[Music] well welcome everybody and thanks for that great energetic introduction it's really nice to see so many people here so many friends and partners so it's a very exciting time we're stepping up we plan to spend £60 billion $75 billion over the next 5 years Innova is absolutely key to what we're trying to do and this is an opportunity for those of you who are the inventors of the future to really work with us in a way that allows us to accelerate the adoption but when that starts to get boiled down to what you're dealing with on a day-to-day basis where are the big challenges it's important that we build infrastructure and we see that we cannot build infrastructure in the way we have done it before we have to look into new ways of doing it and also using the new technology but also inventing together you've seen this morning what some of the big companies are doing in the Innovation space and then obviously through ngtp we get to see it at the startup end as well I mean we talk about affordable sustainable and also secure system and our driver is that is actually to be able to bring technology that disa want to help all of you to move forward you've got you know this big existential problem and and I think there's a huge purpose that people are pursuing and trying to help tackle uh climate change combined with that's usually an enormous opportunity you know for entrepreneurs so I think it's those two things coming together we need at a very very early stage to be asking the question how can we innovate cuz if we don't do that then it's it's gone it's lost we all recognize that Innovation is it's really exciting it's really inspiring it's very easy to get drawn towards us and and it's absolutely crucial on the journey to next Z can you see the social capacity to build out the relationships with people whose knowledge can multiply the capacity to solve the problems that we're facing today there is no area in the world in my opinion where this is more important than the energy transition
