[Music] cam acres and Damen Pierce that is the conversation that is flooding Texans group chat social media all over the place we are going to break down who should be rb2 right here right now what is going on everybody welcome back to a brand new episode of The League your host as always Harley Dugan this is pretty obious is to me and it should be to many others that the running back two position should no longer be held by Damien Pierce I have seen enough I have there is nothing that has been warranted to give Damien Pierce a guarantee for the running back to spot cam Acres was a street free agent came in right before pre-season right before training camp and has taken the position by the horns he just fits the scheme it's as simple as that Damen Pierce does not he just doesn't he he's just he can't plant his feet he takes too many steps uh it just looks slow when he's out there doesn't look pretty people want to give the excuse that the offensive line isn't doing their job in the Run game I'm tired of giving that excuse when it comes to Damian Pierce because I see cam acres and I see everyone else like a British Brooks and a JJ t tlor and a jaor Jordan all run very well in this scheme and they do it the right way is what it feels like at least now yes those guys are not playing with the ones or even some of the twos but at the same time they're playing worse competition and they're still getting good yardage you would think they wouldn't be getting good yardage because they're not running behind the ones in the first place I'm just not here to give myself any more credit for Damen Pierce I'm tired of Damen Pierce I'm not here to give Damen Pierce any credit whatsoever he's got to perform better and mean it's it's old like this this running system does not fit him he is a north south guy and it feels soon that at some point we're getting a trade for Damen Pierce or he might just flat out get cut how much value does Damen Pierce have anyway a seventh round pick I mean maybe someone calls in for that maybe it's the Dallas Cowboys who knows while you're at it guys make sure you are subscribed to the channel we're on the road to 10,000 subscribers again trying to get there before week one of the regular NFL season so if you can make sure let your people know let your family know let them all know who has some of the best Houston sports content it is right here the lead where it's all Houston all the the time so go ahead y'all know the drill smash that like button easiest smash of your life go down in that comment section let me know who are you picking for rb2 is it cam Acres or is it Damen Pearson again this is a pretty obvious decision in my opinion uh Deo Ryans has spoken more about cam Acres he looks very good in this system so far I would like to see him run behind the ones that's what I would like to see um but I don't even think it matters anymore I think from the previous performance against the Giants game and even the Steelers game Damen Pierce hasn't proved that he's changed whatsoever when it comes to running behind this offensive line and this new scheme for him get him somewhere else he fits a different scheme it just not going to work here let's move on cutbait and let's continue on with Cam Acres or Geor Jordan as well you got Daran bua that they value a lot British Brooks has a little bit of value we're not going to get into that conversation I do like what I saw though in that Giants game I will say that and I've liked what I've seen from him in training camp he's a big dude pause but overall I think the conclusion here is Damen Pierce unless he just looks completely different this last game in the preseason as well as the joint practices then I just think the job should be handed to cam ACR and let him get them RB two keys and have him run with it the only thing with Cam acres is injuries the guy stays healthy then I'm okay with it if he can't we got to move on we got to figure out what are we going to do at the running back position as always guys go ashers go Rockets go Texans you have a blessed day
