straightforwardly fascist organizations in the in the East again shouldn't exactly be a surprise um this is the um this is the end result of many decades of um Decay and um collapse in the old East it's like you you s talk about this to people people say oh well look how much the German government has spent on uh integrating the East now the issue here is that they didn't uh of course spend an awful lot of time actually integrating the east of the country what they spent time doing was of course um asset stripping and destroying East German industry placing large numbers of people on unemployment insurance so basically the German equivalent of the Dole um as the East has had a persistently higher level of unemployment than the west but also when this integration took place or I should say when this counterrevolution and takeover took place the um the West in general not just West Germany but the the Western Europe the Western system of imperialism was already on the decline so this reincorporation of uh the old DDR into the FG the old federal republic um it happened at a time when there was already a steep decline going on so German industry even though of course German industry is it was and is much stronger than Britain because of course German industry got comprehensively rebuilt after World War II British industry limped on with Victorian ER and machinery for many years after World War II uh as part of its longer term decline into de-industrialization as by the way predicted by Marx as early as capital Volume 2 as I've said many times before so the uh the the way in which the the uh the AF has grown in a situation of long surprise um this is what happens when uh socialism uh not only suffers a defeat but suffers a generational C and you have a again a very fargoing counterrevolution destroy uh the legacy of revolutionary socialism of the the Revolutionary proletariat in Germany all of that Legacy gets um severely damaged destroyed or almost wiped out and again the same thing has happened in in all of the imperialist countries you have this Furrow goinging counter Revolution and dinker and the uh the PDS which it grew out of and all the other different um Social Democratic experiments that have gone on over the last 20 years to 30 years in Germany since reunification haven't managed to restore um the militant traditions of the German proletariat at all just as the same experiments here or similar experiments here haven't helped restore the militant traditions of the British working class either um all of these things have ended up in Failure so where there has been a furgo counter Revolution there has only been Bourgeois politics available for over 30 years now and there is no real action to to um no real action on on a nationwide level from uh workingclass organizations such as of course most prominently the Trade union movement to reassert or reinstitute basic class politics then all that's left out there is the Bourgeois and the various different Bourgeois factions and here we come to what the afd are the afd are best seen as a uh split-off faction from the German Bourgeois um supported by large numbers of the German Petty bouris in working class um but that it is essentially a minority faction of the Bourgeois who are behind the afd and they I say a minority because the bulk of the German bour doesn't want some of the things that the afd want they don't want to for instance leave the Euro so that's how I would view the afd they are a product of Bourgeois politics they're Triumph in the east of Germany is down to the fact of the that that part of Germany's asset stripping by the way industrialization long-term unemployment long-term degeneration and despair in the population all of that is the breeding ground for these um more right-wing Bourgeois factions and it's the breeding ground for them to be able to exploit these contradictions in a way that uh the left has been able to but for a variety of reasons which we will come on to uh in just a moment but it's important to just take a quick look at well what is it that the afd actually stands for um and here we will need to uh go to uh the uh the afd's own site so I'm going to navigate over there and just to show show you some highlights of um what the the reasons why the afd receives a a a negative response from the uh the German Bourgeois uh the bulk of the German bourge I should say so here we can see I'm on the uh the afd's own site this is just run limited uh knowledge of German um it seems fair accurate to me if any German speakers are watching feel free to correct so there's a lot of you can tell tell that the afds formed from various different um different Bourgeois traditions e the European States themselves as it says there I'll quote directly from the piece the USA says The afd Remains the most important Ally for us however National Defense must be largely guaranteed in independently by the European States the afd rejects the creation of an EU army or the use of German Armed Forces for foreign interests relaxation in relations to Russia is a prerequisite for lasting peace in Europe for the afd it is in the German interests to involve Russia in an overall security structure without neglecting its own interest and those of our allies The afd Advocates the end of the sanctions policy economic cooperation with Russia is to be deepened turkey's membership of NATO must be ended and all cash benefits granted directly and indirectly to Turkey under International multilateral and bilateral agreements Must Be Stopped immediately the afd rejects turkey's assession to the EU and calls to the immediate end of all assession negotiations well our last one's an unnecessary demand because the EU is never going to allow turkey in never and even erdogan has worked that out by now um but we'll come to their anti-muslims rhetoric in just a moment but I want to focus on this because this element here which I've just highlighted this is the reason why a lot of people in this supposed the sort of multi-polar sphere of media are getting excited about the afd and here I want to sound a um a warning for those people that are the call for the relaxation in sanctions on Russia um of course stems from Bourgeois interests in Germany who have been affected by the the rising Energy prices um and this of course um hurts the bottom line so they they don't they don't want these policies to continue and this has led some people to say that the Germans are committing suicide speaking uh by backing up the the us-led sanctions policies and that um the uh the old leadership under Merkel favored some kind of deal with the Russians I will say that um this is all wishful thinking and this doesn't understand the nature of Germany as an imperial power now let's be absolutely clear Germany reemerged as an imperialist power after the federal republic was formed in the later 1940s and again resumed imperialist exploitation of especially nations in Africa southeast Asia South America um into the 1950s and 60s so Germany West Germany was recreated as an imperialist power or be it one playing a subordinate role to the United States so that's one thing you have to understand now some in the afd some of the interests behind the afd will as I said be from the probably from the lower German Bourgeois who aren't quite as Linked In so to speak with the American system in terms of their particular business interests but they are still very much on board with Germany as an imperialist power and the talk about relaxation of relations with Russia this is um should we say uh a merely a different approach to achieve the same ends so the afd uh want to end the sanctions policy and reach a deal with the Russians which the current uh balance of forces inside the German ruling class is clearly hostile to why is the the the why are the German ruling class hostile to that as a whole because if they weren't if they if they weren't on board with the war in Ukraine if if they weren't on board with the first of all the the proxy war against uh eastern Ukraine against donbas and now with the proxy war against Russia then the German ruling class could have made their presence felt made their feelings known privately very forcefully and very strongly the fact is that the reason why Merkel uh confessed that she was never serious about the Minsk cords and was it was always designed as a trick to ens snare the Russians and now and this was never meant to be a serious negotiation and this is showing it is a showing of The Hand to use an expression from uh card games it's a showing of the hand because it reveals what the German ruling class interest actually is which is again like riding along with the American imperialist interests which is that they had a shared interest in seeing the Russians defeat and ultimately seeing the the Putin Le system removed and seeing Russia reduced again to playing the role of a semic colony of the US in particular but the collective West should we say the collective Imperial Powers that's what Merkel was actually after it's what orand was actually after it's why the Germans and the French were all are all in and remain to a certain extent in even with some reservations now on the the war in Ukraine because Germany hoped the German ruling class hoped that they could benefit from the break up and or the destruction of the Putin system and the ability to um uh rape and plunder their way across Russia as uh the West did in the 1990s that's what the the German ruling class were are actually want and it's why they're as all in or were as all in um as the the British and the American Americans themselves with regard to the regime change War they were ultimately waging against the Russians using the ukrainians to do so it's why they remain committed to it to a certain extent doubts beginning to emerge so this understanding that the afd and their their Fanboys in the west have that this is all against German interests this is wrong German ruling class interests the interests of the German Bourgeois are completely aligned with the interests of the US in this case in terms of getting the um in terms of uh undermining and destroying the current Russian system and being able to plunder Russian natural resources exploit Russian labor Etc in an unrestricted fashion the German ruling class is as much in on that as the US ruling class is and the British are so this idea that this was against German interests or um this she's just simply wrong first of all there's no such thing as um in imperialist powers that is as national interests there are such things as only class interests so when somebody says oh well you we need to stand up for German national interests well the current ruling class are they're standing up for their interests they're of course the Bourgeois regard themselves as the universal subjects they regard themselves as the masters of any of all Nations that they are that they rule then of course they see it as being in their interests to uh destroy the current government and system of the Russian Federation it's not in the proletariat's interest it's not in the interest of the German worker it's not in the interest of the British worker they would not gain from the loot plundered out of a destroyed um Russia if the imperialist got their way that again that period has long gone any looting that went on would go solely into the pockets of the less than 1% that constitute the ruling class but again to say it's as the afd do it's against German interests to um to uh the sanctions regime on Russia that is an incorrect way of putting it of course the the correct way to put it is it is against the interest of the German worker to do this for the German Bourgeois if the policy was successful they hoped to gain a great deal about it a a great deal um a great deal from this um so this is uh the an important thing to understand now as to the relaxation of Rel relations with Russia this is what where the afd um would be essentially actually learning something from the old vly Brandt period uh which is where Brandt um went after uh Dayton an understanding with the Soviet Union why because he was a great man that was politician who realized there was an opportunity there with the the increasingly weak and aimless leadership within the Soviet Union breev to actually low in um the Soviet Union to um create more economic ties and bind the Soviet Union into the Western system and thus be able to influence the Soviet system that way and indeed br's policy the Soviet Union more to doing business with the Federal Republic of Germany you undermine the position of Eastern Germany straight away the DDR and you build up support for a reunification of Germany on Bourgeois Lines within the Soviet system by doing all these deals over oil and gas which they were doing all the way back in the 1970s starts with Brun and most of the German Chancellor the West German chancellors who followed after him largely continued with that tradition albe it with some rhetorical differences but the idea did was successful in terms of brown realized that the revisionists in charge of the USSR wanted desperately to do business wanted desperately to pursue a pro capitalist line and he wanted to give them the opportunity to do so the afd is doing the same thing the afd's policy with regard to relaxation of relations with Russia as they say is essentially um a maneuver by a by a slightly different faction within the German ruling class rather than the outright confrontation which has been led by what the British and the US imperialists principally and the German ruling class has gone gone along with the afd's section of the B clearly favors the old willly bran strategy which is that it would be better to again bind the Russians into the European system have them be used as essentially just purely a source for uh raw resource extraction uh encourage them to have like the USSR was encouraged to be um to go over to a mono economy of oil and gas extraction and also while you're at it hope to established German companies in in in Russia in a way that what hasn't been possible for 10 years and seize back some of that market share they've lost so again the afd's aim is essentially the same as the German ruling class um and their current dominant political factions of the SPD and the CDU it's to still subordinate Russia and control it via the the combined Western system the combined imperialist system use it as a source of raw resource extraction it's just that the afd favored doing that via deals Allah Brandt rather than open confrontation Allah well Merle and Schultz so this is the actual reality in my view of the afd's policy it's just a different way of achieving the same aim persuasion and subtlety rather than open hostility and I think the Russians would do well to be very wary of characters like the afd and other right-wing forces as well that keep talking about oh well we need uh we need to have peace we need to do a deal with the Russians and you get various chances in sort of multi-polar media going on about how great it would be if there was peace and uh Russia and Germany could utopian babbling reactionary nonsense uh in reality the afd are just as much in favor of the subordination of Russia as Olaf Schultz is again they just favor doing it in a different way let's move on to um the area where the afd of course um attracts the the um which is of course the uh the the question of the EU I'm just going to uh reload the page here bear with with me for just a moment so right so here we've got uh the uh next page uh which is all about uh Euro and the Euro zone now this is the reason why the bulk of the German ruling class have uh Gone towards um because they've got quite a clear policy that is hostile to the euro Zone and the EU in it it current form so um further membership in the Euro zone is uh it says Priceless for Germany I think that that is probably a bad translation of um value L for Germany or worthless for Germany um the the policy reads as follows the business basis of the Euro was no liability for the debts of other countries and no government debt over 60% of the respective gross domestic product these rules have been destroyed Germany must therefore terminate the transfer Union and leave the Euro area which is quite a again a clear and bold policy similar to what um the um the Italian right- wiers were were saying a few years ago if you remember the uh the league of Nord um northern league in Italy and their allies were saying similar things about the need for Italy to leave the EU again um Maloney had had said leave talks about leaving the Euro at certain points not come true um Maloney just as the the previous right-wing government bent to the uh to to the current system of alliances that are uh that govern Italian imperialism just as the afd would in Germany by the way but they are talking at the moment about the need to leave the Euro now they talk about the the original rules to the euro being destroyed the original rules for the Euro again these are over well nearly 30 years old now but they were destroyed as soon as they were written because originally the uh the European single currency was meant to exclude again like anybody with a high debt to DP ratio this was all changed um because if they did stuck to that then they would not have been able to admit Greece or Italy or Spain or Portugal to the euro Zone never mind the um the Eastern European countries who were formerly socialist countries so why did they change those rules and why did they um dump them over 25 years ago now in order that they could get Greece in well the truth lies again in the interests principally but not exclusively of German imperialism German imperialism looked at the um looked at the the The single currency is a gigantic essentially trade opportunity um an opportunity to export Commodities and capital anywhere in Europe without restriction now they used the breaking down of the remaining trade barriers that the Euro Euro Zone represents uh to flood um markets such as Greece with their manufactured goods driving an awful lot of Greek manufacturing out of business and this was all very much in the interest of the German ruling class so for you know German Bourgeois to turn around and start pissing and moaning about this now is a bit Rich considering that they did very well out of being able to use the euro uh to batter down any remaining trade barriers to destroy other country's manufacturing Industries and to uh reduce uh the working class in a lot of these areas to abject poverty that's all a a scheme that was embraced by the German ruling class so again let's let's be clear about who benefited here it was the ruling class in Germany they're the reason why the rules were changed if the German ruling class had not wanted to change the rules along with the French to um then the rules would not have changed but the whole purpose of the Euro was to essentially allow um German imperialism principally but not again not exclusively to extend its economic dominance over um the east of and the south of Europe to completely dominate these areas and again like there's just as the interests of the British ruling class have remained largely the same uh for over a 100 years uh just as um the same as the the German ruling classes interests have remained Sim similar the tactics have changed the way in which these are pursued have changed but the interests remain the same over a 100 years ago what were the interests of the British ruling class uh when it came to Europe it meant that the British ruling class wanted to make sure that no one power could dominate it and that their interests in um Africa in Southeast Asia in India Etc weren't challenged by anybody within Europe the fact that the the German Empire start ger imperialism started to be able to do that challenging um in the later 19th and early 20th century is a lot a big part of the reason why there was a war starting in 1914 so the interests of the British in Europe really are all about making sure that Europe remains uh disunited as far as and that the British can essentially strike balances or strike um deals of various different players and play off the most powerful states against each other as always been the tactics of the British ruling class when it comes to Europe the German ruling class again coming into the world as the unified German ruling class after 1870 uh with the Final Phase in bismar unification project being the Franco Prussian War they of course tried to expand into Africa and Southeast Asia only to find that the British and the French had monopolized all these areas before them and it was the attempt of the German ruling class to break out of this um strangle hold the British and the French had on the rest of the world markets that ultimately leads to World War I now the um the German ruling class in World War I what are the what what are their aims they pursue a policy of attempted expansion into the East principally guess what Ukraine um that was a big aim of the German ruling class in World War I it was an an aim pursued with even more aggressive and brutality in World War II and Europe as a market um to dominate becomes the aim or one of the aims of the German ruling class after World War II after they'd been reorganized as West Germany and this goes of course hand inand with the fact that imperialism is decaying and so if the Germans are able to get an unlimited labor pool from all the way across Europe if they're able to Outsource certain elements of manufacturing to places like um Bulgaria or or Croatia um and get a better rate of return on exploiting workers there than that's all for the good if they're able to use a single currency to dominate the markets of the entirety of Europe with their manufacturing manufactured goods then again again this is all uh is German imperialism thus which has been the driving force for the EU for most of its expansion now they're not going to let in the Turks for a variety of reasons but they let in everybody else and again it's all in the interest of the dominant ruling classes within the EU again there is a nonsense thesis going around that it's somehow the EU official them itself which is behind the all the expansions of the European Union this is again not true um the expansion of the EU is something which is principally in the interest of the German ruling class secondarily in the interest of the French ruling class and the Amer the US imperialists are involved as well they have an ambiguous and contradictory attitude towards the EU uh which is really expressed on their behalf by their British allies who were in the EU principally to make sure that it didn't develop into something that was more cohesive and unified but even that is something which is always um sat uneasily with the German ruling class um the the French ruling class or a large section of them were much more keen on a um on a unified Europe on a unified European Army I mean this was an these were ideas that deal was playing with over 60 years ago and various French presidents have taken up since then including macron himself but again the the fact that the the German ruling class also remains Allied often une easily with the U the US the US which of course plays the role of an occupying power in Germany to this day um still um casts a long Shadow over German bour politics so Germany is an imperialist power but is's an imperialist power that is held in a subordinate role forcefully by the United States to a certain extented States can't come out and just you know reduce Germany to a colonial status that's not something that they can do but they're very keen that German manufacturing never challenged um us Primacy I mean this was this was a big concern of the us back in the 70s and the ' 80s just as it was a concern of the US in the ' 80s and early 90s that Japanese manufacturing was going to overhaul them the US imperialists have a complicated relationship with their various uh allies and those areas those countries in the world which they still have extensive occupation forces within they want these states to be viable but they don't want them to be able to compete against us uh business interests and so you have this constant Push Pull effect with regard to the relationship with Germany Japan but also like smaller country like South Korea now the point in all this is that um the the afd raising the point about the need to leave the EU that's the biggest problem that the German ruling class have with them um all the rest of the stuff like I mean the Russian stuff would probably be negotiated away in any coalition deal but it's the antiu stuff which is for the the German ruling class that is the principal problem um what the afd don't of course realize or don't want to talk about is the fact that the uh they're talking about German liability for uh foreign Banks uh German liability for foreign debt Etc uh Etc um now the um the big laugh here is that the the German banks uh were were merkel's primary concern uh and that is one of the primary reasons why Greece was told and both Pap andreo and then Cyprus um you have to continue paying off this debt why because it's German banks and French banks and Dutch Banks but we're principally concerned here with German banks that are heavily exposed to this debt so if the Greeks stop crisis in Germany itself so like you get like these um reactionaries in the afd whining and complaining about what the Euro costs Germany well the euro is ger German imperialism's Meal Ticket just like you get like Trump and lower Bourgeois reactionaries in the United States moaning about how uh we're getting ripped off by everybody whilst ignoring the fact that the dollar Supremacy is like the the US ruling classes it's one of the US ruling class's biggest Tools in securing and maintaining their dominance so again this is all like the moaning of the lower end of the Bourgeois ignoring the fact that the the the higher end in the ruling class benefits enormously from all from all of these institutions which the lower end of the bouro and the petty Bourgeois complain about because they don't benefit quite as much from them now final Point here to just tackle afd on immigration and here I want to contest The Narrative about the afd uh being like uh you know strictly speaking far right uh because once we get present ER German uh benef enormously from extracting wealth from Africa via uh dis advantageous trade terms for the African nations but also by trying to keep African nations into um mono economies into like mono agricultural economies where again raw resources can be extracted and then um imported into Germany or any the some of the other European countries where they're manufactured into Commodities and then sold so like Germany is at the center the German ruling class are at the center of schemes to keep the African nations underdeveloped and so all this winging about Africa that these Petty reactionaries in the afd engage in again he's he's hypocritical bloviating like the German ruling class have benefited enormously from the underdevelopment of Africa perhaps not as much as the British or the French but they have and they continue to do so to this day and then they you the these Petty reactionaries turn around and piss and moan about like African migration saying oh well they're not being oppressed not being able to earn anything because your economy is a again like a mono culture a a mono economy designed around raw resource extraction or has been turned into sort of Mad Max Land by the the scams and schemes of the Germans the French the British the Americans that seems pretty oppressive to me so you know the afd man seriously um no time for them any more than I it's um it's migration that's what's taking the country away from us the proper answer is that the country should belong to us to all of us as the working class but it does not and never did so moving on the tradition this we now get into the traditional area of right-wing birth rate um um you know white people aren't having too as as many babies as they should Panic as the EUR European population ages and shrinks the population in Africa and the Arab Muslim countries explodes by 2050 the population of Africa including all Arab countries is forecast to double to 2.4 billion Europe's population on the other hand will change uh by 50 to approximately 540 million of heard of him will be over 60 years old Africa is a poor house in relation to Europe and America well I wonder why that is again he's lying Hypocrites uh for both reasons the population growth in Africa and the wealth Gap to Europe there is enormous migration pressure which has dimensions of a migration of peoples in absolute terms there are currently around 350 million people willing to migrate mostly young men by 2050 that number will increase to 950 million again I don't know where they're pulling these numbers out from um against this background of this problem there's obvious the migratory movements from Africa to Europe can stabilize our continent in a few years well again like displace U talk about uh distraction politics um so they talk then about the the removal of guarantees over um you know Asylum for persecuted individuals which in a weird way they do raise a correct point there which is like the the basic law around persecuted individuals this was u a law that was dreamed up as an anti-communist measure to allow migration uh out of um Eastern Germany that's what that law was dreamed up to do um and they say under today's conditions of mass globalized migratory movements they promised The Impossible they cannot be maintained well the fact is that the German ruling class wants to maintain them I mean the reason why you've had large scale migration into Germany over the last decade is precisely because of German imperialism German imperialism in two senses one the German imperialist role in plundering and destroying countries in Africa and also countries like um uh well countries like Libya German ruling class were all in on that war countries like Syria again Merkel was all in on that war and then took between 750,000 to a million Syrian refugees in specifically for the purpose of furthering that those War aims making sure that the the the drain of the population out of Syria continued so the reason why people are on the road um heading to places like Germany is because the German ruling class have played such an active role in the destruction of their countries again afd ain't going to mention that anytime soon so that but does this constitute like this policy um and you can see the rest of the uh the stuff there I'll get to the anti-islam stuff in just a moment um do these policies um about you know restricting Asylum seeking um applications removing like um certain aspects of the German basic law from 1949 does all this Con itute like um fascism or uh farri stuff and I would say the same as I would have I say about farage in Britain no it just constitutes an extension of the the politics of the imperialist parties as they currently stand I mean the the so-called debate in Germany over migration has been going in this direction for many years like the afd if we just turn to the Islam thing for a moment where they say Islam is not part of Germany uh but then they sort of qualify that a little bit by saying it's an an Islam that doesn't respect our our legal system etc etc they engaging like the uh the typical like anti- uh anti-islamic Panic shall we say um about construction of mosks Etc again completely playing into the over the last like 20 to 30 years the reason why you have mosques being constructed by Foreign donors not just in Germany but in Britain as well is because this was all something that the the the ruling classes in both countries specifically like the security services in both countries were fully in favor of like they were fully in favor of the promotion of wahhabism against amongst certain sections of the Muslim population in Britain same in Germany because these people were foot soldiers for imperialism the afd continued to sling this Clash of civilizations crap about the Muslims taking over Etc uh the Muslims undermining our precious freedoms things like that whereas in reality like the the cartoon um terrorist uh that the afds afd is trying to conjure up in the mind of its voter the these are all things that were created by imperialism to serve imperialism then you get chances like the afd farage Maloney Leen coming along and saying ah look at all these terrorists we need to do something about these damn Muslims whereas these are all situations which imperialism has created of course again afd not being honest with people about that either but then again why would they they are conmen so but even so with that with the anti-muslim stuff it's not too far away from stuff that like ordinary German so-called mainstream standard German politicians say or standard British politicians say the truth is that if the afd are to be considered as like Ultra rightwing then or Ultra reactionary then we have to accurately categorize all of German French or um British Bourgeois politics also as Ultra reactionary because it is like the afd are sort of the a slightly over further to the to the right but the um the nature of Bourgeois politics in the imperialist countries is so incredibly reactionary in incredibly racist uh to its absolute core I mean you look at the way they um they talk about well they talk about the uh predominantly not exclusively Muslim countries you look at the way they talk about the Palestinians these Bourgeois politicians and journalists you look at the way they characterize the Russians or the Chinese it all drips in chauvinism and racism um and civilizational supremacism so if the afd are far right then they're only as far right as the rest of the political system they're just a little bit more open about what they want and they're a little bit more blunt in the way they say it same as Trump like Trump's not an ation from the American political system he's just a slightly more developed variation on reactionary Ultra reactionary Trends within it same with the afd and by Conjuring up this sort of fascism Spectre what they're doing is they're attempting to sort of legitimize the uh the SPD the CDU CSU as somehow bull works against fascism whereas in reality is the fascism comes directly from the Bourgeois class itself and reflected through
