let's take you back to the start of your journey and take you here what was it like that night arriving and signing for Celtic it was a bit of a a strange one because I didn't know what was happening the night before you know you know cuz I I think I was down at London at the time thinking I was going going to Italy so I was like when I heard Celtic were interested in me I was like wow like something I always wanted to do so at first yeah I was a bit it was a bit of a a strange one but I got my head around it pretty quick and um my main focus was on Celtic then this man there he is the manager how big an influence was he in terms of signing you and and you wanting to sign and also uh what he's he's given to you since then yeah he's been been huge um you know I've never really had that connection with a manager before and um you know I think everyone could see the difference in me playing before to to since I came up to Celtic has being a big change and it's it's pretty much down to down to the GAA you know he's changed me a lot and um even my thoughts on football it's he's been massive in my career you get your first start at Easter Road in Edinburgh and what a night tell us about it that was amazing um I'll never forget walking out out the tunnel and seeing the fans and hearing all the Roars and shouts and and all the flares you know it was was crazy I've never seen anything like it and yeah it was it was really exciting for me you know um first start playing in front of the fans like that was was was crazy and to get the the two goals uh the first one yeah was was buzzing and then got the penalty last minute and put that away was was some feeling you know I never lose that feeling and to celebrate in front of the fans was was amazing always a big game this going to I Brocks what was it like not only that scoring in it but at the time of the game that you did yeah it was um that was huge um you know I think anyone that wants that comes to saltic always wants to play against them and it's it's a huge game you know um it was crazy cuz I remember coming in and I couldn't breathe about for 5 minutes and I was thinking wow this is this is not right the the adrenaline you have and the atmosphere around the place was was mental and to get the goal in that time was was honestly it was it was amazing you know my first first derby was was crazy and it was such a good feeling you know it motivates you so much to to score as many goals and um yeah the the feeling of playing for Celtic is is crazy that leads to this then you can see the joy in your face as does the picture tell the story in the end yeah definitely um well I was it was some feeling you know to celebrate in front of all them fans was was amazing when I look back now from from when I first came in to Celtic the nerves I had the the noise about the place to to this moment here was was amazing you know I felt so welcome so settled in and I just loved every minute of it you know celebrating with with all the boys the fans the staff everyone together as one and was an amazing feeling it wasn't the last celebration you go down in history when you win a cup but do it in the circumstances you do it and a massive fixture as well just talk us through that moment that feeling when I hit tonight was was really strange because I've never never felt that feeling before you know was I never thought when I came to self would be me that would be scoring the the winner in a game like that it was um a special special moment for me my family my friends and uh the crazy thing like I went to to LA in the summer and walking about LA and the Celtic fans com up to me and it's like wow you know um this picture is probably one of my favorite photos I've got um it's unbelievable unbelievable you're here here you've signed the deal what's the long-term aspirations for you at Celtic well for me is to be as successful as I can um personally as a club you know I want to do good things for this club and not picture there I want to I want to prepay them fans as much as I can and do the best I can for this club they've given me they've given me so much and um it's time for me know to to put the head down and and rep now
