podcast just a couple amateur athletes talking Pro Sports I'm Sam Cohen Mar too and it is football season baby I love it football's in the air balls are going to start flying guys are going to start getting smacked penalties will be thrown challeng shoulder pads each other we're starting with college football finally so officially as of Saturday there will be a football game on every single weekend college or NFL until February oh it's music to my ears honestly think about the bets I felt the I felt The Vibes of football the second I walked into this room today just CU I knew we were talking about it I was like I just it feels like football it'sot I don't even like it's like I like the team I like but at the same time I also just [ __ ] love watching football I watch any football like like I'm a I'm an Oregon Ducks fan for football but I'm not like a DieHard like I'm I'm living and dying by Oregon I'm I like to watch it's the last jersey you have and it's yeah ages ago Marcus Mariota Jersey which is fire by the way sick yeah I love this one they do have the best jerseys in college football it's not even close kind of what got me to like them honestly it was I remember the origin story of my Oregon uh fandom starts from Dennis Dixon do you remember that name Dennis Dixon he was the quarterback at Oregon he went on to be like a third string for the Steelers for years but he was super fast like he was like basically like the Mike Vic of nca8 so in that game I would just play as Oregon yeah I was Dennis Dixon all the time and I just like jerseys the guy who put me onto Oregon was a little fell by the name of DeAnthony Thomas DeAnthony Thomas was a goat I'm a huge fan of him that guy could run around the field like a chicken with his head cut off and not get touched I want to say he played for the Chiefs at one point something like that he definitely played in the league yeah I remember him for the chief at one point but man was the electric yeah he was like a Swiss army knife too dud he sick put him in the back field dude it was rounds they were they were mad fun to watch Chip Kelly too we were just talking about Kell and I want to make sure that I'm saying the right team on this but I'm pretty sure Chip Kelly is taking over the offense at Georgia which is crazy that he's teaming up with Kirby Smart yeah I'm gonna make sure that's right that'd be nuts if it's real I believe it it's the top five team I was looking at a list of the top five or top 25 earlier and saw uh Chip Kelly Chip Kelly man big chip talk about the worst NFL coach but the best college not the best college coach but he's a great college coach over NFL I'd say at least when he was with Oregon they were gross 100% they were nasty when he was with Oregon their offense was so cool to watch like it was fun like it was an electric offense to watch and real fun went to the Eagles and just blew up their roster blew them up like you just said get rid of Jeremy mcklin oh loved by the city get rid of LESA McCoy you're a goddamn idiot for that bring in DeMarco Murray from the Dallas Cowboys nuts man it's nuts what he did to the Eagles and then he kind of just dipped it's not Georgia it's not Georgia it's Ohio State wow that's even crazy ranked number two yes and they I believe they r one Georgia we might as well just go through the rankings right now screw it let me look we'll pull them up wow Chip Kelly the Ohio State offensive coordinator that's a I feel like that's like a steep down for chip yeah I where wait where was he before well he coached or everywhere he coached he was a head coach yeah I'm thinking was he I think it was at UCLA most recently no CL I I think it was I don't know if he was the head coach or the coordinator but I haven't really followed up on my Chip Kelly information yeah me nether the first time I've heard his name in a long time uh when you said it I was like chip holy [ __ ] he's still alive chippy Gotta Love a guy named chip gotta shout out to you for those who don't know my nickname is one of my nicknames I have many nicknames even came from I think I honestly think chomet it was from me just constantly saying chip Skylar in any sentence I could and then I just started calling you chip yeah I don't know where he came from you just like yo chip I was like live with somebody long enough you just start little something something about each team that we can talk about it is oh that's what I just pulled up it's the actual rankings but there should be an article that let's see let's see let's do AP News N nah all right screw it we'll just either way let's go through the that was basketball oh wait maybe it's on NCAA let's try this real quick let's try this that could be the one I read nope but [ __ ] it yeah no all right screw so number one we got Georgia no surprise there surprise um a lot of people were pissed they didn't make the playoff last year but like in my eyes it's like they they there's no way they could have yeah and there's no way Alabama couldn't have agreed because who they Alabama beat somebody the um game before that Tennessee was it Tennessee or was it like Texas or something maybe Texas it was either Texas or tenness but they they rang together several really big wins in a row at the end of the year and they beat one of the teams that they lost to in the beginning of the year which I forget I think was Texas it might have been Texas yeah I think it was Texas they lost to Texas right and they beat and they beat him so it was like and everyone was talking like this this isn't the full strength Alabama team yet and then end of the year came along and they were [ __ ] as good as and then when you got like when you got four undefeated teams and then a team that just beat the team that hasn't lost in two years there's no way that team can't there's no way that team can't get in that it wouldn't even make sense and they won the best conference in football right so like that was a lot of I mean I still thought Georgia was Georgia was probably still the best team in the country I mean you lose a game you lose a game it's unfortunate and then you got Florida State who was also undefeated they were but I understood why they understood it too it's just like the worst case scenario ever for their fans cuz it's like what do you even like you can't expect anything more you won every single game and you got an 18-year-old now playing quarterback for you that's it was tough for them but Georgia's number one no surprise there um who's number two Ohio State I believe yep we just talked about that chip kelston um offensive coordinator there I believe they got a new quarterback too that transferred from somewhere well I know they're I know Kord transferred to Syracuse so he's not the quarterback anymore got some I forget who should wrote that down but yeah they have a new quarterback so we'll see how that goes and then we got your ducks at number three Ducks here at three love that I love their coach yeah hell of a coach hell of a coach um number four we got Texas coming in strong do you think Arch Manning sees the field at all this year not I don't I wouldn't count a blowout like fourth quarter play field I mean like coming into a game like if Quinn 's screws up you think they're going to be quick to take him out I don't think so honestly I think Quin is pretty damn good honestly so I think that uh it's he's earned the right to be the starting quarterback this year oh no totally yeah I get that I but yeah you I mean the pressure is going to be on at some point if they don't play well if they don't play well the only thing I feel like they're going to talk about is why is Arch Manning not playing yeah and because if they lose a few early then it's almost like we have to salvage this season and this quarterback is not doing it for us right now we have a literal descendant of pton Manning here what are we doing like let's uh let's put him in and see what we can do cuz give Eli credit you only got to beat Tom Brady in the you got to give Eli love he's he's a [ __ ] Legend as well you're not wrong though I mean to think like holy [ __ ] we got a man in sitting here and he's it's not like the kid's bad like we've seen him stuff he can [ __ ] throw the ball I'm I am excited for that though I was thinking that when I was uh doing a little research earlier I was just thinking about Arch Manning I was like is he still at Texas like what's even going on with that but yeah you like cuz what heers is a junior yeah I think so but Mar Manning was a red Shir last year correct no he's a freshman this year he was a fresh he wasn't he was a senior in high school last year oh [ __ ] he was just that big of a deal oh yeah damn that's crazy I I thought he was red shirting last year no he it was just that he's that big of a deal okay yeah then crazy bro he didn't even put himself in college football because like I don't know if he made the choice but Texas didn't do it because like I feel like people would just be like [ __ ] Quinn aers yeah honestly cuz they have they had a guy there already and it was like let's utilize the guy we have now because we still have this gu but they didn't get the job done and now they have a Manning yeah I'm telling you one screw up one screw up he's ERS has the shortest leash in all of college football and it's probably not even by his coach it's probably by the fans in the media that's probably true cuz the second he starts to [ __ ] up they're going to be calling for Manning and it's going to be driving the the coach is going to inch closer at some point if it keeps happening he's going to be like you know what maybe these people are right let me put them in see what happens so we'll see Texas is going to be an interesting team to follow throughout the year for sure a peek here who's their first game uh they have Colorado State I think they'll probably beat them by 35 points the spread is 32 and a half so it's pretty close there I think they win that by 30 plus I mean these these first games it's hard to take those lines but like at the same time when the games over you're like [ __ ] I should have took the line yeah oh and then right after that though their next game in in Michigan in Michigan yeah holy [ __ ] so Michigan we'll see that's a good game off rip yeah um coming in number five we have Alabama Crimson Tide Crimson Tide um new coach saan era is done Ken deor era has entered we'll see how that goes Jaylen milro I think has a lot to prove this year absolutely I think he's going to come with like a big Vengeance and I think he's going to be a much smarter quarterback I agree I think he's going to realize all the decisions that like he made last year Sometimes Late in the game were like yeah you don't need to Chuck it especially when you have a defense like Alabama always does it's like it's almost like you have to be a game manager at a lot of points like you really don't have to do much as the quarterback of that team especially with the we just have to not make mistakes that's basically all it is it's just limiting mistakes and [ __ ] letting your boys go to work coming in at number six Old Miss I I've been reading that Old Miss is Elric off Lane kin is a monster out is that that's their coach right lane kin he's a monster out there yeah he's that's another uh he's a recruiting genius just like Chip Kelly he's fit for college oh yeah cuz he was ass in the NFL he one of the worst Raiders coaches of in my lifetime I could not stand that guy but yeah he's great in college forgot he was a Raider yep we took him right from uh where was he USC I want to say yeah yeah yep um and then we got number seven Notre Dame they're always I feel like in the top 10 yeah I'm a big uh anti Notre Dame football guy I feel like they always like fall off at something I agree they start off top 10 every year and then that in four weeks they'll be unranked they need to get into a conference too I'm tired of this nonsense this independent bull crap yeah it doesn't make sense that some how do we determine like I mean there's only three now it's Yukon UMass and Notre but that's it like what are we doing yeah put them in a conference you're mixing all these conferences now too you're putting teams all over the place Oregon's in the Big 12 or Big 10 now they're 10 the only the the actually they might be in the Big 12 you might be right either way not Pack 12 anymore all the pack it's so sad what they're doing yeah Pack 12 those team should just be independ they have conference they have they have like standings right now yeah it's literally Washington State and Oregon State and that's it yeah also I keep forgetting that what is it an eight team playoff this year 12 12 12 team play yeah this going to be a way different football season we've ever seen Target line for teams trying to get into the playoff is ranked 12th or higher okay and then if you win your conference you get a buy got it so most of the time the team that wins their conference is somewhere in that one to 12 so those four teams will get a buy one to 12 will then be spread out okay accordingly yeah with the remaining teams those teams play they get to the next round with the team that play a buy yep then it's tournament style you go into the semis after that but now it's like Anything Could Happen which is what I love because like now you know like the team like Florida State last year that went [ __ ] undefeated they had a they have a chance exactly totally agree no one that good of a team that's undefeated will get screwed and and solely going off of college football because I have played an insane amount yeah that's how it works is like if you get in the 12 area if you're 12 or above more than most likely you're getting in the playoff if you win your conference you're in there might be like a fringe like 13 or something that could sneak in it's going to be like on Bubble type stuff who beat who cuz there's like yeah strength lot of two lost teams there's going to be a couple three lost teams there's going to be a couple one lost teams and there's going to be those one or two guys that are I don't think there's going to be nearly the amount of undefeated teams this year as there is last year Ford was kind of crazy yeah it's a lot of undefeated football teams they honestly the [ __ ] people that make the the college football playoff had their work cut out for them last year it was very hard you almost like probably the hardest year they've had and they were set up to make an impossible decision like they're going to piss off somebody no matter what and Georgia didn't make it much better by losing they really threw a wrench in their plans cuz that's one team could have just SL crazy yeah no it's I agree cuz at that point it's like now you have five undefeated teams two of them have to two of them I'm sorry you didn't play good enough like yeah these teams played better teams yeah you're undefeated but they got better names but like throwing that Georg loss in there and then having to deal with Florida State and the ACC because ACC I mean it's not the SEC it's not even [ __ ] not even not even close surprised they're not in the SEC Florida's in the SEC Miami's in the ACC so I guess that makes sense yeah yeah it is what it is all right coming in at number eight uh Penn State the team that loves to beat the [ __ ] out of teams that aren't good and then finally play a team that's good and then people are like wait why are they bad yeah and it's like oh they don't play anybody what's what's their uh their situation looking like this year they got James Franklin still the coach I don't know anything I don't either dude thing the nitty Lions I don't know a whole lot until like it starts and then I'm like oh this guy's the quarterback here now they open their year against uh West Virginia too it says why Pat McAfee is amped for pen State West Virginia love that me see roster yeah who's there QB doesn't give me a depth chart though I just I gotta guess which one's the quarterback Drew Aller actually I remember seeing that name Junior Drew Aller I believe 65 sling at 238 Jes this a big boy Christ he had 25 TDS and two picks last year all right not bad okay again though they like to beat teams that they should beat and then when it comes to playing a real team they kind of [ __ ] their pants I kind of hear that I I feel like I feel similarly about Notre Dame and and Penn State they usually start out pretty high on the rankings and then they face some tough competition work their way down yeah but usually stay in the mix long enough to still be talked about coming in at number nine we have Michigan Wolverines returning Natty Champs obviously the number nine makes sense you lose J.J McCarthy you lose Corum Roman Wilson probably half their defense yeah I mean a lot of guys down but see same coach this year as the one that replaced our ball when he was suspended so nothing really familiar yeah familiar faces around the place Donovan Edwards is still there so he's going to really take the load for the I'm excited to see him running back right I'm excited to see him as the Lan back this year yeah I think it was great watching him and corm it was cool great was sick I made a lot of money off Blake corm 2 TDS yeah but I'm excited to see what Mr Edwards got in store for us yeah um coming in at number 10 we've been talking about them quite a lot Florida State they have a lot to prove this year also but they lost their quarterback so yeah we'll see how it goes they got that young kid that played in the bowl game um but we'll see I'm not sure what's good with them as obious they'll definitely have a chip on their shoulder because they are pretty angry that they didn't make it in but it's going to be hard to replicate an undefeated season so yeah luckily they have 12 different spots to get into now instead of four yeah so better better uh odds better odds for him there um they minus 10 and a half first game they're like the first game they are they are close they're close um they they play Georgia Tech and Ireland Georgia Tech 10 and a half I believe Saturday 55 and a half over which I love 55 and a half I would take that all day give me that all day it's now at 54 and a half 54 take it I like it I think these I think Florida State's going to come out huming that could be my uh my first bet of the Season maybe it might just be Florida State minus 10 and a half and over 54 and a half well two leer can see it um coming in at 11 a team that I don't know anything about whatsoever we got the Missouri uh tagas don't know a thing about them either don't know much about M so we're just going to Breeze right over the Utah Utes coming in at number 12 love seeing Utah love seeing Utah in there I noted them down here I just was reading a little bit about them before and I like cam ryzen coming back strong this year is fully healthy and apparently their defense is pretty solid they've returning a ton of players same coaches very familiar system so I think they're going to be better than they were last year and like we said with our state they're they now have more opportunity to make a make a they got that chance now that you didn't have last time you know you drop a because you know you drop a game and it's like season's almost over yeah literally like especially if you're Utah like if if you're Alabama you drop one and then you're like okay I expect to win the next five versus these [ __ ] teams that we set up here they're also very strategic with their uh their scheduling and SEC and all those big big schools that like they're very strategic with when they're playing who where and after what and you know you can tell you can tell like the the schools that know what they're doing that have had success for years coming off coming off a Texas SEC game you play Vanderbilt right exactly and like let's go [ __ ] run these guys off the field put up 75 points just get confidence make us feel a little better that way we have some confidence going into Texas next whatever now you're totally right um coming in at number 13 we got LSU so looking at this I'm now I'm just going to start to make like a mental note we have one two three four five in the top 15 from the SEC okay we have one two can you get clearance on if Oregon's actually in the Big 10 or Big 12 yes one two independent three four wow it's pretty much organ's in the Big 10 it's pretty much the Big 10 in the that's it that's it yeah that makes sense to me as of right I mean and other than UT as the AC on the Big 10 uhid I think Utah might be Pack 12 Big 12 pack 12 is dunzo it's Big 12 oh oh right right right okay yeah um yeah Florida State's ACC and then Utah is probably Big 12 but other than that it's all SEC or Big 10 which is if you want to be in a conference that gets into the playoff I guess it's going to be one of those too um and then coming in at 14 we have Clemson dbos Sweeney Clemson's been kind of yeah I feel like they're not the PowerHouse they were a few years ago no another ACC team that kind of not fallen off but has kind of Pumped their breakes a little bit absolutely um I do like their quarterback though I like klubnik I don't think he's bad I just feel like dabo's offense is a little a little old I agree Utah is also Big 12 by the way Big 12 okay so yeah yeah two big 12 Big 12 team two ACC teams and then literally the rest is is Notre Dame who's an independent piece of [ __ ] and then Big 10 and SEC yeah coming in at number 15 shout out big new quarterback but I was reading I got to find his name here before I say it but I was reading solid he's very good from where's he from I believe like he's he's from Long Beach California Nico I am freshman right the kid is he's 66 215 but I've watched him play seven on seven he throws the ball so goddamn hard sick yeah I I like this the sound of that honestly I think Tennessee they're they're uh ranked lower obviously to start the year than they were last year they'll I think they're a team that will definitely move up on the lookout for ni I can't say last name so I'm not going to say but the kid's going to be good I know exactly as soon as you mentioned like their quarterback I was like I know exactly what it is cuz I've seen him on Instagram countless times same I didn't even realize that he was Tennessee fall out on this one high school team in just like pajamas really like in a S7 like he was just in pajamas in like a like you know just chilling just balling um death chart see if I can up we got them at 15 I like what I'm seeing there from Tennessee I'm going to uh definitely be following that hard this year yeah um shout out to my pop shout out to Big Ron father of little Ron Nico Yama Lea that's how you say it I think that's how it's pronounced Lea hopefully I didn't butch that but Yama Lea I'm sure you butched it um just gonna call him Nico what was the one dude you yeah um coming in at 16 another SEC team they just moved to the SEC newly welcomed uh Oklahoma Sooners right right right I don't know much about them right now me neither be honest with you well fine the thing with the college football teams is like I need unless you go to the school you're not really looking up who's got there's so many teams and so many things going on with the transer we got a lot of sports going on right now I'm I'm in baseball Mode still you don't know things about college football you can say you do but you're probably a liar yeah not trying to sound mean but the people that are like I know some people that actually eat sleep and breathe college football it's a very select view but then there's you know those uh creepers that come out through the boards and they're like oh yeah no this team is going to be electric this year I'm not going to pretend like I'm not an NFL guy before I'm a college football guy but I love college football and I love watching it cuz it's different and it's fun that's why we're talking about it and that's why we're talking about it but the new playoff this year there's it's going to make it so much more interesting exactly so exactly um coming in at 17 another these these teams I'm telling you right now I'm not going to know much about them yeah um 17 we got Oklahoma State yep 18 we got Kansas State M 19 we got Miami okay 20 we got Texas A&M 21 we have Arizona 22 a team that I Honestly Love watch playing football Kansas Kansas fun fun St I actually remember betting on them a few times last year they had a good offense a team that I know for a fact will definitely drop out of this top 25 damn near soon will be USC yep makes sense they're on there because they're USC right now that's usually have the the bottom half of the top 25 goes yeah and you had Caleb Williams so we have to put you in there yep now you don't coming in at 24 we have NC State and then coming in at number 25 we have the Iowa Haw guys all I know about the Iowa Haw guys is they have tight ends and they have a defense and they'll score nine points a game that's all I know about Iowa State or Iowa and they do that every year like clockwork so those are the rankings for the top 25 for the NCAA um we'll be talking much about that throughout the year because football is football and I'm G to be watching now with the college playoff I can say I'll watch more football I agree because in the it's like college used to be what are the undefeated teams doing because in the end all be all those are the teams that are going to mean the most and matter and those are the only teams that you're going to watch watch play now it's like you don't know what the hell is going to happen like I can lock in on a team like Tennessee or or you know who still has hope after having two ball it's like Utah like a team like that like I can the window on those games and watch that team for three or four weeks in a row and be like all right this team's fun to watch I hope they make it in the window of error is so goddamn it was so godam D tight that it was you lose one you if you're if you're a uton you lose one you're done yeah you don't have a glimmer of hope of nothing I feel like the part of college football that that I like is that like you can kind of have fandom not fandom but like you can root for teams that aren't your team really like you can kind of just like enjoy the sport as a whole without being so dieh hard live or die by every game that your team loses and I'm not like that in any other sport so it's like the only people that are like enjoy it and yeah and the only people that I feel are like that are people that just went to that school yeah like if you're which makes sense to me like yeah if you went to Alabama and you went to all the games for four years when you were there and [ __ ] locked in that team's good every year like I would live and die with that team too but like I'm not any I have no affiliation with Oregon none at all I I like Dennis Dixon from a video game when I was eight never never but you know that it was that's how it goes though with stuff like that it's like there's only so many schools you can one watch mainly because am I going to be a Die Hard Rowan football fan like hell no hell no I could have watched those games when I was there I went once yeah I went one time too for the free beer garden yeah same I was at the same one together actually yeah and that game was like watching paint dry [ __ ] was brutal I wasn't really watching it but me neither I was there for the beard all right let's get into the last half of our episode do some NFL talk yep mainly going to be uh honestly it's probably going to be a Raider Red Bird heavy talk right here but you know we have so many weeks to get into the NFL because it's back baby sir and we're getting back to our Thursday night Showdown um do I'm definitely for that I like that too I was a big fan of that I think it was a good plus I like the way that you edited those videos too like just the backgrounds of everything it always looks like I was hyped for it every Thursday every time I went up good look so we're keeping that going GNA do that every Thursday night little overview from the boys we'll talk about one side of the matchup and uh give you the keys to victory for each of those teams something else too that we're going to start doing I'm going to make them do it I don't care whether they like it or not love it you hear that our our they know who we're talking to our Fantasy League this year I'm gonna Vlog the draft we're going to do a whole Vlog during the draft so we'll have that recorded um and then we're just going to follow it all year just cuz it's fun it'll be a nice little side piece that we can all follow we bring in a couple of the guys during those certain weeks we'll we'll say whoever's got the best record of that week that's not you or I sure bring those two in have them speak about it you know or talk a junk say there's a battle of uh two teams that are undefeated happening we'll bring them both in we'll let them talk some [ __ ] we'll uh we'll mediate make sure you know no blood is shed but we want to get you guys involved in it as well um just because League once you once you watch the draft Vlog I think you'll start to understand a little bit as to why you're going to want to follow it because it's a crazy Bunch definitely a good bunch to do a one alive draft with as I was saying CU it's just all the boys we're going to be [ __ ] getting rowdy going to stun everyone Kyler's back Marvin Harrison going to put everybody on the map you're going to see all the young receivers we have too along with the young defense we have and we're going to mean you can't not everybody's going to come into this league and just do Pat Mahomes [ __ ] and Pat Mahomes didn't even actually he waited a little bit yeah he got to C of year behind Alex Smith so all right let's go week two start us off oh no oh you want me to go next Raider week one yeah we'll just go week by week Raiders week one this is an easy one for me baby Raiders Chargers Justin Herbert is throwing to a bunch of trash cans he's got no weapons he's got you know maybe a little bit of a line now he got John har back in the NFL but I think the Raiders are just kind of uh have the Chargers number I feel like recently I don't know I feel I also think you guys are more of a team than they are I agree I think after last year the way that we finished I think that we're going to come in hot I think Antonio Pierce is going to get us in the right mindset and they're going to win one on the road in La which is basically a Raider home game because the Chargers don't have fans that is true the Raiders have plenty of fans in La I've heard a little birdie say that Max Crosby and Christian Wilkins are somewhat of best friends now are they yeah I love to hear that cuz and they're on the same defensive line that duo is going to be [ __ ] crazy I've heard they've developed quite a strong relationship throughout Camp that's one thing I love about Max Crosby is that like his guys are his guys exactly and he's he's like now friends with Christian Wilkins you're saying MCH that's his yeah but like that's the guy he's gonna be playing next to and working next to every single day at practice and he's the most hardworking player in the NFL so that's going to rub off on every single player on the team so having a leader like that is huge my mother's calling me live live answer tell her you're on air mom you're live to tape what's up I was calling you back oh my bad yeah I called you earlier but you called me back about 45 minutes later so you're live the tape say what's up what's up I love it um well no we had a little I had a little issue coming in I didn't know the alarm was on and I forgot the code oh my God thank God it was you yeah it was me I I told my most formidable foe in the division for us the Los Angeles Rams hate playing against Shawn McVey can't stand it um I think we win it love it I think we start 2 and0 I think we win that one that's a 405 starter that's what I love about the Cardinals games is I can like bet and watch the one o'cl games in complete peace yeah and like not have the rest of my day ruined and then four o' rolls around I'm like all right now there's only a couple games left now I can watch my team in peace you know agreed there's not too much chaos going on around me because I mean I enjoy when uh you get a Thursday night game and then you get that out of the way and all that stress on Thursday and then if you win you're heading into the week hot and you're like all right let's bet yeah get to watch football's we're home against Detroit um week week three that's going to be our first loss for sure I think I don't think we're going to get pounded but I think we're going to I think they're going to run clinical circles around us yeah Detroit per se they're good team team and they're only getting better they' they're young and they have the same core same Coach jarro G is so underrated honestly if you ask I'll take two and one to start yeah for sure possibly one and two I'm I'm the more I think about Buffalo I'm 5050 yeah I want us to come out I don't want to say we're going to lose week one who wants to say that No One's Gonna Raiders could have been playing no [ __ ] it we're not we're not yeah going back we not I love it and uh on the theme of two and one Raiders are going to win week three against the Panthers yep okay that should be a nice easy w i I'd hope a game I'm uh I'm very I'm very interested to watch that because I want to see how the new Panthers offense looks yeah I want to see how scared Bryce young is going to be against Max Carby honestly because he is a little boy playing they did bolster the lineup they did um I've read something that somebody was like they got some big [ __ ] up there really they're like don't worry Bryce can see over them that's good that's good I hope he can't without protecting a guy that's like of the stature of Bryce young you're you're setting him up to fail yeah and I mean with protection the guy can actually play like and and he's got I Deontay Johnson now too I don't want to shed any bad light on a rookie quarterback from last year because it's you got to get your foot wet especially when you're on the Panthers like you get drafted by the worst team in the league you shouldn't be expected to be good the first year at all yeah I definitely uh feel for him a little bit but week four week four we are home again we play three home games in a row that's interesting um against the Washington commanders okay last year was a very very close game week one we almost won we lost by like I think it was 10 or three off of a couple like a dumb penalty that shouldn't even happened Kyler wasn't even playing right um Colt the Thunderbolt at that point Colt the Thunderbolt was playing congratulations Colt by the way on retirement long career ah retire um he's done with the NFL Dam um but we got the commanders I'm excited to watch Jaden Daniels play I am too against my team not so much but I'm excited to see him play um I think we somehow some way squeak a win out love it and start three and one stay optimistic baby I love it because I'm looking down this schedule I ain't looking too good on the back end I'm looking at this one too it's getting a little rough here luckily the the division we're playing this year is the is the AFC division we're playing this year shoot shoot the what are the Jets in East in the AFC East East yeah yeah so we're playing the AFC East last year I forget who we played it wasn't the FC East so all right back to you week four back to me week four rap we have a tough matchup in Las Vegas against the Browns it's tough defense I'm still not like sold on them fully because like they're still just Deshawn Watson isn't it anymore and you know but yeah chub will be back hope I mean maybe yeah who knows who knows I mean I saw a video of him squatting like 600 pounds so he's fine I think really yeah he was had the [ __ ] bending on his back and just to his every [ __ ] ligament in his knee yeah both of them and he was squatting oh he's he's my rb1 in Dynasty yeah so I think he'll be fine week one um but I want to be optimistic and say the Raiders take home and Dob at home I like that I like the optimism yeah I mean you gotta be optimistic two straight two straight uh home games there you got the Panthers that should be a clean win and then it's going to be a tough one against the Browns but I think they can pull it out so yeah I'm going to take take the uh Raiders there and that's a three in one start heading into week five yeah yeah and for reverse for week five um this is an automatic loss we're playing the ners in San Francisco um I have nothing it's going to be a loss I there's yeah there's no way around it it's going to happen um tough to see the ners on the schedule and predict a win honestly so we'll be three and two after week five I believe Fair um Raiders gonna stay hot got the Broncos haven't lost to them in eight straight appearances so I think it's going to be uh nine and0 in the last nine for the Raiders there and B knck is going to get absolutely stepped on do you see uh Shawn pton like trying to flex that he like baited the Raiders into not trading up for B for bck we got Brock Bowers buddy like like what are you talking about like you drafted bonck in the first round but no one else wanted to and we got Brock Bowers at 10 thanks so who won there yeah like go keep talking [ __ ] Sean Payton pissed off I hate that guy he's a SC so annoying he's like the urban Meer of the NFL dude's a bounty hunter he literally [ __ ] is a bounty hunter he put [ __ ] prices on heads of NFL players yeah it's crazy scum um coming in at week historic rival not a division Vision rival but Raider Steelers in Vegas though Immaculate incompletion I'd love to yeah is that what they call it that's what I call it Immaculate in complet supposed to be the Immaculate Reception but he absolutely did not complete that reception no find me some footage of the ball not hitting the ground Frank I'll pay you yeah that's funny uh but yeah I think this the Raiders Dro that one to the Steelers I think uh I don't know though we'll have to see what Justin Fields or Russell Wilson or whoever the quarterback is yeah we'll see how they how they uh look on their new Squad but I think that's a tough one Raiders will drop that call it uh four- two after week six all righty um I'm going to do a little I'm going to do a three-week speedrun then you do a three-week speedrun yep Chargers win so we're back at or and three then we're in Miami that's a loss okay um and then I do think the Bears will get the best of us as well okay so you're are four and five four and five it after nine weeks was what three and three after three and three after week six we'll beat the Chargers so four and three we'll lose to the do yeah four and five I'm thinking four and five after week nine going into week 10 I'll do just another one because then we have a buy um going into the Jets which I unfortunately if Aaron Rogers is playing I think would be another loss um but that's a big implicating game for me me yeah me specifically right I need us to win that game as a former jet I have to win that game yeah it's a it's almost a passing of the torch of like yeah like this is this is my team now and we [ __ ] beat my old team this is why I left yeah so going into week 11 I'm calling five and five we're going to beat the Jets going into week 11 going into by okay so after six weeks here the Raiders are 4- two they're going to head from Las Vegas after a match up with the Steelers to LA to play the Rams uh they're so wishy-washy sometimes I feel yeah like I don't really know how to feel about the Rams I I'm gonna say we randomly dropped that game I just it seems like a game they're going to lose to me yeah they [ __ ] blew it to the Rams last year or whatever the year they had Baker when they like signed him and then four days later he started and then had a fourth quarter comeback on us so I don't know I don't like the juju of the Rams there so I'm gonna say the Raiders lose that one four and three then you got the Chiefs in Las Vegas and we're [ __ ] winning that game knew never going to both Chiefs games this year the Raiders will sweep the Chiefs book that we're winning both games versus Kansas City this year clip that one clip it so four and three after the Rams five and three after the Chiefs then they got the Bengals week nine week nine in Cincinnati which is a really tough game but another one it's a Revenge game of that [ __ ] playoff sham where Joe burrow stepped out of bounds and threw that touchdown pass after the refs blew an inadvertent whistle they're coming back and they're beating the [ __ ] Bengals into the ground in that game into the ground 6 and three after N9 weeks let's go and then what do you got week 10 week 10 we got the Dolphins in Miami I think we dropped that one okay that's November 17th it's not that cold yet Dolphins still might be good oh yeah it's in Miami also yeah so it'll be nice and warm there inside you're right true I just always have to think that the Dolphins you got you got to think about the weather because once it gets cold they suck yeah no you're not wrong um but yeah I think the Dolphins will win that one so Raiders will be six and four after 10 weeks okay so going into who do you guys when's your bye week five weeks late late it seems like it rown into 11 what do you got for 11 week 11 got the Broncos again another win okay so going into week 12 uh we are in Seattle I think we're going to drop the game in Seattle but in week 14 I think we're going to win the game versus Seattle at home okay so that puts us at and then we play Minnesota in between which I think we'll lose too um okay so we are five and five after the buy lose to Seattle 5- six lose to Minnesota 5- seven back on the winning train at six and seven versus the Seattle Seahawks after week 14 Raiders go love it I'm like looking right now I can't even find the [ __ ] by oh it's it's actually between the Bengals and dolphins so after the Bengals game then we got James Conor fantasy text should I read it oh yeah what do you got after the year it's from our boy clackers ah hit me up at the bright early hours of 2:30 a.m. saying asking about James Connor uh not even that um he just said I need to ask you some top secret questions about fantasy football right now which I probably shouldn't be airing out now I'm thinking about it I've gotten that text last year from CLA about the Raiders he asked me a few things I love it but I'll answer him later it does have to do with my red birds but we'll see um love that you uh kept the confidentiality of that conversation back to you yeah I totally realized that when he said top secret I probably shouldn't tell anybody I respect it CL I'm sorry respect um so yeah we're let's see seven and sorry seven and four after that Broncos win okay yeah seven and4 after the Broncos then you got the Chiefs again like I said they're sweeping it yep eight and four and you got the Buccaneers in Tampa that's a loss um they are 8 and5 then you got the Falcons in Las Vegas that's a win um they are nine and five then they got the Jaguars in Las Vegas D Raiders about to make the playoffs though they about make the playoff Raiders win again before before we get any further R.J does this thing every year where he says the Raiders would go 11 and six every single year and I'm not even doing it on purpose he's not he does this every year he looked at the schedule and he's just he's such an optimistic Raider that the schedule is always lined up somehow for them to some way somehow go 11 and six and right now we are lining them up to go 11 and six cuz they're about to be 10 and five though listen listen J Jaguars in Las Vegas that's a win 10 and five Derek Carr in New Orleans we're [ __ ] coming at that guy's throat and we are going to pick them off six times Jack Jones is going to have three picks in that game could you imagine years ago I know crazy you would never say that be Derek Carr most clutch quarterback of all time most fourth quarter wins in all of NFL football most overtime wins ball NFL football there was a point where he was that he was that at one point and then it all went downhill from there and I tried to hang on to that those years of it's just crazy it's just crazy to hear from you because I've you've you're always a I love my quarterback guy which I love that's how you got to be if you're a football fan you got to love your quarterback otherwise you're not going to like the team I agree that's the leader of the team my my reflection of the quarterback on the roster reflects my thoughts on the entire team but keep going but yeah so Raiders are going to smoke their car in New Orleans to go they're now 11 and five and then they got the Chargers in Las Vegas I'll say that they can split that one sure win that may maybe they lose the first one win the last one but they'll split with the Chargers finish 11 and six 11 and six we're going to the playoffs mchu Mania baby it's time let's go when's your buy 17 it's in between the Bengals and dolphins yeah so uh so still have two more games you're done after week 16 no I read them all out 11 and six 17 there's 18 games they're they they play 17 don't they oh you're right I'm an idiot yeah because it was 16 in the there's a literal bye in front of I'm a dummy all right let's finish out this schedule um two wins back to back week 15 16 right now I got them at six and seven uh 15 we're playing New England that's a win yep back to seven and seven uh 16 we're playing in Carolina another win yep and then we're going to lose in LA to the Rams we'll beat him at home we'll lose to them Fair away um so what are we at we at six and seven and then two wins eight and seven eight and eight and then unfortunately we're going to finish under 500 this year we're gonna play the Niners again at home they're gonna beat us um but but yeah eight wins would be great that's over the considering last year's wins if if that's uh how you think it's going to go down could be a good bet to do uh Cardinals team or a win total over because I believe it's set at like five and a half or some [ __ ] or six and a half yeah I might hit that then so it could be a good bet um I actually like that though I feel like you were very much more realistic than I was yeah I think we finished eight and nine I don't have high expectations for the team right now we're young we're we're young as hell right um Kyler's just coming off an ACL I think James Conor is probably in his last year as a cardinal I think Trey Benson's going to take over as the number one back after this year I like Trey Benson a lot I like him a lot too um I'm a big fan of Michael Wilson I'm a big fan of Greg dorch I'm even though I think he just got hurt unfortunately um obviously we got Maserati Marv Maserati Marv love me from Trey McBride our offense is MC they're very young Trey McBride's uh fantasy value Skyrocket he's dude he's a hell of a tight end he uh he's like one of the top five tight ends being drafted I once Z kind of got out of the way it freed up so much space and he just was like yeah I mean I had him for a little bit last year and he was like he saved me because I had no options at tight end yeah Waller and [ __ ] that's what I think about these cards they're young again I'm not going to put high expectations on a team that's I think got four wins last year think that's a very realistic way to look at the season kind I mean I'll double my wins yeah I'll take that all day dou if we keep doubling our wins we're going to get to a point where we're going to [ __ ] win 17 games you have the quarterback back in the mix like finally dude people are talking about like all last year as if like we're shitty like yeah we weren't a great team we also didn't have our quarterback like and it was quick that they realized that they weren't doing anything this year so they weren't like let's win every [ __ ] game Let's they gave a lot of the young guys experience they threw them out there go play just go play exactly um I'm a big fan of BJ oari too big fan what positions he play he's middle linebacker on our Squad um he kind of took over for Isaiah Simmons who I loved yeah but we got rid of unfortunately we had to that was giant yeah that was contractual we had to get rid of him we just didn't have the money at the time that's the business baby that's the business but I mean as long as Buddha's anchoring the defense and Kyler's anchoring the offense I have the utmost confidence in the boys um it's just respect our division is kind of tough and then our schedule I'm not a big fan of this year yeah it's definitely not an easy schedule that you just ran through AFC East is tough the Raider schedule's definitely uh not easy by any means but like it's possible that some of these things that I'm saying here could happen like yeah like I I chocked up you know the Falcons game as a win but like that's probably not going to be an easy game by any means with Kirk there now and you know we got like the Saints game's going to be tough 100% no you're Jazz game will be tough like these are all tough games but I'm just you know you're gonna have to Duke them out but I mean optimistic you're a Raider I'm a Raider Raiders imine as let me tell you something we got to do a little uh button update one of these days get some fresh ones for the 2024 season you got else though um what else we got going stay updated for Fantasy um be on
