tonight in prime time it's the number nine ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish taking on The Undefeated Northern Illinois Huskies he said he's seen so much potential from them in the up ahe header and it slips wide Irish lead and just a great kick to the lower left by restovich really securing another goal for her on the season creeping closer to Izzy angles team lead and just looking back at it again she just his perfect placement getting it to the lower left corner and the goalie just Dives the complete wrong way and he said for this season his goal is to try to win the mat conference he's really passionate that his team will have a great success meanwhile angle sneaks one in and it's two nothing Irish The Freshman standout continues her hot streak making it her seventh goal of the Season she couldn't let rest ofit try to catch her lead at all this is just another example of angle coming in and using her aggression to just outwork the defender she completely beat her to the ball and makes anything she can get on the ball to try to get it in the back of the net just when you thought angle couldn't get any a hotter how about through the five [Applause] hole yes right as I said that angle put it away eight goals on the season now for the Freshman [Applause] star the turnover play is huge for Notre Dame and the ball just bounces back and she just finds it off of this play it was a bad touch that just kind of ended up right in front of her and she just gets it in the back of the net and honestly that's all you can ask for from a forward she doesn't need to have pretty goals she just needs to have goals on the score sheet that means she puts the ball in the back of the net replacing angle is Lily Joseph who's seen plenty of action today now another run from the Irish good speed here on the outside back to the middle it's Joseph a strong shot and it goes off the deflection it was [Applause] Joseph and an incredible goal again from another freshman making it an all freshman goal scoring game again and Joseph picks up her second goal of the Season Joseph been in the mix all day for the Irish it was about time she got in the mix on a goal yeah and just a bouncing ball deflex off an NIU Defender and just ends up in the back of the net as you see these balls are just extremely dangerous in the box and that one just finds the back of the net yeah and looking at this game it is a strong and dominant 40 performance for the Irish with goals by all freshman two by Izzy Engel one by restovich and one by Joseph
