Rod arguably the greatest hitter ever lived you've got a crazy Rod Karu story uh was that your rookie year or or after I think second year so tell tell me what happened because I this this cracks me up yeah it's a kind of a motivational story um that I share with people um and that's what I do now when I'm teaching or coaching I'm doing life coaching at solder world and stuff but that's what I do I tell baseball so I think the the best thing you can do to coach somebody is tell them stories about your life absolutely and it's coming from truth and it's like so anyway um Rod crew obviously was seven time American League batting champion and this guy could rain base hits you know when he was up there and uh this particular night I hit four Rockets I mean I thought two of them were home runs they were caught at the fence with the arm up like that I hit a bullet that dug the Cent in third basee that he took his glove off like it went like that and then I hadit a bullet up the middle that Mark blanger snagged and threw me out I'm M for four with four Rockets Rod over a thousand feet of baseball yeah right and then the same night Rod Karu got like five hits and not one of them left the infield not one oh my goodness he dragged buned twice down the third Baseline you couldn't roll him down there any better than he did and he was very fast so he beat him out easily he had two kind of medium ground balls up the middle but they shaded him to to the other side because he hit a lot of balls the opposite field and he beat him both out and the last one Jimmy honestly got hits home plate and goes straight up in the air the Baltimore chop yeah and and the pitcher's waiting for it to come down he catch it throws the first B safe guy got five hits and you're up for four and you've hit them there's no justice in this game man I so I'm sitting in the sun after the game and he happens to walk in and I just said Rod I said that's unbelievable I said it does it rains basic when you're up there and he looks me in the eye and he goes Eric be honest with me do you believe that you're a 300 hitter in the big leagues but what were you hitting at the time 270 um I said r i I really can't look you there and tell you honestly I believe that yet um my second year I'm having a good year to 7 something he said my friend that's why the base hits fall in for me and they don't for you because you know I got to tell you something I don't believe I'm a 300 hitter I know I'm a 300 hitter oh boy is that a difference and the difference between the belief systems that we all have that we've all been conditioned with all of our Lives all of a sudden you you go into this next level this vibrational frequency that's higher in it's a knowing State you believe that's the Zone state that you teach it is and then you expect to do it that's different than know and then believing and then little validation you don't need much to get to a sense of knowing so I just I
