in place of an injured Christian mcaffrey Jordan Mason balled out against the Jets on Monday night although for him the night didn't finish well he slipped up in an interview saying that he found out he was going to start on Friday this led to him probably getting in trouble he was not happy during his postgame interview it truly sucks that he has to go through that after a big day for him but let's talk about the good and why he was getting all of that media attention he finished the game with 29 touches 152 total yards and one touchdown on the day a lot of people are saying this performance could potentially be the reason as to to why Christian mcaffry didn't win the MVP last season I would say that could be a conversation we can have but Jordan Mason is also just a dog he ran hard and he didn't provide you know the CMC receiving impact but he made a catch he was getting those dirty yards and I think this was the highest amount of carries he had in a game since high school which is wild to think about just what a great performance from him with CMC being out and he definitely has a lot of eyes on him now
