the championship at SummerSlam when I was there last month I can't believe it's been a month well it ain't even really been a month it's been like 28 days or some [ __ ] almost a month doesn't feel like it was that long ago gother choked out Damen priest at SummerSlam to win the World title crowd's [ __ ] pumped for Gunther for darling and I'll see you tomorrow till then I'll watch on TV like a scrub like everybody else I'll be sitting right at the exit of turn four yet again you get it's a hell of a spot to sit at you get that entry into three and the exit off of four it's it's the tightest corner you know turns one and two are kind of a sweeping High higher speed Corner they really got to wo him down to get through three and four to man no grein there a lot of Bushwackers in this race a lot of double duty guys vangas Bergen Gregson um Christopher Bell who's driving a Hendrick 17 car isn't that in the race thought somebody was in the Hendrick car [ __ ] Chase Elliott in the 17 okay Lano in the 15 Elliott in the 17 Bell in the 20 Gregson in the 30 Chastain in the 92 and Vang Gasburg in the the 97 those are your double duty guys there's six of them and a lot of them are in pretty [ __ ] equipment Lego's in a crappy car gregson's in an okay car Chastain's in a crappy car bill stands the best chance of winning of this group I think even announcers are hesitating to talk about like ah Christopher Bell's going to dominate we all know he's going to dominate this race and it's a short race too the crowd's doing a wave right now during the going through Randy Orton match oh I bet it's hotest but you know what on second thought I'm glad I'm not at the race today I'm glad I'm not going till tomorrow and I'm not getting there until about an hour and a half before the race I want to be out on that as little as possible few Miss what's it Bianca Biller playoff bubble is Irrelevant in the series unbelievably though there's two Junior Motorsports cars below the cut line one of them is in a must-win situation the caliber of driver at Junior Motorsports is not very good outside of Aly and mayor and the part-time guys like quaffle and Dale Jr we know they're actually capable of winning I think we're getting the one to go [Music] here this is like the perfect length race it's the perfect race it's on the one of the best racetracks arguably the best racetrack in NASCAR and it's not three [ __ ] hours long usually unless you you know get a rain delay like we did last time we went to this race or was it Thee the time before I can't remember the one where Sheldon Creed did the wall ride and greggson won and there was like a two and a half hour rain delay in the middle of the race just a few laps before halfway too I was kind of rooting for it to rain a halfway in the race but a caution come out for a wreck and then it started raining and it's like God damn it we were like four laps from halfway I just wanted to go back to the hotel and chill I didn't feel like being out there all day Shel C's gonna finish second to Christopher Bale how about alminger qualified fourth Darlington South Carolina green green Green at 3:36 I'm kind of glad this race started late today so I can watch WWE specifically CM Punk's match whoa whoa big stack up big stack up 31's got a problem redl not up to speed almost caused a big wreck I don't know what that is [ __ ] was stupid it's a nonissue to me but apparently Chevrolet was not happy like what Chevrolet actually notices another Chevy team besides Hendrick Motorsports but only when they do something wrong I guess is that five car or Kevin Harvick Jimmy John's throwback and a 31 stopped on Pit Road that's going to be a yellow it's a live Pit Road and the 31's not moving they're going to have to throw a caution for that right cautions out oh man Christopher Bill's not going to get that 10c lead now he'll have to settle for a 5-sec lead 31's not moving yeah you got to stay out here obviously good news is this caution gives you a break on you know a couple Laps on your tires still after 45 Laps on your tires at Darlington you're gonna be dead hey can we run the soft tire tomorrow for the Cup race how long would they last there like 10 laps and Randy Orton's got the upper hand on gther Randy Orton's totally not winning this match but if he did I would if he did win I'd be happy I said the same thing about Kevin Owens today I was like he's definitely not winning but I was like if Kevin Owens did win I would have cried happy tears there was a couple of times that made me think godd RKO out of nowhere in that match we need as little Caution as possible let's just get this Christopher Bell dominated race over with Red's lap was up shifting through one and two after the start of the race and the damn thing just didn't upshift a fuel pump problem yeah that's a tough break sabotage from Chevrolet no there was a lot of action going on it started with the 31 checking up and then the 19 did something similar here oh come up off the corner and Aly came down and they touched that's what slowed the 19 down I was wondering what the hell happen to him seven looks good that's a race car it's got a donut on it gota watch out when you're racing with Joe graph Jr man he had the race of his life at Daytona last Friday all right eight laps complete Christopher Bell's leading how fast will he get a massive lead here he was already out to about a second and a half before the yell 20 is already clear great camera work oh did Fox come back for a second there side by side per second as Bill drives away gonna see a lot of that today alminger going for a second AJ needs a win it's been kind of a crap year by his standards his high standards he's set for himself the last few years here fangas Bergen poached all his road course wins and AJ got spun on the last lap at Daytona last week Sam mayor third cerman in the top 10 side by side with Cory H Cory H's one of the best drivers in trip that's the mo the single most expensive race I'm pretty sure and if I go I want to go for the whole weekend I want to be there for the Thursday races the Friday race the Saturday race and the Sunday day500 so that'll be a big vacation in the future we are talking about going to Daytona next summer because they have a summertime race at Daytona which they just had a week ago we'd like to go for the smoke from the 15 but I guess the track's clear they've driven through one one and two since 98 was in the top 10 as well he it went down he just the tire popped and then he went into the wall and now Anthony Alfredo and the five cars got trouble he's gonna make it to the pits what the [ __ ] going on yeah you got a lot of runoff room here so the five of the 98 made it to the pits the 15 made it to the garage goter big German suplex on Randy Orton I'm paying attention to that match I'm just waiting on the big finishing sequence what finish are they goingon to do for this Randy Orton versus gther match then I want to watch some of the SummerSlam press conference because Punk's going to talk and he's always entertaining for a press conference I know it's not throwback weekend but I see the 44 cars got the M tonight paint Scheme That's a classic the M tonight car and the black McDonald's car Bill Elliot drove they're the two best ever and like I said said Alfredo has a Kevin Harvick Jimmy John's throwback no we're not oh now we are whoa look out Shane vangas Bergen put some air on the 91 of weatherman Jesse loves sliding behind them this track is fun dude and when it's this hot it's really fun there's no grip your tires wear and there's no grip because it's so hot outside so the car just slides and that just wears the tires the higher temps and the sliding just wears the tires even more this is probably my favorite NASCAR track I'm glad to be going tomorrow my my favorite race I went to this year was Darlington back in the spring we saw a couple of really good we went to Darlington and Bristol were two really good races we went to wils burough which was a good day not a great race but a good day and then we went to Charlotte and that was a waste of goddamn time and money Cory HS up to eighth he's on the move all guy on the move it's an important day for Van Gasburg and he's gained six spots he's one of the biggest movers of the race this his second time back at Darlington curious to see how he does when he's going back somewhere for the second time n's power bombing the [ __ ] out of Randy Orton oh Randy blocks it Bill Creed mayor aldinger and Austin Hill the top five this ain't a super speedway oh what a shame Austin Hill made it past the first lap this week ry's trying to block the Power Bomb he's got Gunther up on his back in an electric chair position more like an Alabama slam position I should say come on Randy get him he's got a power bomb Randy on that bad back again one two no Randy Orton kicks out oh you might can't believe I'm saying this but the eight car has to have a good points day to get ahead of SE SE is TLT Samy is 10th Samy was 15 points behind it coming into this race and right now he'd get a stage Point well the points add up this week's gonna be a good week y'all football starts Thursday hey the 31's back on track 20 laps down or whatever he is some early attrition in this race ry's clearing off the German announce table Sam mayor is reeling in Christopher Bell that's promising Bell is obviously the got to beat today and Sam Mayer drove away he got past Creed and just drove away and we still got 17 to go in this stage Bell's car is starting to get a little loose let's see if the one hunts him down on the straightaway here he does 20 got loose off of turn four he sees that one car coming Sam mayor has been feast or famine this year oh 20 car loose again right that time in the middle of turn two he's going to lose the lead right here 21 right on his bumper two his inside I don't think Bill's going to put up much of a fight he knows his car swung loose the one's coming on strong the one kind of overd drove the corner he gets away with it he over drove the corner but he held on to it the 20 couldn't cross him over so Sam Mayer took the lead wow a lead changed yeah that was a risky move especially this early in the race Bill didn't you know send it around the top as hard as he would have late in the race and mayor gets away with it Bell's car was just too loose to get off the corner to get back by him y 20's too loose very fast but a little too loose caution caution caution what's what's going on what happened now debris piece of metal right in the racing Groove here well right below the racing Groove but guys do run that low so you see cars coming into the corner now miss running that l so we have a caution and with 15 to go you're still going to stay out here on this old ass set of tires I think maybe the guys that aren't even going to have a chance to win want to burn a set here I don't know if you're gonna win the race you're gonna stay out here and Jeff Burton brought up a good point I was thinking the same thing he beat me to it SE who is fighting for a playoff spot on points pit here tear through this field get into the top 10 get by the eight car and pad that Gap and the points a little more I don't think the 39's going to be a race winning Contender today not with mayor and Bell showing the speed they have and allar I think will be a factor by the end of this God Randy Orton and gther still God Randy Orton just put Gunther through the German announce table side suplex from The Ring steps through the German announce table Randy Orton's going to that place Christopher Bell acted like he was going to pit that was weird nobody's pitting not a soul some cars that are already lapsed down that have had trouble are pitting again Burton was really hoping SE would take the tires if I was them I would have Randy Orton's got the apron to avoid him and that let Austin Hill close in who's under half a second now ay boy well Samy Smith's plus four over SE now he was minus 15 Sammy Smith up to sixth he's got a good car at the end of the stage he's got to fight for every spot though it matters trust me this matters I don't see SE anywhere near the top 10 now we're three to go Hills putting pressure on Bill Bill's car is really loose I don't think he can hang on here there's two to go the Super Speedway Merchant's going to get him a stage win at Darlington he gained a lot of time when the 20 had to check up for the one 20 God look how sideways he is in the center of the corner 21 really loose again on the bottom 21 didn't really carry a good run off he got really loose on the outside as well one to go maybe the spin it's almost inevitable that time the 18 gained a couple T it's it's down to 1.3 now he's gonna get there what's he gonna do when he gets there though Creed has done some spectacular things late in these races with a chance to win I was at Darlington when he had the battle with Larson and Noah greggson I was at that race one of the craziest races I've ever watched in person when we go to Charlotte ced's had to have been charging hard here I just it's not going to be easy for him to get by Bell but it's not going to be easy for Bell to hold him off based on what we've seen from bail early in the race late in runs down to a second 13 to go down the back and the lead's just under a second well the good news is Cowboy told us sitting past the trioval so if a car goes through the
