hey everyone this is Kelly Pointer with pointers motor supplies and KPTV and what I'm going to show you today is the bite point for standing starts all right so what we're going to do is this is my steering wheel that I'm using I'm just going to show you this is the button right here that I'm going to set it up to and this is the launch trigger right here you go to your here you push I'm pushing the red button because that's the one I'm using to set it up you can set your bite point for whatever from 0 to 100% And for Porsches I hear it's actually you want to be down towards this range uh 38 or something like that for this I'm going to do 50 that's what I've been practicing on um that's how you set it up so that steering wheel is showing you right there and close that out so go ahead and go into test I'm going to leave this right here to show you so this is a a standard start if you start like this you're just going to burn them off like that start like this and it kind of does the bite point I think that's actually kind of I want I want to check something all right so back to the start so the bite Point see the little blue line that's next to the light blue right there see how it drops the half you can do a couple things you can set that and you got to keep your got to keep the clutch in right here what I found to do is push push the clutch in push the button down I let go of the clutch completely keep it half throttle right there and it goes so if you do it this way it's pretty much the same thing dropping the clutch releasing at least with the bite Point thing you don't have to hold the clutch in and time it and everything I just pushed that release the clutch have my throttle halfway and then go let it bite so I use the button only I from my standing start I'll hold the button down he won't move and then you want to you don't want to give it Full Throttle you want to give it half throttle then go Full Throttle once you release it but try that out and if you have any questions or if I'm even doing this wrong let me know please um um I've just this is the testing that I've done um it's I know it's a new thing for these these cars at least the ones that I've been driving the gt3s and it's something that people are asking about and I figured I'd make a quick video on it on the bite point and how to set up that second clutch pretty much and how to get the better starts so if you have better advice please leave a comment down in the video um if you like the video leave a like leave subscribe turn off turn on that notification Bell and make comment appreciate you guys time and God bless love you guys I'm out peace
