Falcon and Rocket fans have dusted off their football gear because it's almost time for kick off. Noel joins us, live in Bowling Green. Noel, how is it feeling out there? That's right. It's nice and warm out here in the gates just opened inside the stadium. But why would you want to go in the party is really happening out here since 4 p.m. The tailgate. Look at the spread. The BG parents got going on and funny enough, the parents that get this going. All right here with me, parents of veteran players on the team. I'm joined by Danny and Mark Danny. I've been told you're kind of the head of all this that's going on. Talk about the that went into this food and just why you decide to get everybody together year after year. Well, I wouldn't say I'm the head of everything. My husband definitely helps too, but we have a lot of really great families. We're very lucky. The Falcon football players, they're just a portion of it. But the families that come to the table, we all love each other. It is like a giant extended goofy family. Everybody likes to pitch in. And honestly, like, this is what we look forward to all year long. Like when football ends at the end of the season, it's a very long time that we're waiting and longing for football to start again. So we're all very excited to be back together and until hopefully the end of December end of December. Absolutely. And that's kind of what we were talking about before we went on the air here is just, you know, the progression that the program has been on since the start and mark your son has been in the program for five years. It's going into his fifth season this upcoming season, right. So, just with the Incline, they've been on, what's the excitement level to see from the team? I mean, we're really excited. I mean, obviously, you know, since 2020 with COVID, like every year has been a step in the right direction. You know, my son has gotten bigger, faster and stronger, the whole team has gotten bigger, faster and stronger and, you know, right now, we're kind of just sitting at that start line and we're just, everybody's got that anxious energy and we're really hoping that the trajectory is what we all think it should be. And that's Mac championship in December and then hopefully, you know, really great bowl game Bahamas or Arizona would be really nice come December. I kind of feel like the weather we're experiencing right now, which is rare for bowling green, right? And Danny, your son is coming into his second season with this program. Just so what did he learn about the first season? What did you learn that brought you guys back another year that you've just grown to appreciate about the program? A lot of learning curves, honestly, you know, and just he was injured last season, which was a giant. But the guys that he has made a family with has been lifesavers for him, you know, and coming back like he has just been ready to get back after it and be cleared to get out there and practice hard with the guys. And you know, if, if you're not close after going through camp during the summer time, you will be by the time you're done. So, yeah, he's enjoyed it. He loves bowling green. I mean, it's a great community. It's a great university, the coaching staff, the players like these guys are brothers for life and they'll have that forever. So it built a new appreciation for it. And I have to ask, I hear some guns n roses going on in the background. Who's in charge of the playlist for these tails? Is that right? Ok. Very cool. What's, what's usually the go to? Um, honestly, it's a good mix. The eighties, nineties, two thousands country, we try to spread it out. So everybody finds something that they like diversify. Very cool guys were excited to see their season opener. Coming up at seven pm tonight. Kick off seven for seven pm to lead is also kicking off their season tonight and we will have more previews coming up at six. But for now, I send it back to the studio.
