Hannibal welcome to Burnley thank you what's it like now you're officially a Burnley player um I'm very excited I'm very happy to be here and can't wait to to see the fans and your name that I'm sure a lot of people will be aware of already and I know that there were a lot of clubs that were also interested in you so why did you choose Burnley so um the past two years I played um lot against BL I really liked the way they play and when I came to the game um when we play at home now um it was uh really good the atmosphere was really good and when I spoke to the coach uh the project was uh was good and uh sound good to me and uh I hope we can make this work well I'll ask you about your time there at Birmingham city then so experience of playing in the championship ship how useful might that be for you this season do you think no I had a a great season with Birmingham um I liked it I like the fans I like uh the the championship was good because we was playing every three days and uh you know as a player the only way to gain experience is is to play so so yeah it was a nice experience I did my season in the championship so I'm not new in the championship I know a bit the the league but yeah I I can't wait to to start with Burnley but hopefully this is the last season that any of us see in the championship and will be in the Premier League next year we all know that the project is to go back in the Premier League so hopefully we can achieve this the manager here Scott Parker was uh a very successful midfielder in his own right how much of an influence did did he have on you coming here no when I spoke to him and he he spoke to me when he was at Tottenham then he played with really good names I even watched some clips so yeah he was a really good and it's nice to to have a manager who played the same position than you so he knows a bit he knows so you can ask many questions he he knows the game more than you he was here from a long time so yeah he good and terms of leaving Manchester United as well 5 years you were there which to some might not seem or sound like a long time but you're only 21 still so a lot of your formative years were there what what decisions did you have to make when leaving there how tough was that um to be honest I wasn't tough I'm telling you the truth I'm in a stage of my career where I need to play or I need to show my quality and when I spoke with the manager and and the board I I I wasn't going to have enough game time so so yeah I just decided to to leave United and uh and that's why I joined Burnley tell us about you as a player then what sort of player are you like and what sort of player do you want to be I hate losing I'm a very bad loser um so I would do everything for win um I'm a quality player uh I like nice football and uh I hate when we don't have the ball so I like when uh we press all hard together and we get we get the ball back and I want to have the ball so we need to recover quickly so yeah so just a couple finally then in terms of your Fitness um how ready would you be if you were called into action for the next game um uh um I did the preseason with United uh had some minutes um but uh in training I did a lot of uh worked but for sure it's not like a game it's not as a player you want to have game but yeah slowly slowly uh I think I'm I'm ready to play we're looking forward to seeing you play in the Burnley shirt as well and I know you mentioned before about playing at Turf more and what an experience that is so there's a camera there all your new Burnley supporters are there if you want to give them a message hi Burnley fans um I hope we we see each other really quick and uh I can give everything for you guys see [Music] sport fans around the world fans sport don't here [Music] food tennis H the gymnastic coup to [Music] should the whole [Music]
