going to jump in and all that kind of a fancy new open we got for you it really is all right here we go hair if someone were to say Josh Allen after having four touchdowns in week one is on his way to winning MVP of the League this year what does d Fox Say oh yeah take it to the bank I think that he's a player who's been kind of tiptoeing around this MVP trophy for a while now and probably deserves it at some point and this season The Narrative for him is we got rid of your receivers and now you're here all alone what are you going to do in this situation he's going to put up big numbers he's going to have highlight plays in Prime Time games Josh Allen I think is probably the front runner for MVP and that guy that you saw on that highlight there was Keon Coleman another thing we didn't get to Sunday on countdown is that Randy Moss loves him and thinks he has a chance to become even as a rookie an outstanding combination Jeff with Josh Allen just that quickly absolutely I I think that it's it's there the problem for me is these kind of plays is how healthy can you stay absolutely that's the listen I I'm all that's how Buffalo is gonna have to win but man how long can you play with that way see what he doesn't need to be jumping and flipping and having his his his wrist exray after one week of the Seas I'm beyond that I'm beyond it because that's who he is we're not going to change him that's just who he we just got to live with these type of plays from Josh Allen he is who he was when you met him you loved him for it love them but let's can we do it at the like the last third of the season I mean no no yes we what you trying to change this man you can't change it every time I've ever asked Josh Allen about running less he always says the exact same thing it's whatever takes to win a game yeah and that's how he's going to be understood and he needs not to get hurt okay next one if someone were to say the Giants should bench Daniel Jones this quickly what does def fox say who cares oh already started you just drew lock like that's I mean honestly I think you can make an argument that Daniel Jones hasn't gotten a fair Shakes You could also easily make the argument that he's not good enough it's a bad situation I don't think that anybody any Giants fans are like you know what the answer to this problem is Drew lock like they are they are still a pretty bad situation let's just focus on a positive Malik neighbors awesome yeah he's good you did that right you got a good receiver he's awesome you know what that's like that's like putting really fancy rims on a car that doesn't have an engine okay Daniel Jones has thrown I hate to say this well I don't hate to say it it's just an accurate statistic from the moment he got his contract extension Daniel Jones has thrown more touchdowns to the opposing team than he has to his own that is an accurate statistic he got $160 million extension since that time he has thrown three pick sixes including that one and two touchdowns I'm not making an argument to bench him I'm merely suggesting I understand why people might ask they're so mad at him look how they made him dress what is like honestly god what have the Giants done here yeah that's Gila Flur that we're seeing I mean they're wearing the Montreal Canadian sweaters seriously like like some sometimes you can look at some teams that played badly in week one and say oh look there's hope it's week one not them right they're the they may be the worst team in it was ugly they're in the Panthers two two games that you just you cringed watching the game the issue for me with Daniel Jones is you you Barkley's gone right that was their that was their only salvation when it came to their offense hand it off and pray to God nothing bad happens this is you know de B what he did with Daniel Jones a couple that's what they're going to have to find this is this is this is ugly and I don't see it changing saquon Barkley who they basically chose Daniel Jones ahead of scored three touchdowns on Friday Daniel Jones hasn't thrown three touchdowns going back to the beginning of last season that these are just facts I don't take any joy in saying them okay one more Dominique if someone were to say the cowboys after their dominating performance are legit Super Bowl contenders what does def fox say yes they are like I I said before the season that I didn't think they were but of the most impressive wins we've seen this weekend this was one of the more impressive wins this was a playoff team a great defense a loaded team they went in there and dismantled them on the on the road so I agree with every I mean I agree with myself my preseason analysis this team is weaker and worse but you have to react to what you're seeing and what we saw was them beat down a pretty substantial opponent Jeff help me with that game that was a very I too was completely wrong on that I thought be much better deshun Watson was absolutely terrible and that's part of the story here but I thought that Cleveland defense would give Dak and Company a very hard time what did you see yeah M McCarthy did a great job of of of basically blocking out miles Garett saying Hey listen he's not going to control the game we have a young tackle we're going to fix it we're going to help and they did and and you think about they put a lot of pressure on Dak and he answered the call see lamb answered the call like all their best players did what they had to do but give McCarthy a lot of credit man he had he designed a a a really good game plan they executed it my issue with them when you talk about them being Super Bowl contenders can they carry that same weight throughout an entire season when you look at the when you look at the Lions you look at the Eagles even you look at San Francisco from last night I just don't know that I put them quite there yet but but they played a fantastic game on what do you think T would yeah listen you know it's funny we had the conversation about the Jets and and and we talked about the coaching stuff look what Mike McCarthy did like good coaches put your players in positions to be successful that's what happened in the game against Cleveland you identify your problem area you solve it and then your play and your big time players go out there and make plays to be to be fair mil Garrett isn't the only problem they got Zer Smith on the other side they got great corners but I'm pointing out that it wasn't just good coaching like they had players who made plays too cuz it's not it's not as if the only player on the Browns the Browns had quite possibly the best defense in football last year so uh scheming around uh miles Garrett is one step the other step is beating these other good players which the Cowboys players did that and also the new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer good I mean good start for him obviously Browns are banged up we talked about it last week at tackle and obviously Watson uh I don't know what's going on there but but uh yeah the D the Dallas Cowboys I think are my concern is like is their depth right like because you see Brandon Cooks go out of the game he came back in you see Jake Ferguson go out of the game you wonder like are they a little too thin up top I know you know they got a rookie left tackle who I guess has played pretty well right rookie at Center so so you do want because so often the season comes down to like you know like how good is your backup Right Guard right like like and and so I wonder about that but but right now when they have their guys on the field yeah there's good as anybody shame is they can't win the division because they won it last year [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
