I absolutely cannot believe what I just saw from tonight's Dodger game wow I just can't believe it hey this is Mike Nelson of Dodgers digest make sure to subscribe to the Channel I want to thank the get right into it of course the Dodgers had a big W tonight 10 to8 over the chicag Chicago Cubs but wow I mean are you still there after after this game I mean this was just an insane ball game to say the least you know this could go up there with a you know game of the year if you're a neutral fan but you know if you're uh just a uh a Dodger fan which I hope you are if you're a Dodger fan there's a whole Whirlwind of emotions after this game U because there's just so much to think about so much to digest um in a 10 to8 win in a game that meant you know means so much for the Dodgers right because the Dodgers um you know knew that Arizona had already won earlier today and you know San Diego lost tonight so there was a lot on the line for the Dodgers daughters could potentially really put themselves in a tight spot had they gotten swept by the Cubs uh but of course that's not the case daughters are able to get a w um and now are are in a much better POS position right with a five game lead on Arizona and a 5 and a half game lead on San Diego so just a massive win but you know the daughters prove once again they got the best offense you know maybe in ba you know in baseball history I mean come on I mean this team just cannot go wrong offensively and you know now they got Tommy Edmond who's had four home runs in the last two games he ends up hitting the two-run Homer that ends up being the the you know the gamewinner for the Dodgers right because the Dodgers you know of course LED um 8 to7 going into that bottom of the eighth inning and edman hits a two-run shot to make it 107 and well you know what happened in the ninth daughters almost blew that but um Tommy Edmond this guy four you know what is it four RBI tonight couple homers wow just just that's clutch hitting you know of course tonight was uh batting sixth in the lineup but you know just shows you how you know the bottom of the lineup is really contributing for the daughters and you know Max Muny bobblehead night of course tonight had a home run and you know I want to go back to that first inning Dodgers you know what is it four home runs in the first inning and get out of here I mean you just can't go wrong with that and the Dodgers are just the most exciting team to watch um and it's a it's really just just a you know of course offensively speaking this you don't you just don't know what this team is going to do night in night out right you just don't know what kind of players who's going to contribute that's what makes it so exciting because you know the Dodgers have arguably the best player in baseball right now is showy Otani but then they got you know Muki bets and Freddy Freeman and all and and now they also have you know Tommy Edmund who's a home run King hitting home runs and and uh you know everybody out there is contributing and you know going back to you know just the offense itself makes it so dangers is that you know it's hard to really walk around the daughters right you know we saw what happened what last week with uh the Angel game with with uh you know Otani was it um I believe it was Otani being walked to face Mookie Betts if I'm not mistaken uh it's been a while but yeah that that intentional walk you know ends up course costing the Angels this is so hard to you know you know get around these guys there's just so much talent on this team and tonight the daughters prove that they can have of course a poor pitching performance and still find a way to win I think that's what makes the daughters really dangerous they're not playing their best right now and yet they're still finding ways to win now let's get down to it pitching of course is still a major concern from this team and once again Bobby Miller has a you know really bad start once again you know gets charged with six runs gives up a three run Homer to Cody Bellinger on his way out um and it was just it was just rough again I mean Bobby Miller I just don't know man I just don't know how bobby gets on this playoff roster you know can we really trust Bobby Miller to pitch a playoff game and I don't see it I just don't see it right now you know this is now what couple games now against teams that most likely are you know angels are out of the playoffs Bob Miller pitched horribly I was at that game back last week at Angels stadium and then tonight facing against a Cubs team that you know it's fighting right now to get to the playoffs but let's be honest I don't think this team is making the playoffs and for him to once again struggle um you know struggle in the first inning and you know ends up of course you know really falling apart there in the fifth um just I don't know I don't know what you're going to do with Bobby Miller I really don't know you know he's still a young pitcher but I'm just saying I don't you know his career is obviously not over I mean after this season he still has a lot to go a lot to learn but I'm just saying like how do you use how do you utilize Bobby Miller in 2024 for this baseball for the Dodgers team for the daughters this year how do you utilize them that's the question I think you know you have to really ask yourself how how do you utilize a pitcher that unfortunately is just not pitching good um and is not really you know pitching at a major league level I mean it's looking like Bobby Miller is not even ready for the major leagues right now that's what it's looking like I mean I'm I'm sorry if you're a Bobby Miller fan or if I'm being too tough on the guy but I mean the guy does not look like he's ready for the major leagues right now you know making some pretty bad mistakes no control um you know walking batters and just the you know leaving bad pitches and bad spots which is leading to home runs we saw that last week at Angel Stadium and then tonight against uh you know Cody Bellinger I mean that was a terrible pitch you don't not leave a pitch up like that for a hitter like Cody Bellinger we we saw the guy hit so many home runs for us um and I mean there had to be some tape that that probably well I don't know if it's tape anymore but some footage um that Bobby Miller must have been given on Cody Bellinger and you know he he didn't step up for that and you know the bullpen I mean this is just um you know there was a it was a good run there for a bit but Michael copc I mean wow I mean he was able to get through the jam but Cubs had the bases loaded with nobody out in the ninth inning the bases L with nobody out walked three batters and uh you know was was bailed out basically you know of course the Cubs scored a run and it was first and second with the one out and then the Cubs tried to do a double steal against Will Smith who's you know basically um gotten the most he's uh caught the most Runners on base as a catcher in Major League Baseball he leads the league why would you steal on a guy like that on Will Smith you know like Jessica Mendo on the broadcast said Thank You Cubs I mean don't understand what the Cubs are doing there I understand trying to steal the bases again the scoring position but the Dodgers were GIF wrapped that second out and who knows what would have happened if that out didn't happen in that situation because the momentum completely shifted after that let's be honest I mean it was two outs only one runner on now it's just a completely different situation now um and of course the Cubs didn't take advantage after that so yeah that that was a I don't know what kind of move that was from Craig Council right um uh the manager of the of the uh Cubs don't know what that was about um double Steel in that situation yeah well we'll take it thank you Cubs you know one of the Cubs always find a way to lose right I mean come on the guys didn't win for they didn't win a World Series for over 100 years so what can you expect uh anyway show Otani wow home run stolen base what can you say the guy is going to make history fortunately didn't do it at daughter Stadium tonight you know like I mentioned last week he would have really had to have picked it up to uh get that number but you know 48 stolen bases now 47 homers you know probably going to be in Atlanta this weekend when he breaks a record and we're going to cover that for you right here on this channel so you know you don't want to miss out so we're going to have special coverage for that and you know 5050 is on the horizon and it you know the weather looks really bad in Atlanta this weekend so you know we'll see if they get the four games in that's a big question mark I have because the weather does not look good with of course the hurricane that's um you know of course going to be in the area in Florida so yeah the weather doesn't look good a lot of rain in Atlanta and um yeah so Otani probably going to break it this weekend could happen next week uh next week when they go to Florida though to Miami um so yeah just a lot going on Otani is just a beast um lost and all this um but but Dodgers wow get a w it's important thing right and they're on their way you know to a divisional championship I no doubt in my mind now I think this loss would
