[Music] Special Report it is uh 10:30 and uh we are uh going to tell you what's happening down at Chattanooga State uh our news Partners at locco 3 are reporting that Chattanooga State is on lockdown uh this uh the main campus is on lock down until further notice I'm directly quoting now from Chattanooga State Chattanooga State on lockdown until further notice stay indoors go into the nearest room and lock the door there is uh a lot of speculation at this hour we will not enter into that however uh what is confirmed is there is a credible threat uh our news Partners at local 3 are using that terminology there is a credible threat at uh chatt State Community College this morning they sent an alert to the um uh to the entire uh school campus to the entire uh basically the uh the entire student body that sort of thing but chattanoga state is using the terminology actually a credible threat uh at chattanoga State uh Community College uh that is uh that is in progress It's forc the lockdown of the campus I'm going to go back uh I'm going to read directly from Chattanooga State uh this was 20 minutes ago uh they say quote as the situation continues to unfold please remain in your lockdown status until further notice if anyone is experiencing a medical emergency or personal crisis please notify campus security immediately and they say they are going to keep uh people updated we're coming on the air this morning uh again uh students and staff at Chattanooga State are being asked to get indoors and lock the door again students and staff at Chattanooga State Community College are being asked to get I'm quoting now directly quoting uh get ins get indoors and lock the door so that is what we know at the present time yes there is a lot of speculation happening but we are only going to deal in uh in what is official uh they are using the term a credible threat using the term a credible threat and at this moment we do not know more than that okay so if you're just joining us uh 33 minutes after 10:00 in the morning on this Thursday chattano State Community College is on lockdown students faculty and um and and staff of Chattanooga State Community College received what they call a tiger alert that's their mascot a tiger alert at around 10:00 this morning and basically saying the main cap quote the main campus is on lock down until further notice stay indoors go into the nearest room and lock the door and then we are understanding it is a credible threat at uh at Chattanooga State so that is happening obviously there are a lot of Cleveland people uh Bradley County people involved there let's also uh read the statement from Chattanooga State if you're watching us on mix tv.tv right now you see the statement if you're listening on the radio uh have actually uh this well this is their statement as the uh quote as the situation continues to unfold please remain in your lockdown status until further notice if anyone is experiencing medical emergency or personal crisis please notify campus security immediately thank you for your patience and cooperation we will continue to keep you updated that is uh the statement from uh Chattanooga State uh Community College so that is what we know we're going to uh be monitoring this situation uh with our news Partners at local 3 also with uh of course monitoring uh Chattanooga State and uh what they are putting out uh but at the present time like I said lots of speculation right now uh we are we will only uh uh deal in fact and what we know officially uh yes uh they're using the term credible threat uh they are also they being Chattanooga State they have used the language and this is obviously disturbing uh what they are saying they've locked the campus down but they have told students and staff at Chattanooga State quote get indoors and lock the door get indoors and lock the door I thought I had another update there uh we are we are live here so let me um okay that is that is where we are right now so that is the very latest like I said we're going to stay on top of this we will break back in uh if we have uh as as we get more information we're going to break in the
