Report alleges assault on 98-year-old mother

Tonight, we have information now on an incident report filed by Lexington deputies involving Roxanne Wilson. She's the wife of second district congressman, Joe Wilson. The incident report alleges she made her 98 year old mother take medication by force at the Columbia Presbyterian Community Care Center. Back on September 29th, medical technicians telling investigators that Roxanne Wilson told her mother she was going to take the medicine and forced it into her mouth with a fork. They also claim she forced water into her mother's mouth until she choked. The report says that the facility wanted, uh Wilson put on trespass notice, but that she didn't want to leave until the care until the caregiver arrived. She later left without incident. No charges had been filed in connection with the incident. We did reach out to representatives for both Congressman Wilson and the couple's son, State Attorney General Allen Wilson, but have not yet gotten a response.
