when I came in the league in ' 07 there was Antonio Gates and Whitten it was right on the back end of like Shannon shte Tony Gonzalez it seems like now every team at least the good teams they all have a tight end Travis Kelce and George K they've been the top two guys in the league tight ends for the first time are in that conversation as the Marquee players they're going to line up next to the tackle and block those big 290 lb defensive ends and then on the next play they got to win against corners and safeties and win in the passing game I always joke you got to block the same guys the tackles do you got to run routes against the same guys the wide receivers do and they pay you half you make less money but you got to do both so it's kind of funny how that works
