I can't get any more Florida than that. Hey, uh taking a look at that tropical outlook. It it is the start of meteorological autumn but uh we are still not even at the peak of hurricane season yet here. Friends. In fact, that's on September 10th. And uh typically we have a named storm system out there and we probably will at that time because we have this one that has a moderate risk in the next seven days of some sort of tropical development here in the Caribbean between uh Puerto Rico all the way out here towards Yucatan Peninsula, another area just along the coastline of Texas. Not terribly worried about that. A big rain maker out there in the parts of Texas over towards Louisiana and also this area well out towards the eastern Atlantic. For us. Locally, we have a little bit of a trough just towards our south located just off the coast of uh Daytona. This is lifting towards the north and I do expect this. We go ahead through this evening and especially into tomorrow, we're gonna have some increasing uh showers here starting south of I 10 out towards Flagger county into Saint John's and eventually lifting towards the north right now. Uh, plenty of cloud cover offshore. A few scattered showers. So if you gonna be doing a bit of boating, just wanna be dodging uh those areas of rainfall through this afternoon though, those might become thunderstorms. So we get some of that daytime heating. Just kind of see what I'm talking about though. Towards our southeast. Here comes that plume of moisture kind of lifting towards the north, our southern county seeing that higher chance of the precip and a few passing showers even this afternoon through the evening into the downtown Jacksonville area. So if you wanna get out, let's say, maybe you wanna go for a little bike ride temperatures into the mid eighties with that chance of rainfall picking up around noon to about two o'clock, that plume of moisture coming in from the south and that's gonna really continue through this evening. It's gonna feel like 100 before that arrival of any rainfall as temperatures get up to about 91 with that added humidity sunset tonight at 7:49 p.m. So Saint John's Fleger County, you are in the higher chance of that precipitation this afternoon through the evening, might have come in a few local uh thunderstorms and the forecast the Labor Day, a high of nine increasing chances of showers too. As this high pressure ridge towards our east weekends, we have this front pushing in from the north and by midweek, especially Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, this is gonna be lingering here, got a little plume of moisture coming in from the southeast and it's just gonna add together. And yeah, every single day in the forecast, those rain chances are on the up and up. So we're gonna continue to watch out for that if you wanna go somewhere. It feels autumn like that is back towards north and west though, drier, continuing to try to fight in. But for us, for the time being, it will not get here. So for now, it's probably one of the last good days of relatively dry weather on the first coast before we start to get back into this weather pattern.
