Scout Saturday - Aaron Rodgers

all right so today's a Saturday Scout I'm going to take on Aaron roders um obviously he's a phenomenal football player one of the best of the last two decades um use some Packer film because obviously not a lot of jet film to use on him yet um there's a lot you could talk about with Aaron Rogers but the thing that I want to note today is just what a good job he does staying on progression despite the potential for pressure right so right now and it's it's a it's a fairly soft example but what you see is right now a lot of quarterbacks would feel this right now that that defensive lineman's coming free and immediately start to gain depth Escape move Aaron knows that this ball is going to come out before that guy gets home he does not leave his spot he goes through this play action and he stands on that spot while that guy is coming free and delivers while knowing that that ball was going to get out he's thr it to Devonte Adams across the middle here um knowing that the ball's going to get out before the guy you know the defender gets there so he's really good at understanding his timing and staying on progression despite pressure right when there's pressure he doesn't panic he Maneuvers um there's other Clips where where we'll see him um I believe it's the play before this where we get a similar situation there's pressure coming and what does he do he just Maneuvers his way through he stays on his progression and then brings the ball out after going through it he doesn't look to Escape right he's really good at staying with this passing concept despite pressure add that in with phenomenal arm talent and he's a guy who dominates the game from the pocket every single game he plays
