should Colorado be worried after just beating North Dakota state by just five points last night uh the biggest takeaway for the first game for me from Colorado is if they're going to win games uh they're gonna have to do it with their offense that was the biggest takea away for me shador Sanders 445 yards through the air four TDS an interception that I'm not even going to count off the defender calf muscle uh cam Miller 277 yards through the air another 81 on the ground I apologize I wasn't familiar with this guy's game uh he's a dog that gu a dog he's a dog Jimmy horn 198 receiving yards a touchdown on seven receptions Travis Hunter 132 receiving yards three TDS on seven receptions Matt what are your takeaways from the game last night biggest I I think question mark still for Colorado is going to be that offensive line North Dakota still had a lot of plays where they forced shador to like move and make plays on his feet the offensive line I know that was a big question mark in the offseason but it didn't seem like they've messed well yet maybe give them some time throughout the season but that still looks like a question mark especially in the Run game um the defense as well did not look good North Dakota I mean they moved the ball at will like you said uh Miller had a day yesterday and um yeah they were they were just up and down the field and matching Colorado it what seemed like every time they scored so uh the defense and the offensive line still a question mark especially late in that game with the clock management too uh that was very very interesting throwing the ball when North Dakota state had one timeout late in that game that which they could have ended it way earlier than it needed to be but um I will say the Plus or the the the things to talk about in the positives like you said the team is definitely led by shador and Travis uh those two guys are definitely going to win them games this year the problem is is I don't think they're going to be able to do it every game they can't rely on just those two guys to get the job done so we'll see but I think some of those problems that they showed last night letting a team like North Dakota State not only stay in that game at you know on the road but match them score for score what it felt like and you know just not being able to stop them defensively is a big worry um how do you feel what do you think it's a panic yet do you think I don't think it's a panic I just think Colorado is such in this big Spotlight so everyone expects them to just win every game because Deion Sanders as their head coach and shador Sanders as a quarterback like they're rebuilding from not winning a game they won four games last year um but I'm not worried I think the storyline could be uh pretty different I know they only won by five um but the first drive of the second half where that that interception happens with shador off the uh off the calf if that's a touchdown and they start to pull away in the second half is this a different conversation I think it's just a little bit of a worry due to the the schedule they're in I I I think the you know in the conference that they're in now they uh just looking at it really quickly they have seven games uh is what I'm going to highlight in the back end of the season and of those seven they play five ranked teams three of them on the road they go at Arizona at Texas Tech and then at Kansas and they still end the season with Oklahoma at home that's a rough slate they're not going to be able to get away with again shador and just Travis Hunter winning those games for them especially the way the defense looked yeah I know they have a rough schedule but I think with the offense I think they're in most of those games in the fourth quarter I'm I'm sure there's some games that they're going to get blown out maybe ver Utah is going to be tough um Oklahoma State can score some points um Kansas State also a tough offense um but I think they can score with those offenses it's it's if the defense can get the stops at the right times definitely a defense question mark and again a lot of those teams that they're playing that front four is going to be a lot better than North Dakota State so that offensive line that revamp New Look is going to need to kind of fig themselves out I wouldn't be shocked if they take the L next week at Nebraska that's a rough game coming off of how they played last night so we'll see but overall I have a little bit of a worry I know you're set on they're they're going to be fine so we'll see how the season pans out but interested to look uh and see how that works for Colorado after last night yeah just one more Point um I know they have a rough schedule but we seen a lot of teams come out slow week one like Florida State obviously losing SMU struggling against Nevada last night State A ranked team was on upset watch in the fourth quarter against Western Carolina they were 30-point favorites yeah um so and also Colorado might have the the roster with the most changes from last year coming into the season um so it might take a few weeks for them to figure it out on the defensive side and offensive line shador was only sacked one time last night which is a huge improvement from uh the previous season so I'm a Believer uh in Colorado and uh coach Prim he
