hi everyone and welcome to my eybm career passport video to start this one i'm gonna wait well you don't know me so first i'm gonna introduce myself first of all i am a university student completing my degree in marketing and entrepreneurship also i'm a cheese scout in my hometown consequently a nhl lover i am also a musician initially a pianist but sometimes i like strumming my guitar also concerning my work experience my very first job was in the event and audio visual industry as a stage technician i then transitioned to the tourism industry where i did an internship in marketing finally i had the opportunity to work in a bank in the cards department i am also very much captivated by planning and organizing events which is why i initially made a stadium in my lego representation of myself which basically represents an event venue so here it is now you know me better well within this video you will have the opportunity to witness my use of the employability tool i'm gonna talk to you about my time in the enhancing your business mind module also about my wonderful adventure at curtin mauritius university i'm gonna also discuss a bit about my future plans specifically my career plans and also send a message to myself in 5 years but first let's open my wallet full of good things well basically for my employability tool that you can see here you will notice that somehow i'm an all-rounder however i have my strengths and also my weaknesses my strength or may or mainly based on the ethical socio-cultural literature such as this book robin sharma and also seminars which i attended such as 7 habits of highly effective people because this is mainly what i'm interested in too i do a lot of social activities i like meeting people and discovering new cultures and also you can see that the rhetorical part of it is also as strong as the cultural one because i'm also a very logic person however there are weaknesses also that is of course the occupational uh literature i'm during my time at university i wasn't much concerned about what is happening uh after i leave and time goes by so fast and now we're here and i'm going to document a bit more on what are my opportunities in fact i already do this is why my employability to slightly change for a bit more uh occupational literature but still have some efforts to do on it but what was surprising is that it was really reflecting myself most on what is the study of people on the social and it's not a problem but we're gonna move on on what we call occupational literature for what's coming next uh let's be ready so now let's speak about my time in enhancing your business mind module well had a great time sincerely the fact that it's it's a module that doesn't have any syllabus and doesn't put too much weight on the student was very nice exceptionally for someone who is finishing his degree what i learned from it maybe not learned but reminded such as the ethics i really liked the activity where you had to take choices and assume your choices also i also enjoyed really enjoyed working in teams and team management on some activities like the spaghetti tower and also i realized that maybe that's a downside of my my car my of my profit university but a very good side to the module that i had the opportunity to do activities to play to have fun to reflect with people that i've been working with during three years but didn't especially talk with so um that was a nice module maybe didn't learn a lot from it but it was placed at the right moment during my university degree well now let's talk about my time at curtin mauritius quite frankly it was three years it was great time i mean totally different from what i know before and i met a lot a lot of beautiful people who have had the the opportunity to work with to discuss with and also leave great moments in my personal life of course things weren't always rosy as you can see it there was the kobe 19 however i would like to personally thank the universe the university of curtin for basically giving me a a smooth transition i had no real issues with that basically in my major also sometimes i question myself was it the right degree and finally yeah garman says at the end sincerely it was i got the opportunity to meet a lot of managers and entrepreneurs and also had the opportunity to virtually set up nearly five or six companies well what could i have done uh different maybe meet a lot more of people sometimes i had my group of friends and we were always together but maybe um i could have met more people so now what's for the future well regarding this question i had the opportunity to do an discipline in the uibn module that you can see here as you can see highlighted in my odc plan there is the desire to travel this is why at the end of the semester my logo representation was an airplane ready to fly however you might notice the little coconut tree behind as it is a symbol of how my life here is sweet if ever i don't manage to travel for the first part of my career plan in five years time i should have already started my master's degree this is very important for me because having this bachelor is is great but as i as a dream as an ambition i want to become a manager tomorrow and even an entrepreneur in the in the future so that's why it's very important for me to do a master's degree else i want to travel i made my studies here in mauritius which is my home country i really enjoyed it i had three wonderful years however i think it's now time to expand my vision of the world well the most important part of my career plan is finding a job and maybe with the experience game one day set up my own enterprise now finishing this video i'm gonna send a message to myself in five years what i want to tell you is that all you plan even if you achieve ten percent of what you you you initially planified well it's great trust in yourself and also a little message from myself now leaving university well a message for myself in five years time well boy um there are of course ups and downs in life but you know you're not alone your family is with you god's with you um and just remember the words of your father if you do things with love they turn out fine and as you know life is a highway so give you all the best [Music] [Applause] [Music] you
