Intro ladies and gentlemen boys and girls today I have the absolute privilege to be talking about one of the best high school prospects that we have ever seen who is still riding the bench yep that's right we are talking about Arch Manning yeah you probably recognize that last name from his uncles Eli and Payton but is this kid actually any good I mean we were talking about a kid who's only thrown five balls for two completions for 30 yards how good could this kid actually be well I'm going to be getting into that but before we do make sure you head down there subscribe cuz I've got a ton more football content to come now let's go take a look look at how this kid grew up Arch Manning grew up in a Growing up very athletic family obviously his dad was an All-Star wide receiver in high school and had a scholarship to play for Old Miss when he started to get this tingling feeling in his hands now after further inspection the doctors diagnosed Cooper oh yeah that's his dad's name by the way with spinal stenosis so unfortunately Cooper would never play football professionally again now Arch's mother was also quite the athlete Ellen Manning was a state championship MVP volleyball player which is likely one of the reasons why Mr Manning had his eyes on her nice going Coupe Arch also had two siblings a sister following in her mother's footsteps and playing volleyball for the University of Virginia and a younger brother hide who is a very talented offensive lineman playing in high school currently and then of course there's Arch Arch was not allowed to play football growing up due to his parents fearing an injury with their experiences so Arch played flag football and developed as a pastor until middle school many people thought this may stun Arch's development but I think he has actually proven them wrong in High School Archer's first snap with the first team in high school he threw an absolute abolute bomb for a 50-yard touchdown after recognizing a switch to man coverage and Arch became one of his High School's first ever freshman quarterbacks to be name the quarterback one in his first season he put up nearly 2500 yards and 34 touchdowns as the media absolutely fell in love with this kid I mean this kid was in Sports Illustrated in high school high school at that age I was as happy if a girl in my class even knew my name let alone Sports Illustrated now Arch began to get interest from several colleges around the nation as coaches long to have a piece of the Manning Legacy but what makes Arch Manning so different he showed his maturity by being able to avoid social media and not let the fame get to his head even to this day the only thing that Archer really cares about is football and development which led him to the school where he is at now but more on that to come later in Arch sophomore year in high school he threw for 1,00 passing yards 21 touchdowns but show his versatility On The Ground by adding another eight rushing touchdowns Manning in his Junior season put up nearly 1900 yards 26 touchdowns and over 350 rushing yards with another seven rushing touchdowns which earned him away onto the 2021 first team All State team College recruitment this also made Arch the top recruit in the nation out of every single position in football but this is also the time when Arch started to receive a lot of push back he was playing in a high school division considered to be one of the lowest levels of football and Arch never really saw Elite Talent until the playoffs where he struggled in one playoff game he completed only seven passes for 49 yards but with the maning name and the high IQ of football practically every College in the nation still wanted Arch the Texas Longhorns decide to spend over a quarter million to host Arch and a few other prospects on a visit to their facilities where they would try to persuade the players to sign with them now for Arch this definitely sealed the deal Arch committed to Texas Just 4 days after the Senior Year visit Arch went on to shut the heaters up then in his senior year of high school putting up 2,300 yards 34 touchdowns with only two interceptions oh yeah and he rushed for another six touchdowns me come on by the time Arch was done in high school he had thrown for more yards and touchdowns than both of his uncles Eli and pton Manning he also showed he was a more proficient rusher with over 1100 yards and 25 touchdowns on the ground so why is Arch College Manning right in the bench then you can blame that on one man by the name of Quinn e ERS is another five-star recruit from the top of the nation who is 2 years older than Arch Arch was given the opportunity to battle for the quarterback one spot on the roster But ultimately eers has been and still will be the number number one quarterback for Texas until he leaves for the draft after this season this time serving as a backup has definitely not been all bad Outro though Arch is a very analytical player and has had time to sit out of the spotlight and observe coaching film and receive mentorship from ERS until his time comes to start for Texas I mean in the meantime really all we can do is wait to see if Arch is really that Elite prospect that we saw in high school or if he's being propped up by the Manning last name and by his weak competition now I want to hear what you guys have to
