Cleveland Weather: Summer humidity returns bringing showers for Sunday

Help. You can see. It looks like the crowd was fantastic seventies, maybe into the eighties, but it looks like the heat's gonna get turned up a little bit for any festivals or celebrations moving forward. Yeah. Uh Today was the finish line when it comes to the cult of Bel Air. It we did warm up into the mid eighties. So above average temperatures there already making their presence known. But uh Peter uh we, we gotta, we gotta humble ourselves here when it comes to the heat. Yes, things are ramping back up. But this is just an interesting little tidbit that came across my social media uh pages, Phoenix Arizona. Yes, they are typically uh they, they used to use some hotter temperatures but 90 days back to back 100 degree heat for us. Just 11 days of 90 degree heat and our average is about nine days per year. So to put things into perspective, it could be worse compared to Phoenix Arizona in the middle of August. But hey, we're gonna be adding on to that, unfortunately, especially as we go through our time, Sunday. Uh not that bad, although the due points are gonna be ramping back up alone with some small storm chances Monday, Tuesday and any day beyond that low nineties, a good possibility and you couple that with the humidity, it's gonna feel closer to the century mark. So get prepared to sweat. If not, we're gonna be talking about some rain chances. Right now. I'm still considering about a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms for tomorrow. That will continue for Tuesday all into midweek. So we're gonna be dodging the heat and also po potentially some afternoon showers and thunderstorms, high pressure has been our friend all day long, keeping the humidity and ch and keeping the skies clear up to the north. We do have a minor disturbance. You can just see how this strough is working through and that's gonna provide a little bit more lift across the north coast and that's gonna give us that small chance of showers and storms. In fact, uh, some of these storms could be on the stronger side from Detroit down to southwest Pennsylvania. We're looking at a very low wind threat outlined from the storm prediction center of stronger storm and some of these storms could be packing a punch brief them to wind gusts and also some small size hail pretty much between 10 and eight o'clock for tomorrow throughout the peak heating time of the day. So let's time things out. What's your hour hour forecast? Here's this day break tomorrow, partly cloudy skies here's your chance those showers as we approach midday throughout the day, more scattered showers are gonna be likely again, about a 30 to 40% chance coverage wide as we continue throughout the afternoon. By tomorrow evening, showers are gonna be possible. They're gonna be hanging around much of the area. But, uh, again, a lot of dry time just keeping a close eye to the Wkyc app, we have the interactive radar on there. If you do have any outdoor plans throughout the day, then Monday morning, some showers gonna be likely. So again, keeping a close eye to the skies. If you have plans to head out to the Guardians game, it's a 12 o'clock pitch, 140. We're looking at isolated showers and it's gonna be warmer. Upper eighties, summer is not done and unfortunately, the summer heat and humidity is gonna be long standing as I was mentioning earlier, checking out the muggy meter. We're gonna be hanging out in the sixties to tropical air through midweek. So one of these days, if not Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, it will feel closer to the century mark. Here's your union homework. Its 10 day outlook. Upper eighties, low nineties, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, periodic chances of showers and storms. Then a much needed cold front will be arriving as we, as we approach Labor Day weekend, upper seventies, low eighties peter. That's more like it. Nothing helps keep things in perspective with the weather than a graphic that says it could always be worse. Anthony Copeland, keeping us humble in northeast Ohio. If it gets hot we'll survive no triple digit heat. That's right. Thank you, Anthony.
