Intro good morning thanks for tuning in for our exciting announcement today is the day we get to reveal the 2024 class of Rising Star Award winners I'm Amy Gilligan executive editor of the Presentation Telegraph heral and I'm Mike fortman publisher of th media so the first year we ever gave out the rising stars award was 2003 more than 20 years ago were you a rising star back in the day Mike uh no it's not uh you you were kind of on the bubble we weren't sure if you were aiming for stardom yeah well that still remains to be seen what about you Amy were you a rising star uh no I think I was pretty much having babies I have no memory of the early 2000s that's good excuse well we have a great class oh that's supposed to be you we have a great class of Award winners this year so for more than two decades we've been honoring outstanding young leaders highlighting people under 40 who are the up incomers in their field and are giving back to the community at the same time our rising star awards are presented by Biz times.
