Caitlin Clark gets accused of stat padding late in game by Angel Reese fanbase.

so Caitlyn Clark she's being applauded for not stat batting which is very interesting man which is just shows how bizarre world this league is sometimes um we all know about angel Reese in the stat pad and she did and I don't have a problem with that man I'm telling you man I don't have a problem with certain stat P I don't have a problem with a guy who's um you know trying to get a 100 yards in a in a football game he's got you know 88 yards and it's like and he's got he's say he at 91 games where he's had 100 yards and the record is 11 and he's got 88 yards and it's like three four minutes in the fourth quarter and they're getting blown out and there's no way they can win but he wants to go in and get this 12 yards so he can get the record I don't have a problem with that okay baseball is the king of stat pad man I mean they stat pad like crazy in baseball it's almost stat padding is literally part of the game I mean guys always trying to you know break home run records hits stolen base records those when they have no chance of winning winning the team's terrible I don't have a problem with that stuff the thing with Angel Reese stat pent was just it got to a point where it felt like the refs were helping her and the other teams were helping her the ref were calling fouls on her late in the game to get her to the line other teams were fing her intentionally and sometimes letting her score the statisticians were giving her rebounds that you know were questionable um and well one time they gave her a rebound that was questionable she's a dog on the board she gets her boards but that one time where she got the board and she landed out of bounds that she only had 10 rebounds that night now here's the thing about that I don't have a problem with stat padding it goes on on all levels we never talk about it we're only talking about it because these girls are so wildly popular um if you're going to do it on your own I have no problem with it if you're doing it with assistance from other players statisticians and refs I I have a problem with it um Caitlyn last night with uh I think about 15 seconds left in the game they crossed half court she had 29 Points she could have got a 30 piece with a shot and listen it Caitlyn never this was never even a question I don't know why people are shocked by this but the internet is giving her her flowers for not stat padding but she never would do anything like this man she would never do anything like this she has first of all she has so many records like she has so many records she has almost all of the women's college basketball records she has almost all of the rookie records except for rebounding in WNBA history this is old hat to her this is not like a big deal this is every time she steps on the court she breaks a new record so this is just she she has that whereas another player who was getting a chance to just break a record and it was a rare thing for them in their career they may have a different orientation to that and have wanted to you know what I'm saying take a you know take a shot here so they could get x amount of points and out out out it but Caitlyn having broken every record in college and every record is WNBA rookie record it's just there's no re it doesn't even cross her mind and I don't think regardless of that I think even if she didn't have all those records she wouldn't do nothing like that I think this is just some people taking a dig at Angel this is a way for people to you know take a shot at Angel you was shooting that angel with this man um this one says not that her last assist wasn't a blatant stat pad to get the double double or anything even the announcers called it out by the way I'm not mad well listen man I mean you with like two minutes left the game you're allowed to score you don't have to run the clock out with two minutes left in the game now 15 seconds in the game and you're up nine this is this is a ridiculous this this is this some chick though but you don't understand like you can score two even like you can score this this this running out the clock is only something in the last few seconds of a non contested game you know what I'm saying of a game that's you know there's no chance for the other team to win um so she says even the announcers called it out by the way I'm not mad when they do it just call out calling out the double standard the gold post keeps moving she's talking about that assist that she when kayn drove to the Baseline and Kaylee cut down the center of the lane and kayn dished it to her and k um and and and Kelsey um made the layup I was like I was like like a minute and a half left in the game they're allowed to keep scoring man this happened with 52 seconds left in the game 52 seconds in a seven-point game so so Caitlyn's supposed to just dribble the ball out here give it back to Phoenix they come down here to three now it's 9094 with like 40 seconds left yo some of these people man they just don't like they they hate Caitlyn so much man um what is she supposed to do now she's being criticized for setting her teammate up with a bucket with 55 seconds left in a seven-point game true she got credited with a turnover for dribbling out the basketball F they love that y'all should love that that was a turnover man that was a shot clock violation man when she dribbled out the basketball at the end of the end of the game man that was a shot clock violation man turn over man this one says even with these great stats instead of congratulating her appraising you bring up the other rookie rentree again this gu this one says she stat padded to get her 10th assist wide open at the rim and passed straight to Kelsey Mitchell so okay so some people are saying that at that point Caitlyn Clark had 29 Points and nine assist so if she shoots it she gets a 30 piece and that's a stat pad she passes it to Kelsey she gets 10 assists to double double that's a stat pad so she's stat pading by closing out the game man wow wow this is this is absolutely amazing man um wow this is listen and this is what this is good for the league man that people are at least talking about man last thing you want is for people to not even if people are gonna say stupid stuff it's better than them saying nothing like the Olympics like a chronicled at the Olympics no one was judging that Olympic team like this until the France game which was the championship game before the France game they got none of this no one was micromanaging um dissecting every move that uh those player Asia Wilson and Banna Stuart made no one car so this is good that this is great this is why some of this stuff that the leag complains about they whine and cry about is actually good this is the LeBron treatment this is the the big Serbian treatment man this is the treatment that you know KD G this is what you get the Jason Tatum treatment this is what you get this is good for your Le he said if that was doooo Barbie she would she would have done anything for that last Point to P stats he's talking about um when Caitlyn dribbled out the clock um yeah so um a lot it's a mix bag here some people crediting her for but actually like every player in the league I think would have done um I think even Angel ree just dribbles out the ball here if she has 29 and 10 I don't think Angel Reese now now Angel ree had 11 and nine and needed No 9 and 11 and needed a bucket yeah she probably tried to shoot it yeah yeah definitely facts um so yeah I be there is that yeah if Angel re if Angel re had nine points or eight points she would yeah she would shoot yes I'll give you that um but the assist with 55 seconds to go to to to Kelsey Mitchell in a seven-point game come on man stop it man just stop it stop it
