man you know um especially this brother's from the same state as me um so it's just one of those stories where it's hard to you know just speak on man but all I can say is jealousy and envy is a is a terrible thing man but um DeAndre Overton man you know former star wide receiver for the uh Clemson Tigers man um you know he was recently killed over this past weekend and it's just it's just crazy man but let's get into the article it says DeAndre Overton a wide receiver who was a part of two national title winning Clemson teams was shot and killed during an early Saturday morning shooting in Greensboro North Carolina the Guilford County of Sheriff's announced Overton was 26 years old according to a gcso press release deputies responded to a noise disturbance call at 2:30 a.m. eastern time as they as they were in route they were informed that a shooting had taken place Overton was identified after they arrived and he was pronounced dead at the scene after receiving immediate Medical Aid police are investigating and say that they believe his incident is isolated Clemson football and the entire Clemson family Mourns the passing of Clemson alumnus DeAndre Overton our thoughts are with his family and friends you know that's what they said on Twitter but uh man it's just you know it's one of those things man where you can't even go back to your old hood you know because jealousy and envy is is is is a terrible thing I guarantee you this was somebody he knew or this was somebody who knew of him but you know um you can't come back they know who you're DeAndre to them you're DeAndre Overton Clemson standout you know you're playing in the UFL now you're doing your thing you're living your dream you're getting a play a sport that you grew up on you know Tune In Tune In Tune in you get to play a sport that you grew up on a sport that you love and you get to make money you guys probably all started out together playing football peeee you know what I'm saying when y'all was little but you are the one that made it you had the gift and now they envy and hate you because of your abilities because of how who you are we can't even go to our own neighborhoods Man without getting killed now I guarantee you and people can debate I guarantee you he could have went to a white neighborhood or whatever it may have been the most they might do if they feel like they suspicious is called a cops on him but when we around our own people oh man it's it's even worse man we can't we can't even be around our own people because they say oh you trying to flex on me and then people have a nerve to say that the wiie Lynch letter was not real come on bro come on man that Wily Lynch letter is real as man listen bro it is as real as you hear my voice speaking right now this brother got killed for nothing I guarantee you it was over jealousy and envy because these people like man you know I ain't got nothing I ain't got this but I had the same same opportunities as you they had the same 24 hours you 7 days a week 365 days a year but they did not put the work in that DeAndre probably put in and now they hate you for it and make you suffer for it so now they take an innocent life for no reason jealousy and envy in the in the in in the black community is is has always ran rampant it has always ran rampant and this is a prime example a brother coming back to where he played School football coming out of paig high school coming out of Paige high school to go to Clemson University which is one of the top the top football programs in the country and his brother lost his life see this is why some people don't like to go to house Parts this is why they say sometimes as if you're a popular person you have to be very careful of the moves you make and where you are and if you are you you need to have a bunch of security but even that's still a risk you have to be very very mind F of who you around oh I went to school with bro hey you got to be careful yo we played on the same team in 7eventh grade you got to be careful we ate lunch together we had PE you got to be careful this brother had so much promise and still so much talent left and now it's gone at the age always that one it's all somebody's always just hating and you got to be careful man because some people for as many people that love you it's it's a thousand more that can't stand you and they can't
