well ladies and gentlemen in this video I am going to be going through a little bit of an update when it comes to these major college football Renovations we did have a new stadium that broke around about a week ago I'm going to get to that in a little bit but we do have some new photos from Kansas Memorial Stadium and I have to say I've seen some of the newer renderings or maybe just renderings that I hadn't seen this renovation that they're doing $300 million it look looks amazing and it's a unique design you have kind of the I don't know if that's supposed to be like corn stocks or whatever those you know metal things going up very cool extremely unique I really like what Kansas is doing and they've got like a whole new Upper Deck I just thought those renderings looked really good when it came to Kansas football and again $300 million to basically redesign the entire Stadium they've like gutted it completely almost they're barely leaving any stands and it will be interesting when it comes to this Stadium how many of these seats will be bleachers cuz another thing we're seeing with a lot of these Renovations especially behind end zones and what FSU is doing I'll get to that they're replacing all the bleachers with just normal seating is college football going further and further away from bleachers when it comes to now that we're in 2024 people want more comfy seats things like that obviously the student section should still be bleachers but when it comes to just the rest of to the stadium I mean most people already bring like cushions anyways and things like that and reserve them so could we see more renovations to these older stadiums where they remove a lot of the bleachers I think that is something that is interesting that could be happening uh depending the next renovation or this is not a renovation this is the brand new Ryan Fields here are some of the renderings of it they just broke ground on it on it a week ago Northwestern will be playing at the practice field right next to Michigan Stadium there was also a rendering on that with kind of the dinky temporary seating surrounding it they're going to be playing probably like their first four or five games and they play two games at Wrigley Field to end out the year those are technically home games at Wrigley but their new stadium you know with college stadiums it's tough because we just there's just so few like brand new College stadiums that get built the only ones I can really remember recently are Minnesota and Baylor pretty much every other major change to a college Stadium as a renovation at least recently and Minnesota Stadium opened in like 2009 so there is just very few new stadiums and this one does kind of look generic I think it looks good we'll see you know they've got a a little overhang going around considering the weather there but that will be happening and certainly a way way better Stadium than what the old Ryan Field was they definitely had to get a new stadium with the big 10 especially adding more teams the lucrative TV deal so they have officially broken ground on that brand new stadium we do have updated photos here is a nice picture of what the one-end zone of Vanderbilt looks like you can actually see like the side Suites the angled side Suites when you look at the rendering as compared to where they're at right now in terms of the construction process and then they did release more renderings showcasing some of the exclusive seating behind both of the end zones because both of the endzones are getting Renovations they're taking they they already took a bunch of seats out of both of them and the one is really interesting with that design it's like it had they have their own little building there to the right with a bunch of suits in it I I think that looks pretty cool very unique and there is seating there but not much at all looks like really nice seating and then above that possibly maybe a restaurant an area for people social Gathering something like that so I do wonder is that going to be complete by the start of this year because I heard a rumor maybe last year that it was going to be another year where both of the end zones were going to be under construction cuz last year it was a total train wreck both of the end zones were like just dirt areas they hadn't even built anything up yet now they've at least gotten to the point where they're building stuff up I don't know if it's going to be done though maybe one of the end zones will be done but I believe both of these end zones will be in the college football video game fully completed which is pretty cool I do not believe the Kansas this renovation will be in the game originally I thought they said it was going to be in but I saw some photos like they showed a photo of Kansas Stadium it wasn't the full thing but based on what I saw I think they're just using the old stadium which you know right now Kansas really doesn't have a stadium they're going to be playing at an MLs sit stadium and then they're going to be playing at Arrowhead for their conference games this year and I would imagine if there is you know we would expect an NCA 26 they would have the Kansas Memorial Stadium renovation in that game you also do have SMU so I saw this on X I I do remember SMU was getting this but honestly I I don't think I talked about it in my last update I kind of forgot about it it looks very nice it's understandable that was originally just a grass area I'm surprised SMU didn't have anything built up there but it's typical you know you're going to get the nice seating behind the end zone and then it seems like they built almost like an extension or an addition onto a building that was already there it was like a pre-existing building and then they buil built onto it and connected it which I think is is pretty cool and definitely unique so SMU getting a renovation that is going to be done before the start of the Season taking a look at Florida State so that's pretty crazy all of the seating is removed they are completely rebuilding the entire seating behind the one sideline and if you're wondering what they're doing it's just they're just modernizing it and and putting in all of those seats all the bleachers are gone and they are also you've got that exclusive exclusive seating which I'm sure costs a ton of money they're heavily incentivized to do that and that will be right behind the sideline it definitely seems more like an NFL type feature for sure and also with FSU I do wonder if they will get overhangs I would imagine they probably will they were talking about possibly doing like a massive overhang going all the way around that could be their next renovation I guess we will see you know they got those weird tent overhangs this was another renovation FSU got where they completely rebuilt their one end zone and I never really understood those like it just looks weird to me I don't know it just doesn't look right it's very distinct and and it just comes off strange but you also do have this is just I'm going to quickly go over this Beaver Stadium is getting a 700 million doll renovation very few renderings have been released just an exterior rendering of what it could look like it's it's going to be over four seasons I believe the renovation the construction on it they are starting with the one side and then I think we'll get more widespread or widescale Renovations of the entire thing possibly next year also I did have a do a video on this maybe a few months ago Missouri getting the huge renovation behind their one end zone they've had a breakout season around $200 million they're keeping a nice little grass patch there and then building up those two sections of seats above it and then also above that that it seems like you've got some more Club exclusive seats a pretty nice thing there kind of weird that they're keeping that patch though normally when teams renovate they immediately get rid of that and then at the end I figured I would predict a renovation that possibly could be announced within the next few years I'm going to go with atson Stadium home of Oregon there's just been a ton of money dumped into the Oregon football program it's not that oon stadium is bad or anything but based on its current capacity I would imagine they're going to want to do something maybe add a second deck behind one of the end zones possibly add a restaurant kind of a bar area social space things like that it just looks a little bit in compared to some of the other major stadiums I think they could be the one that does some type of 200 $300 million do renovation you really don't don't have to do too much to it it's a really nice Stadium but it is just a giant lower bowl that loops around I will say it is kind of weird in terms of trying to build out because it's on a hill so that might be hard but I still think behind one of the end zones where there's very limited seating they potentially could build up and possibly add more seats maybe raise the capacity a little bit and then also do something to where you look at Vanderbilt you look at some of these other teams like SMU behind the end zones it's really more like luxury seating exclusive seating things like that so I would say oton Stadium could be the next major college football renovation for a BigTime program either way guys that is going to do it for this video make sure you follow me on X link to that's always in the description
