Yellow weather warning for Thunder for parts of uk!

welcome everyone back to Mr our weather updates and we have a look at the live radar first and the pation and then look at the long pation and Jers um first we're going to have a look at some weather warnings as I have some thunderstorm weather warnings for today uh for weather warning uh for thunderstorms obviously it's a yellow warning for thunderstorms as you can see here on the Weather Channel as on the here it says here mod warning for thunderstorms from Saturday the 10:29 uh to Sunday tomorrow at 2 9:00 p.m. so there are risk of thunderstorm today uh moving up which I'll explain more after this otherwise it has been a largely overcast day for today uh thick cloud is possible with some M and fog patches as you can see from the weather now fog in some areas uh even though it's isolated there's still some quite a lot of fog uh and looking at the uh radar we can see the precipitation not much precipitation at least for the morning but then there is the Bland of showers uh moving up in the west now a look at the temperatures a lot it's a bit warmer today but with the cloud it may feel a little bit cooler than it would be so having a look how the heat will build mostly in the southeast East we might be seeing high 20s in the areas of the southeast but may feel a little bit uh cooler if they have Cloud which St you now going to have a look at the weather warnings like I said there ask some weather warnings put in place for today and this morning um even though they hit and miss most places will miss them um uh in areas that will uh happen flooding is possible with some destrution uh example flooding um maybe some driving conditions that depends how long it is um obviously where the lightning occurs delays and cancellation for obviously train and bus services um power cut is possible um if any lightning shrunks might uh cause damage to like any like power lines maybe or there is a small chance that business at over might be really quickly so uh example um maybe flood waterer lightning strikes hail Etc strong winds um further detail throughout today might end of heavy showers with some thunderstorms we'll be moving North as we saw on the wayer uh across England into Wales and then into Scotland um obviously then miss we don't know where that actually going to be cuz some actually unfortunately most places will miss some might see 30 to 40 mm rain maybe as areas 60 to uh 60 to 80 fre lightning strikes and hail is possible so here is the emergency stuff uh things to read out uh obviously uh remember here under make thunder obviously don't hide on the trees please stay inside uh if you don't want to be struck by mying of course now uh have a look at the matri Matrix this has a it is unlikely but has a medium impact obviously in a f understand warning this is what it would be it's very unlikely this might happen but it if it did happen it is a medium so quite a low level yellow warning now we look at the long range ukv charts uh you can see here a lot of thick Cloud which is giving M and fogging you can actually see the thunder showers that's pushing now uh for the uh areas of England there um only affecting the Midlands but then it's going to move into the north into evening and into the night and maybe a few more in the east as well as you can see by the dark and red colors right there uh maybe some more scatter ones to move up into Scotland as well into Monday and then Monday that thunder showers will be clearing out into the north with some more scatter show and Cloud on Monday possibly suunday I'm not sure um and then uh on Tuesday night the cloud will clear for a little bit but another ra Tres pushing otherwise on Wednesday um it will feel uh it won't be as Cloud be today scatter cloud with a few show as possible um then on to Sunday uh Thursday uh few pation in the nor in the South um and then m that might move up otherwise um mainly affecting the mid and whales only otherwise uh other may may get some drizzle but uh still a bit cloudy and a bit drizzly as well looking on to Friday still looks a little bit cloudy uh for now now looking at the max temperatures today is quite a warm day um as I saw from the radar so we're going to see AR is up to 26 to 27 maybe I 28 uh but I'm not quite sure because it's uh quite cloudy so it might feel a little bit colder if it did have that otherwise other areas are staying quite cool uh mid to high maybe even low te in the north and M low te in Scotland maybe some 17s looking into Monday not as warm um in the East still got mid to high teams in the North in the north uh with 20 possible but in the East 22 to 23 24 as possible in the Far East and then on to Tuesday um again a lot cooler in fact uh again mid to high teens is possible in the North and then east 21 is possible maybe 22 Wednesday uh in the S it looks like it's a lot cooler especially for September so getting to an average temperature for September as we mooving to September so Mah tees in the north mainly and then maybe in the South the odd 22 is possible and on to Thursday a lot cooler in fact very cool okay we're only going to see a isolated 20 in the west otherwise Aras are just going to see mid maybe 17 uh otherwise so little bit average to below average for September for now and then onto Friday oh at the no okay sorry and the temperatures for uh Saturday now I'm going to look at the GFS look at the long range while we have all this Cloud here there are bits of low PR low pressure pushing in for today uh as you can see here and on to Monday giving us room for showers and more rain and then some more low pessure systems try to push in in that and then onto next week onto Thursday uh we have an band of high pressure distu um with areas of uh with a area of L pressure trying to push in uh into the South actually that does actually kind of win and that L high pressure does break so it does look like we're in still in an area of low pressure for September uh giving us more rain and showers uh as there another front pushing in probably giving us more showers and rain as that uh uh that uh high pressure pushes out giving it more uh spells of wet leather and some showers possible for September for now thank you very much for watching and I'll see you in the next video
