also too let's transition to the opposite side you know a move that happened during the off season that a lot of people was like okay yeah this should be good but I think it's gonna be huge Allen Robinson you know what have you seen from Alan Robertson so far throughout this entire off-season regiment off-season period and what are your expectations for him because you know still is he I think he's more than a serviceable guy he can be a big time contributor didn't really put the numbers that we thought he would do with the Rams last year but heck everything they had going on was kind of a disappointment but how has he looked uh well you know they had disappointed yeah yeah what's up with uh Robinson how he's been living I mean Allen Robinson has been looking great is it Alan Robinson the third one yeah I know he got a couple of dashes behind his name but yeah Alan been a great man you know uh to see him getting back into the thick of things obviously dealing with some injuries last year with the Rams did like you said didn't have the season uh Allen Robinson the second uh did end up having a season that he wanted to have in the Rams um uh in totality as well but seeing him out on the field moving around he's been he's been moving around great and that's good what's going to be crazy is to see when we see Pat when we see uh Deontay when we got dog on uh uh uh uh Greg then we got him he got Naji that's that's like five home run hitters guys that could move the chains guys that you need to account for and when defenses see that they're gonna have to pick their forces and have an opportunity to go up against those guys go up against the offense over the last month it's been uh it's gonna be something it's gonna be quite the show the watch and you know I just pray and hope that everybody can stay healthy stay healthy you know that's always the uh always the uh the gift of the guy uh in this game but all all looking at what we have on paper it could be a very special year man it really could be I know we got a lot of new pieces I know we got a bunch of new faces unfamiliar faces but we have ball players here and that's what I come to understand um ever since I stepped foot in this building that guys love ball they want some softball and they want to be around ball and that's important to me because I want to be around guys that think and move like me you know what I mean and that's what's going to help you be more successful yo Pat so throughout your professional career you've had the luxury of being around some talented wide receivers life is Gerald in Arizona Justin Jefferson in Minnesota when you look at Deontay Johnson and George Pickens right I know it's been an off-season regimen but what have you seen from those two guys let's highlight Deontay first because I like Deontay game I think he's one of the smoothest route runners in National Football League but oftentimes you know he faces a lot of criticism for fans um they are very very critical of Deontay but I love his game and yeah I know some people complain about the drops but you know there are a few wide receivers that don't drop anything everybody can everybody ain't Larry Fitzgerald you know what I mean yeah Larry Fitzgerald probably had he probably has more cause fumbles in his career than drop passes right you know what I'm saying but in regards to Deontay I love his game and I think he's going to really take off especially with a year under his belt working with uh Kenny Pickett but what have you seen from Deontay and then you know the same question for you with uh George Pickens man it's crazy you say that because um the answer just posted a picture of me and him just wrapping it up yeah uh you know chopping it up on a football field and I had my I had the iPod um the tablet in my hand we're just talking about you know stuff that was going on in practice yeah and you know what what what what what what what pleased me about him is like you don't see most receivers put on the side DBS and you're like man what I could have done to do this better well what did I give you to make this so easy easily accessible to you like what did I show you and and that moment that's what made me know and understand like like he he gets not only that he gets it but he wants to be great you want to be remembered yeah like it is it it's not many guys that you run across um that have that manner that have those mannerisms and for me to see that now um I never forget that conversation we had last year in uh Ryan Tannehill talking about obviously his job was on the line and not being able didn't want to I don't know what it was not Mentor or give information to the younger quarterback but like man like we got so much information that these guys haven't seen why would we want to keep that from them like why do we wanna hinder their career on maybe something that we can give them a little piece of that we can give them that can help flourish their career you know I mean so um not to backtrack that kind of uh you know rub me the wrong way but just to have those conversations with Deontay just it just showed me that he he just don't want to be a guy he want to be remembered he want to be a Difference Maker which he is you know now now you just have to get opportunity to uh to continue to show that yeah and what about what you've seen from George Pickens hey George um man George's been great man you know um you know big guy who George remind me reminds me of is a DeAndre Hopkins like he's one of those guys that's going to catch everything that comes his way yeah you know at least I forgot to mention that you play with dhop as well I forgot about it yeah yeah but what I've seen in practice you know he's gonna catch everything thrown his way aggressive he got that attitude he got that dog mentality and he want all the action for whoever he want it he want it bro whoever so he reminds me a lot of uh D hop and uh from what I've seen so far so this receiver um for that that I'm with man these guys got potential to be with them this is a deep wide receiver unit you talk about the top three guys he got Deontay George Allen then the second group you got Calvin Gunner who's a special team guy returning kids in returning punts miles Boykin then you got Anthony is Anthony Miller finally healthy yeah you got Anthony you got Cody white you got Jamarcus Bradley then you got Fitzpatrick Dan you got Hakeem Butler who they got from the XFL so he's a big body guy so I mean you talking about there's some guys there man that's that's gonna be a battle yeah it is and the thing I love about Mike G he let these guys know he was like Hey man we know it's gonna be tough finding you know receivers obviously because we already know who the top three guys are but he said if you're a big body receiver and can got dog on me cover punch and can tackle you possibly gotta start on the team and that's the thing about these young guys sometimes they don't read the message that's on the wall no question it's written right there in front of you it's all about you took it or not yeah so that mean you better learn how to tackle and couldn't block people to get you a hat hey I remember uh when Emmanuel Sanders Antonio Brown was there and it was rookie like man listen I'm gonna keep it real with y'all but we got two dogs and one bone I don't know which one of them dogs will hit that bone and that bone was the hat to be to to know who can make the 53 he's like well we got every week it was two dogs and one ball I don't know which one of them they get that hat on Sunday but yeah that wide receiver battle man it's gonna be it's gonna be in it's gonna be intense man but
