Washington Football - Spring Practice Day 11: Dempsey Indoor

inside the Dempsey indoor for day 11 of Washington Spring practice it was raining outside but that meant an even closer look at this football program we started out with the offensive line that's o line coach and offensive coordinator Brenan Carroll with Pocky F now hitting the sled right there and then it's c f solo Aiden Anderson Parker cross and khit TFI hit and sled in order this is a group that only has nine or 10 guys available and healthy this spring they're looking to gain at least five more players in the portal that's what Jed fish told us they already got one from Portland State that's D'Angelo T Al at the interior offensive line could be a center for Washington and then it was another up close look at the safties coming at us right here Dyson McCutchen number 21 and then it's Tristan Dunn number 12 coming in on this next drill right here he had an interception at practice jumped route made a really good play during 11 off and then we got a look at the quarterbacks making some throws on the Run Will Rogers and Deon Williams true freshman quarterback Demarcus Davis was not present at this practice he ended up entering the transfer portal today a decision that makes sense for him with the way this quarterback room has been developing with Will and DeMont and then it's some quarterback passing drills rashed Williams coming into the frame he had two impressive touchdown receptions from Deon Williams during 11on at practice and there's the speed of Jason Robinson coming right at us and then a couple of running back passes Dean Williams going to Adam mohammd right here these are two true freshman here we go with the presumed starters Will Rogers getting it to Jonah Coleman after practice we spoke to running backs coach Scotty Graham he spoke highly of Adam Muhammad a kid who is a true freshman still 17 years old playing really well this spring I'm like I want he's not going to be a liability he worked so hard so Cam Davis in full pads for practice but he's still recovering from his injuries suffered last year during fall Camp he told us he'll be 100% this year for fall Camp you know I'm in the class A Lot watching the plays the find way to get a lot of work we also talked to Arizona transfer running back Jonah Coleman the presumed rb1 for Washington next season more on my questions with him in another video but this guy's really playing well this spring you don't want to get in his way you know fans are buts I feel like um we can be back to where we left off
