My Thoughts On UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Phase Draw!

now but honestly let me ask you a question is this not what we wanted no let me ask you the question again is this not what we wanted we wanted the Champions League to Champions League now that the champions league is really champions leag in I see people complaining I see people saying oh this new format hold on let me let me sit down one second first things first shout out to everybody Welcome League and Conference League format but for this video specifically we'll keep it to the Champions League I absolutely love the new Champions League format I think it's absolutely sick now when it was first announced there was a lot of confusion about how it actually works and trust me UA done that best to explain it but I think I started to understand it when the draw started and they actually physically started to draw the teams and whatnot that's when I was like hold on a minute this is actually sick now for those who still haven't understood it or for those for those who still don't understand how the new system the new Champions League draw works or how for those who don't for those who still don't understand how the new Champions League format works I should say um basically you're a team right okay no forget what I said so there's a league it's a league now there's no more groups cuz I still see people saying there groups there's the groups are done there's no more group stage no it's done it's finished it's a league now right it's a league of 36 teams and from those 36 teams as a team yeah no matter what pot you're in cuz there's four pots and those four pots can actually be divided into different sort of teams pot one are sick teams right pot one sick teams pot two very good teams pot three average teams pot four I don't want to say dead teams but lowlevel teams right and as a team you're playing against two um you're playing against two sick teams you're playing against two very good teams you're playing against two average teams and you're going to play against two uh lowlevel teams depending on obviously what pot you're in if you're in pot one for example you're not going to play against two top teams but I think you are I might be wrong I might actually be confused myself but from what I remember you're playing against two of each pot right you're playing against two of each pot one home and one away so let's just assume forget what I said let's just assume you're playing against two of each so two sick teams two very good teams two average teams and two low level teams you're playing against two of these uh two of each category let's say two of each category and of those two teams you're playing one home game and one away game and that is determined by that new supercomputer type type stuff so that super computer is determining whether you're playing at home against this team or away against this team so that's how it works if you finish again it's a league there's no group stage if you finish between first first and eth you're through to The Knockout stages that's done if you finish between 16th sorry if you finish between 9th and 24th you're going to have to play playoff games to get into the round of 16 and those games will have to be home and away ties and I guess it's going to be determined again uh by the supercomputer type stuff or against the person that's just below you I guess in the rankings or in in the table and if you finish 20 2th and below so that means 25th down to 36th that means you're done you're going home there's no more dropping down to the Europa League or dropping down to the conference no that's done so that's that it's it's easy really and then from The Knockout stages you guys know how it works so yeah man listen when they started doing the whole um the whole draw I actually liked what I was seeing because how many times and I'm speaking to some of my friends as well that do watch alongs a shout out to every single one of them how many times have I spoken to some of my brethren and they go n I'm not going to do this game it's dead or I'm not going to do this game it's dead I'm not going to cover this game it's boring well all of that's finished now because all we're getting for the most part we're getting some exciting games bro we're getting some exciting games and before I go any further into this I absolutely love the whole buildup you know I have to say man UEFA they've out down they've outdone themselves the whole that little movie that they done where footballers were all of a sudden actors and rodri was there demele was there Kate ABDO Alexandro delpiero uh Gigi Buon the president of the UFA himself who else was there um Ibrahimovic like it was sick I can't lie the whole script was done really well shout out to the director as well they named his name but I forgot what what the name was so um it was sick man it was honestly sick but bro let's get into the nitty-gritty man this is why I say that this format is amazing because do we not want to see the best teams play against each other yes so why would you have to wait for example until the semi-finals to see a proper matchup when you can get it from match day one match day two match day three why wait until I don't know the final to see certain teams face each other when you can have those matchups on Match day one two three so I think that's a very good system that's a very good format to see some of the best of the best go against each other from the get goal for example PSG I'm just going to take some random teams from Po from the pots you from pot one year bro PSG are playing Man City or obviously it's not in chronological order they still have to determine the fixtures and whatnot but PSG are going to play against Man City Bayern Munich Atletico Madrid Arsenal PSV solsburg Jona and stutgart why would you not subscribe or why would you not want to watch a PSG Man City from match day one why would you not want to see that why would you not want to see a a PSG year let's just assume match day 1 2 3 and four and let's just assume it's that um that it's in that order PSG would be playing Man City on the first match day Bayern on a second match day Atletico Madrid on a third match day and Arsenal on the fourth match day that is absolutely sick Bro who wouldn't want that do you know what I mean do you know how many people could you know make pees off this with watchong and whatnot you know just do you get where I'm coming from I think this is a fantastic fantastic new format because we're getting the best of the best face each other off or face off against each other in the Champions League because that's the whole point you qualified for the best club competition in the world and you want to see the best of the best play against each other from the first match day why not do you know what I mean let's go down to pot two actually in pot one Bayern Munich got Barcelona and PSG and imagine if those are the two the first two match days that would be sick do you know what I mean do you see what I mean partt two leveren they've got Inter Milan Liverpool AC Milan atleti and four other teams now again imagine if those four first match days for Leverkusen are Inter Milan Liverpool AC Milan and Atletico Madrid would you not want to watch that of course you would do you see what I mean and hopefully they'll make those games available and not at the same time and whatnot cuz we want to be able to watch some of these Gam games properly um but I can't lie man they on the flip side of it bro they' done some of these teams dirty I mean I'm looking at Club Rouge yeah and I've written it Down Club Rouge champions of Belgium and normally champions of any country you should be able to have some decent teams you're playing against but bro Club Rouge got hit hard Club Rouge are playing against Dortmund Man City Juventus AC Milan Sporting Lisbon Celtic Aston Villa and St grat I mean good luck and I'm going to look forward to watching those games but if you're playing for Club Bru you're thinking Goodness Me Like do you see what I mean bro some of these other teams even the newcomers got hit hard bro I'm saying newcomers but some of them are coming back into the Champions League I'm taking the example of stutgart PSG Real Madrid Atlanta Juventus and other teams but I'm just picking the big ones bro again if you're a St guard fan why would not travel abroad to see that why would you not want to travel abroad to watch that do you get what I'm coming from Bratislava Man City Bayern AC Milan Atletico Madrid come on Jona Liverpool PSG Arsenal AC Milan come on do you see what I mean St brto welcome to the champions league for the first time in their history qualify for the club competition the best club competition in the world they finished third in League G last season and even they got hit hard bro St bris are playing against Real Madrid Barcelona Leverkusen shakar and PSV and other teams of course bro that is brutal but again it's the champions league and I think that's probably the whole purpose of UEFA switching up the whole for format because they're thinking hold on this is the Champions League why would you why would you want to go easy on certain teams because they qualified for the first time in their history no no no no no this is the Champions League and you will face the best of the best so I think that's a fabulous idea man it's a fabulous fabulous idea and I can't wait to be covering some of these games I can't wait to be watching some of those games and create content around those games like you're looking forward to it as a as a content creator because you know oh this game's tasty I'll be able to cover I'll be able to cover this game I'll be able to cover that game I'm looking forward to it man and bro those are just half of the games that I named there are so many more games that I'm looking forward to and I'm sure as fans as well so many more games that that fans
