Harvey Weinstein indicted on new charges in New York

according to authorities disgraced Hollywood Mogul Harvey Weinstein is being charged with more offenses in New York City they stated that until he shows up in court to be formally charged on September 18th the specifics of the indictment will remain sealed at a recent court hearing Manhattan prosecutors said that they possessed proof of up to three additional accusations made against Weinstein Weinstein 72 was sent to a New York Hospital earlier this week for Urgent heart surgery after an appeals call this year reversed his 2020 conviction on accusations of rape and sexual assault he is currently awaiting a retrial in the city after it was decided that the previous trials judge had permitted testimony regarding accusations that were unrelated to the case to be given the case was dismissed it is unclear if the new allegations will be filed separately or added to the existing indictment for the November retrial
