I think I messed up or maybe it's my iPhone let's see if it's an AT&T outage if your iPhone displays SOS or SOS only it usually means you've lost Cellular Connection this could be due to an AT&T outage first visit down detector and check AT&T's outage map this will tell you if there's a service disruption in your area you can also check Verizon and T-Mobile outages there in SOS mode your iPhone can still make emergency calls and share your location with Services handy right to troubleshoot try toggling airplane mode or restarting your device you can also add emergency contacts in your settings to keep them in the loop stay informed stay connected and remember it's not always your phone's fault
