hi I'm Thomas Burgess my involvement with rugby league is obviously a [Music] player been playing professional rugby league for 15 years uh now started in England moved over to sunny Australia and and here here we are uh yeah 15 years later still going still living the dream but yeah what what a uh sport is um a pleasure and an honor to be involved this great spot and um yeah I just want to keep living the dream for as long as I can uh obviously the people from family of League are unreal and helping out everyone involved with [Music] League oh well definitely know firsthand how how hard how hard life can be and life can be after football as well and anyone that's associated with rugby league um you know when that gets taken away it can be very tough time and uh yeah for me uh I'm I'm a big advocate for family of League anyone that might be struggling or not even struggling but want to help out and be involved with the guys it's such a great cause uh the biggest best biggest and best thing about rugby league is we're all one big family and we look after each other and that's what we do we look after each other on the field but more so off it and that's what you guys are all about family of League making sure we're all good and we're all uh we're all doing well I just spoke for 10 minutes so I don't know how fun that would be but yeah I'm sure there's plenty of beer flowing in there um this is a family of League event so I'm sure you would have fun it's definitely great to get down here and um you know I'm a big advocate for it obviously being involved with South we do plenty of events to get EX players past players we're very proud of our history and there's no less here as well everyone gets down get amongst your peers get amongst your friends and you know be a few beers long lunch what's uh what's more to [Music] life
