While events have been happening all day at Grand Haven's annual Coast Guard fest. People from all over are getting ready to witness one of the most highly anticipated events as organizers mark 100 years 13 on your side's Jeremiah Brown joins us. Now, live from Coast Guard. Jeremiah looks like a lot of fun where you are, Josh. What a great day. This is. We're live just outside Waterfront Stadium where the doors open just a little over an hour ago, we were able to chat with some of the first people who got inside. Many of them are waiting as long as 2 to 3 hours to get their favorite seat for the most anticipated drone show tonight. There's people all across downtown who are getting their seats out and getting their spot ready. So they have a, a nice view right now. Crowds are enjoying some music from the live show that's being emceed by our very own chief, meteorologist George lessons all around Grand Haven. Today. There is nothing but excitement. We've spoken to people who have traveled back home to Grand Haven from Atlanta. People who are here for the first time and people who have been coming their whole lives to tell us this year has exceeded their expectations. People here tell us it's a week where those who have roots in Grand Haven travel from all over the country to be in their hometown. Everyone we spoke with is happy to see such a large celebration for our United States Coast Guard as well. With this being the 1/100 anniversary of the festival organizers say adding the drone show ups, the celebration for everyone. Everybody in Grand Haven is so supportive of the Coast Guard. We have our own Coast Guard station here and the public. It it was something that we could do for the public as well. So, you know, you don't have to buy a ticket to see this drone show. You will be able to see it from pretty much anywhere in downtown Greenhaven. And right now you are looking at some of the work done by Starlight Aerial productions who are putting on the show tonight. Those who were able to catch last night's show say it was spectacular. All tickets for the stadium have been sold out. There's still plenty of time to get out here before 10 o'clock and get a nice view for yourself here in Grand Haven right now, live from the Centennial Coast Guard Festival. I'm Jeremiah Brown 13 on your side.
