[Applause] [Music] [Applause] same show the same Yes red team from Enfield we have uh it came from when I was ill I couldn't do any other sports and B was the only one I could do because only required him to sit down and you learn about at school yeah so in PE uh when I forget my swimming kit I do buter and I beat everyone well when I was 12 I got diagnosed with cancer stage three and the full term is antastic large soul iner and how long were you fighting that for um can you tell me a bit about the process of your recovery as well yeah well I got diagnosed 2014 when you how old uh 12 12 12 and I was stage three uh I had lymph no which are like lumps around your body that just grow and grow and my at one point my neck was out here cuz it got that big so I had 6 months worth of chemotherapy and then 2 weeks later I had relapsed with stage four same cancer but it spread to my bone so I went on a trial for 7 months and I had a transplant and I'm still Mission now well I couldn't do a lot because I had a tube connected to my heart so I couldn't really do anything in case a ball got booted at me I couldn't get it wet the only sport I could do was voder so that's why I took an interest in it and did research and that's why I'm catting with a buter te do you think that helped you in the process of recovering as well having some of my yeah having to remember my sports is like really important to me so having that in my head all the time helps me get through everything and when it comes to sports I know my limits sometimes I overdo my limits but I still come out of a medal well I have asthma now which I didn't have before um I my body is very weak still which is um it isn't helpful but I still know my limit spor in uh just asthma's really the main side effect I've got from I mean I still have like blood tests and like allergy tests to see if anything else has happened but so far nothing else is happen yet uh last week I did swimming London you games and I came second in my race you think one day you that first I think one day I I want to I want to get that go better name can you just please tell me what it's like the place take it's seeing a young lady who is such warm personality that's overcome so much she was I remember when she came in year 7even and I was almost doing cartwheels thinking this is a girl that I can take and I can mold and push it towards doing the most amazing sportting achievement unfortunately year eight came along and she was diagnosed with a fairly nasty cancer and then it became about what we could do for her so that she could still access SP so we looked at including her in the B team and she was a natural she would go away and look at YouTube videos about tactics and she became the captain it's unusual for a girl that young to be the captain but she had that tactical knowledge and now that she's in remission and she's doing so much better I can't but be so much more proud of her achievements it's very easy to become very disheartened very bitter but she's not she's still the warm giving young lady that she always was to be honest the fact she's alive is the biggest the biggest bonus we could have had to see her come back can compete and take part is amazing
