Body cameras capture sudden struggle in Tooele with 'Proud Boys' fugitive

stop Hur some people went desperate enough they and backed into a corner they they react like this dramatic new video tonight coming out of toilla showing officers wrestling with a wanted man had the potential to be a very dangerous situation for officers because of what they say the man tried to do it's a story you're only seeing on KSL 5 News specialist Andrew Adams joins us live with the details Andrew Well de they say they he not only grabbed for one of their guns once he actually did it twice in this exchange that was captured by Body camera crazy to think minutes earlier they didn't even know who this guy was they were actually looking for somebody else we had no idea who who he was that there was you know any warrants it unfolded on to Will's East bench wasn't even on our radar and police were looking for a fugitive if this is a situation where maybe we only have one or two officers there it could be a completely different story Corporal Colby Bentley says officers had questioned the woman boyfriend who said he hadn't seen her they're talking to him everything's calm and it just shows how quickly things can change in any situation when officers found her hidden under several boxes they confronted Gordon Croc so you're going to be placed under arrest for obstruction why it got ugly in a hurry did you Fus no stop he begins to try and grab an officer's gun which is you know a huge threat to us police say crun grabbed for their guns twice so they grabbed a taser it looked like there was two cycles on the [Music] taser as soon as he starts complying and gets his arm out um they sto tasing him they still have the taser there in his back ready to go if needed knock it off sit down for a sec officers subsequently found out Kon was also a fugitive from Oregon does look like he's a member of The Proud boys organization someone they never expected to encounter in Suburban Tua some people went desperate enough they and backed into a corner they they react like this they're grateful cronk's apprehension didn't end any worse the rifle is right there and readily accessible to him if he's able to get that and take safe off I mean we're talking about an entirely different situation that is is pretty scary well crunk had two warrants out including one that would have had him extradited from anywhere in the country in this case he's already been charged with multiple felonies including disarming and a police officer and assault by a prisoner thank you all right pretty intense video there Andrew thank you
