out dealer Tech caught abusing customers Toyota gr Corolla this is unbelievable this is unreal okay it even says on a dash avoid except excessive acceleration due to temperatures what it says on the dash okay he's got warnings lighting up all over on this thing uh footage shows an employee employee violently stalling the cars they practiced on manual ring it past 5,000 RPMs on a cold start look just watch this it's interesting and I love the way the drive writes this article okay because we know what Toyota's been doing with their warranty on the Corolla okay they remember I put out the video of two people had corolla's catch on fire and Toyota denied them warranty said they went over 85 miles hour and they refused to do anything about it for them on brand new vehicles but the Toyota gr Corolla a once in a generation car that should shouldn't be trashed or thrashed on by anyone but its owner perhaps doubly so given how Toyota has been handling its engine problems under warranty I love that I straight up love that okay um well it gets worse okay this dealer teac is revving a be Jesus out of this thing on a cold start it's all on video he catches it on his camera in his car what's going on with this thing Kan it was just a week ago that this happened the in incidents was captured on LS 44 who uploaded the footage to their YouTube channel and uh and arrives to us the way of motor 1 in a video description the owner says they took their newly purchased car to the dealerships for its first service where the dash cam caught a technician who operated the manual who couldn't operate the manual transmission mistreating their car the tech can be seen in the video which we cannot see um the tech can be seen repeatedly violently stalling the car revs the engine while it's cold all the while a notification on the instrument panel warns against heavy acceleration acceleration and by extension any extreme treatment of the engine on sub subsequent on more startups God these stupid words subsequent okay my God like I said I I I hate words um start by subsequent startup um another by another tech they accelerated hard in first gear reaching more than 5,000 RPMs on a cold start they then revved it uh before repeatedly killing the ignition which on some older models is very bad to do to a turbo you can't get a turbo burning hot and then shut it down okay it just doesn't work that way uh it was uploaded they say on here too uh in the grand scheme of things it's like unlikely these TCH will lose their job for these Antics had they gone out and cracked 100 miles per hour or more like 85 on a gr gorilla's case again a hit towards Toyota's stupid way they handle their uh their warranties it might be another story but good mechanics are hard to replace so slap on a wrist and a warranty extension might be all that happens here if anything at all but how sad how stupid ridiculous this is just insane um I cannot see on here an odometer being shown on here that's showing me I don't know where the odometer is on here but I can't see how many miles are on this but for his first service and this thing gets treated like this unbelievable just unbelievable next one on our list here before we get to the main topic um what for surprise uh Ford surprise cancellation of EV production in favor of profitable ice engine means for the industry we know that Ford okay in Ontario their Oakville plant they have decided to stop producing EVS there so they can make uh heavy duty trucks HDs okay Super Duties and we know that was happening okay and they're say they're doing it because it's more profitable there's demand for the Superduty more so than there's demand for the EVS okay and also GM said the same thing it's going to trim down his forecast EV production in 2024 by 50,000 nobody wants the EVS the the demand is shrinking after the pandemic there was a huge exuberance another stupid word around e and I think that uh a lot of Manufacturers thought that growth was going to continue and it didn't okay but the reality is that it's not the case and it's a smart move to make sure you're not losing market share and in internal combustion engines love hearing that I'm sick of this EV push I'm sick of it according to times 270,000 EVS were sold in the first quarter of 2024 that is a 7.3 decrease from last quarter of 20 23 okay so that's down okay so that's what they're talking about uh okay why is a slowing at production of of electric vehicles concerning cuz this company this the cool down is all about electric vehicles they want to push electrical Vehicles other than that it's not concerning for any of us stop trying to tell us what we want and just give us what we want even there what's being done about the slow of electrical vehicle demand what there should be nothing done we're choosing not to buy them no but the administration politically remains committed to ramping up vehicle production for Ev production it recently pledged almost two billion to support EV um auto manufacturers and workers other companies and states are trying to find ways to provot promote buying more EVS to keep them cheaper and avoid these issues associated with public charging stations again you can do whatever you want but it boils down the fact that we just don't want them as much as you people think we want them and stop trying to push them down our throat they're not for everybody and the people that want one they're got one or they're going to get one okay there's no reason to make it seem like we can't have our gas engines I'm so fed up with the EV push big one we got going on here ram ram ram ram good news is it's just a software fix but Ram is recalling 1.5 million that's a lot okay remember that uh there there's a lot of recalls going on for Motors 100,000 here uh you know 100,000 there but Ram is recalling 1.5 million pickup trucks over a software issue that can cause an incident here okay it's for the electronic stability control right here and it can disable that and it needs to be working and it can cause you some issues and it can also cause problems with the antilock brake software that may actually accidentally shut down the vehicle's ESC and that system is designed to pre prevent the car from losing control by controlling the vehicle throttle and brakes when skating is detected that is your ESC electronic stability control it is not working on these um the rest this article doesn't really give us much of anything here there's no info other than they reached out to stantis no additional information well we have a way of finding other information we can go right to Nitsa and that's what we're doing right here let's go over to Nitsa I did not go into this yet so I could start it here for you all we did was go to Nitsa and we typed in in the look up a vehicle thing here on n's page we typed in 2023 Ram 1500 quad cab four-wheel drive we scroll down here to the bottom where it's got recalls okay we got seven of them September fifth is this one disabled electronic stabilizer control so let's click on the plus button see what we got on here summary okay it's recalling 2020 or 2019s skipping into 2020s it looks like and then you're going 2021 through 2024 so if you got a 2019 or a 2021 through 2024 Ram 1500 due to a software malfunction anti-lock brake system control module May disable ESC and such vehicle may may fail to to comply with requirements under the federal motor vehicle safety standard number 126 ESC systems okay remedy dealers will update the ABS control module software free of charge owners will be notified by mail on by October 3rd um you may also contact these guys to get it done if you want this direct number I would jump on this I would see if you can get in there before October 3rd cuz once these letters start going out you got 1.5 million of these that are going to have to hit the dealership for this recall for the and unfortunately there's no parts involved but the and it's not a big deal not even a little bit but it sucks that it's 1.5 million it sucks that it's another hit for Ram it sucks anytime somebody's got to deal with the recall but you are going to have 1.5 million Ram trucks racing to the dealers in the beginning of October when they get this letter in the mail to get their vehicle fixed call this number or call your dealership which probably already has this fixed for it and you can get this recall done as soon as possible and maybe get a jump start and not have to deal with this fact if number affected vehicle says here is 1.2 million this one says 1.5 nits says 1.2 but either way there's a lot of them this way you can get it solved ahead of time uh any questions let me know any
