back in the locker room coach Jamie Dixon implored his team to take care of of the basketball after nine turnovers in that first half most of which were from just lacad isical passes thrown basically right to Baylor Defenders when they did take care of the ball though the frogs got good looks at the basket they just weren't able to convert as frequently as they would wanted to but they if they get those same looks in the second half they'll likely shoot better than they did in the first half which was only 29.6% defensively coach Dixon praised the Frog's tenacity limiting Baylor to only 30.8% from the field themselves really ugly game so far for both teams in the first half the Bears only made one of their last 13 shots as both teams struggled to score in fact Baylor didn't score the last 458 but the frogs also struggled failing to score in the last 611 of the first half so every possession here in the second half is going to be critical to see who comes out on top in this game so this was not a pretty shooting half for either side Baylor shoots 31% from the floor 8 of 26 TCU 30% 8 of 27 the difference though Beyond The Arc Baylor 5 of 14 36% the frogs 0 of eight from three TCU made up a little bit of the difference at the free throw line making seven of eight trips to the strike Baylor with five of 14 from the line on the boards just about even Baylor 19 TCU 18 there Second
