3 2 1 hello everyone welcome to my YouTube channel Amy Canada I am an online Chinese teacher and I have been living in SAS Kon for a year now today let's go together and experience the long awaited sason fairworks Festival um it is warm and sunny today with a gentle Grace outside making it very pleasant you can hear the strong holay letter life just from the relaxed pace of people around we have been rehearsing all summer of the sason fair works basketall it is said to be a very influential event in the city and it's held every year [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is this is [Music] aform [Music] here Community Kayla Gardner who's the owner and artistic director of dance Ali Studios uh has uh well dance styles that they teach their ballet Point Jazz tap lyrical contemporary Street dance hip hop theater dance and more this is their Bella dance group from dance alive Studios welcome them to the stage [Music] w foree [Music] hope we [Music] [Applause] [Music] again again make [Music] spe w [Music] f for [Music] [Applause] [Music] hard as it may be for you to believe I sometimes move around like that as well uh I'm usually swatting at wasps or something though I don't make it look that good oh my goodness the Poise she had there wasn't that great absolutely incredible performance that's what you're going to see from here right up until 9:30 and we've already been going for hours and hours already my name is Gregor from 98 cool thanks so much for coming down and joining us here this afternoon for day two for night two of the nutrient fireworks festival kind of had thought the wind would die down by now good news is it's going to be low enough we should be good to go for fireworks time tonight so 9:30 tonight that's when the fireworks are going off to get us there we've still got lots more great performers and lots more great cultural performances on The the stage here so uh hang tight don't get too far but that's it there's a lot to see and do around here so I don't want to hold you back make sure you're popping over to Nasser Plaza seeing all the cool stuff especially for the kids that's going on over there make sure you're going to get something to eat look at all the food trucks we've got 40 plus food trucks lining River landing and the Victoria Bridge so there's lots to try out lots for you to Chow Down on of course we've got over in Rotary Park the family and safety fun zone so there's lots for the kids to do over there too so make sure you're taking in all of the action all of the excitement of the nutrient fireworks festival and big there thanks so much for hanging out here on the cultural stage we have seen so much cool stuff so much fun stuff we've had the hula hoop girl we've had Irish dancing we had a string quartet playing earlier and this is one of my favorite groups we've had new groups here this year that I've never seen before is like the biggest Ensemble group of cast cast of ensembles and this group though I've seen before they're one of my fav so let's get them going let's get them up here this is aeha School of Dance they're the leading institution that provides exceptional dance education fostering a love for the art form and nurturing the talent of its students huge Round of Applause I heard how loud you can be be nice and Loud here for the School of Dance you can imagine how many different festivals would be celebrated throughout the year out of the Thousand festivals that the people of India celebrate we will only be presenting a few let's start with the first month of the year January Makar sankranti is a festival celebrated all over India Makar sankranti also has many different names including Lori Pongal utan and po [Music] Shanti [Music] [Music] for sh [Music] for [Music] oh mahash ratri is the festival during the months of February and March that observes The Waiting of Shiva and Parvati and the occasion that shivba performs his Divine dance called the tand [Music] Shankar shank Shankar [Music] [Music] [Music] m [Music] it is a Festival of Colors love and [Music] forgiveness you want a [Music] [Music] sh [Music] [Music] sh [Music] don't me [Music] I'm [Music] for foree again to check out the food trucks in front of the trucks we could see long lines of people waiting to buy snacks the wonderful SAS flork Festival has come to an end there will be more spectacular
